MOVIES: Fifth Bourne Film Pushed to 2016

Universal Pictures has pushed the release date of the fifth film in the "Bourne" series from 14th August 2015, to 15th July 2016.

    Neither. it's bc Universal wanted to make room for the film Straight Outta Compton, bout the rise and fall of gangsta rap pioneers N.W.A.


    With this date pushed Bourne 5 would be going up against Ice Age 5. with movies Fast&Furious 7 premiering on April 10, Jurassic World June 12, Ted 2 June 26 and finally with Minions on July 26.

    Latest rumor is that Matt Damon will also come back, and there will be a Bourne/Cross team up. This would be my dream but I think its wishful thinking for now.

    I'd almost rather Damon didn't return. An argument could be made that Jason Bourne's story has been completed and thus his story is done. Re-introducing him into the Aaron Cross story could complicate the story.

    i m used to watching jason bourne in bourne movies.but without him feels odd .if they r gonna bring jeremy renner again plz dont use bourne title .
