ReplyDeletei don't know how they work on their policy about spoilers .So far Emily Rose hides herself so nothing gets out .Her pictures get deleted all over the internet and Eric is ok, he tweets everything spoilery from Duke's haircut,to Jennifer and he even offered back if he got many followers on instagram page from a script that didn't work because how that would be ok?
ReplyDeleteIt's obvious something happened and she doesnt want to return,money issues with the network ,who knows? Still it's something they should keep under wraps.Many people liked Jennifer and the finale was vague about her being dead. Not cool....
The show has major issues about how they treat their female characters,even their main female character,especially in season four.
Oh no! I was hoping Jennifer survived! So sad.

ReplyDeleteI liked her character, but I never could warm up to the idea of her and Duke as a couple. Their relationship seemed like something the writers quickly concocted to keep Duke fans happy, which made it seem somewhat forced. I just hope that her departure doesn't mean a return to the Audrey, Nathan, Duke love triangle!.

ReplyDeleteIt's Nathan/Audrey they will always add more problems.I don't think we should be afraid of the triangle.It's implied that her character was set for return but something else occured and messed up things.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the new female character is set for Duke,we don't know.Maybe for once a female character doesn't need to be a love interest or an antagonist or be so important when you don't know how long your actor signed up for and if you can have them in the future.Haven suffers in these terms.
For me it would be cool to bring Julia back .She was already friends with Audrey and was close to Duke and he cared for her.She is not dead and also in the s1 finale appeared having the guard tattoo , similar to the one Vince had.
But it was said a main character would die so not sure how that could be true unless another character died and I just missed it.

ReplyDeleteGuess I am in the minority, but I never really warmed to the character of Jennifer. I think the fact that she seemed to be inserted at a rush as a love interest for Duke was what was at fault. They really should have given the character a chance to develop before making her such a prominent character. I found her insersion into the story a bit too forced and for that reason I found her hard to like. Hopefully they will do better with a new character and introduce her better. Give us a chance to get to know and like her before she takes a main role.

ReplyDeleteAw, I loved Jennifer. Sad to hear it, but if that's what she wants to do. I wish they had given her a better ending, honestly.
ReplyDeleteTrue, and I am in agreement about not wanting to revert to a love triangle. Duke and Audrey as friends worked really well adn they should leave it there. I guess my point is that they don't need to force pairings. Introduce the characters adn give them a chance to grow on their own first.
