Series co-creator Ryan Murphy told TVLine at Thursday’s Critics Choice Television Awards (where he was honored with the Louis XIII Genius Award) that the show will shift back to its original conceit in Season 6.
“We’re working on the last season now, and it really feels like it’s getting back to its roots, which I love,” he shared. “I’m sort of reinvigorated about it. It’s getting back to what I was initially interested in with the show, which was arts in school. The last season is really about the importance of arts education in our high schools… I think people will like it.”

ReplyDeleteso we are back to Mckinley? .. i just dont see the point tehs eries will probably end with Rachel winning the Nationals with the new glee club, but hey that's what i thought the series were going to end the first time, with them loosing an loosing untill finally they will make it big.
ReplyDeleteSinking ship? It has been on the ocean floor for a while.
ReplyDeleteLOL this show. What a joke.
ReplyDeleteI had actually written "sunk turd" but I edited the comment because it was a bit vulgar.
ReplyDeleteI don't think one can be too vulgar when talking about how bad this show has become.
ReplyDeleteThe only reason to back to McKinley:
ReplyDeleteLast episode. Last minute. Glee room. Rachel (a bit old but still gorgeous) is holding a little girl.
Rachel: "And here, Barbra, is where all begun".
Barbra: "I want to be a star!"
ENDING CREDITS.
The final season should be about the production of Rachel's TV pilot to begin with, and then a McKinley reunion where the old Glee members work to get the New Directions up and running again. Then the new Glee members work with the old ones and put on a massive performance before graduation. TV execs attend this performance and want to turn Rachel's TV pilot into a movie, that also includes some other McKinley students. Cut to a few months later where the Glee club hosts an early screening of the movie, and the fate of the characters' relationships are revealed.
