I may be in the minority but I'm really not looking forward to an entire episode of this fight for the wall. The wall SL was never one of my favorites, on the series or in the books. Sam aside, of course.
Totally with you, it's the leas interesting storyline for me, I hope they find a way to make it epic anyways and continue with their tradition of having amazing episodes to conclude the season.
I wonder who dies in this 9th episode follow-up to The Rains of Castamire. It seems too focused on the North which I usually find a bit boring but I trust the writers to surprise me abd conclude with two epic episodes.
I have a feeling this episode will be kind of meh. I know people loved Blackwater, but I think it was because it took place in King's Landing where there are a lot of interesting characters. But on the Wall...not so much. Plus, it looks like the fight will take place at night, so we won't be able to see sh*t. Hope I'm wrong.
I love that Neil Marshall who directed Blackwater is back for another epic battle, also if it ends how I think it will I might cheer! One of my favourite moments in the series.
I agree with you , I dread the episode when we have to watch Bran and his group just wondering around. I actually have no clue to what he is actually even doing.
The only thing I enjoy about their scenes is Hodor and that's really telling when a big man that says only "Hodor" is more entertaining then the others put together, lol.
I know it's a stupid question because I think nobody cares, I haven't read the books but do Jon free Ghost at this moment? Because he might need him more than ever.
I feel like I'm going to be the only one disappointed by this episode. Most things that happen in the North are boring to me(especially Bran), the Wall included.
You can't be the only. I understand though what you mean. I feel the same about most of the stuff that happen in Kingslanding (especially those that retcon the books). More so when it comes to Daenerys. In that case I feel the urge to act like Cat after Robb died in the books. Much more gruesome and tragic as she tore her face and hair up.
I hope I didn't give too much away. Ghost being ok is a small spoiler. Love Ghost too, he is my favorite from all the direwolves. He's also part of my profile pic :D
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Here we go, another episode number 9... I'm scared.
ReplyDeleteLooks badass! Can't Wait!
ReplyDeleteThis episode would have eaten up the season's budget :D Looks epic!

ReplyDeleteLooks freakin epic! So excited!
ReplyDeleteWildings and Giants and Thenns.. Oh my!
ReplyDeleteEven less interesting than Bran inc?
ReplyDeleteWell, there are a few surprises in store which should keep the fight exciting.
ReplyDeleteLOL no, definitely not, Bran bores me so much I had even forgotten about him.

ReplyDeleteI have an idea for at least one..... eeeek.... I read the book so I don't wanna say who and spoil peeps who don't wanna know....
ReplyDeleteLooks like another epic episode to what has been an epic season.
ReplyDeleteThere's at least ONE moment I'm looking forward to in this episode...
ReplyDeleteI know it's a stupid question because I think nobody cares, I haven't read the books but do Jon free Ghost at this moment? Because he might need him more than ever.
ReplyDeleteLol.
ReplyDeleteI think the one you're referring to doesn't involve the Wall at all.

ReplyDeleteThe big non Wall death probably won't happen till the last ep. Just a guess though.
ReplyDeleteI hope nothing happen to Ghost, I don't want to see another Grey Wind situation happening. =S

ReplyDeleteI am sure someone will free him up somehow. Nothing is gonna happen him, since he is alive in the end of the 5th book.
ReplyDeleteOMG you just made my day, thank you so much (ugh, I love Ghost so much, so I was kind of worried about him)
ReplyDeleteI hope I didn't give too much away. Ghost being ok is a small spoiler. Love Ghost too, he is my favorite from all the direwolves. He's also part of my profile pic :D
ReplyDeleteShould be good. I don't know why the wall stuff seems so uninteresting to people, but the best is coming.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I can see that, with Jon. ^_^
ReplyDeleteHope we get to see Mance Rayder again!
