Damn , i was hoping for the 100 to not adjust down.
ReplyDeleteMee too! but hey, lets look at the god side, it's already been renewed and with all the positive reviews it's getting more people has to tune-in in the fall.
ReplyDeleteDamn for The 100. Best episode so far.
ReplyDeleteI am hoping more people tune in , the show is really good and deserves more people watching it.
ReplyDeleteSo am just wondering why Graceland had 1.56 million viewers and got a .6 but the 100 had 1.68 ,million viewerrs and got a .5?
ReplyDeleteThey are on at different times.
ReplyDeleteMore people need to watch The 100! It deserves higher!
ReplyDeleteThe 100 finale was outstanding!
ReplyDeleteBut it is summer after all, I hope lots of people will catch up over the summer if they have not watch the show jet. It deserves higher, but new viewers don't tune in for the finale of a show!
The 18-49 demo numbers reflect a specific age bracket, while the overall viewership reflects everyone. So, you could, in theory, have a show that gets 10 million viewers, but only gets a 0.5 due to only older (or younger) people watching. Or you could have a show with only 3 millions viewers with a 2.0. A great example of these discrepancies can be seen in many CBS dramas' high viewership but low demo numbers.
ReplyDeleteWhat that difference means is that more people watched The 100, but more people between the ages of 18-49 watched Graceland. Last time I checked, 1.0 in the demo represented 1.3 million people.
thanks, as clear as mud! but I get it
ReplyDeletethanks. I guess the powers that be think that those are more important because they have more disposable income when it actual fact, those ore the ages that probably have the most financial obligations!
