The O.C.’s Melinda Clarke has signed on guest star in two episodes in the third season of TNT’s Dallas.

Clarke will assume the role of Tracy Lawton, a character who was introduced in the 12th season of the original series and was played by Beth Toussaint.

    Hopefully Melinda can bring some of Helen ( Amanda Collins ) Collins - Nikita / Julie Cooper-Nichol - The O.C. to the role, possibly making her the next Kristin Shepard or Katherine Wentworth if their smart.
