Borgia - Season 3 - First teaser + first photos + extra episodes added
9 Jun 2014
Canal PlusThis is the final season of Borgia, returning this fall on Canal+ (it will arrive on Netflix afterwards).
Filming of season 3 of Borgia ended in February, and it will bring Tom Fontana's take on the Borgia family to a close in October/November. The show had been renewed for 12 final episodes, but as the writing progressed it seems like Fontana realized he needed more time to wrap things up, thus he has been granted two extra episodes, and season 3 will have 14 episodes.
Here's the first teaser :
The voiceover is making a pun on the expression "sans foi ni loi", which literally means "without faith or law" but the proper English equivalent is "fearing neither god nor man". With that in mind :
They have faith, but they're lawless. Brother, sister, but Borgia first and foremost. Soon on Canal+.
Awesome! It's great that they added more episodes because some many things have to happen yet. Too bad it's the last season.
ReplyDeleteI'm at a loss, hadn't this been cancelled? Don't get me wrong, I'm ecstatic I was wrong, but I bought The Borgia Apocalipse ebook because this had been cancelled and I wanted to know what would've happened...
ReplyDeleteThis is the European tv show. The showtime tv show was canceled.
ReplyDeleteje suis trop impatiente de revoir Borgia !! :D I'm glad they added 2 more episodes ! it can't hurt ;D
ReplyDeleteYep, I read the article after posting my question and I realized my mistake, lol. Thatnks for the answer.
ReplyDeleteIt's not perfect but it's better than the showtime version. I love both shows but I'm the first one to admit The Borgias S2 was pretty meh and that's why it sunk in the ratings.
ReplyDeleteThis show has annoying/stupid stuff too but it's more accurate when it comes to the historical events and the characters. The only disgusting stuff is the Pope's sex scenes in S1 but they removed them almost completely from S2 because I'm sure most people complained about them lol.
I'll have to check it out then ;-)
ReplyDeleteDidn't know that there's a European version of The Borgias.
