@Jayneebabe I have been told that there will be NO #BATB panel at Comic Con :( ...I will have to take a raincheck on those #FacerFraps

I wouldn't worry too much. Considering the cast film in NY sometimes I assume they'll go to NYCC instead. If they're smart they'll work it into their filming schedule so they can be in NY when it's on, cutting the costs.
ReplyDeleteNo # BATB at Comic Con :( then no time for comic con. Maybe interviews on other shows would make up for it. Like The Ellen Degenerous show or the today show. A show that will be better publicity for them.. They do so well in interviews together.
ReplyDeletethat would sure be great seeing this show and cast and crew are by far the best ever.
ReplyDeleteWhy are you posting this as news? That tweet is almost 2 weeks old and it's not too late for them to change their minds. Thanks for catching up to the rest of us though. :p
ReplyDeleteI guess CBS would rather spend money sending The Messengers cast.
ReplyDeleteGood decision if that's CBS's plan.
ReplyDeleteThe show films in Toronto (the cw would never pay the higher costs of shooting ny).
ReplyDeleteGood.
ReplyDeleteSigned, why send a poorly rated show to sdcc while you can promote a new one and save money?
ReplyDeleteBecause its a poorly rated show and probably won't lure enough guests there.
ReplyDeleteProbably not worth the money
Pourtant dans les autre pays il y a beaucoup de personnes qui aime batb .depuis que je le regarde il y a des series que je ne regarde plus
ReplyDeleteof they dont go that means it will be open for other show, Flash is going to be there right? as well as IZombie, i would love to see The 100 now that will air in the fall and The Messengers
ReplyDeleteI said the same thing. I hope they will be at NYCC. I would love to see the cast in new interviews, they are always great in it.
ReplyDeleteEp 4 of S2 Hothead was filmed in NY. In fact, BatB was the 2nd TV show who was allowed to film at the 9/11 memorial. It was a beautiful and touching scene. And the last ep 22 was also partly shot in NY.
ReplyDeletegreat, batb sucks
ReplyDeleteWell that sucks for the fans.
ReplyDeleteAs poorly rated as Nikita was, WB made sure they sent the cast every year(tha of which I'm truly greatful for).
Actually hater judging by the turn out last year it brings in a large crowd.
ReplyDeleteHaters who have never even watched the show are still so bitter it was renewed yet find the need to post about the show.
I would guess at Arrow, Flash, SPN, TVD, TO, T100, iZombie, The Messangers all being there in some form. They'll showcase the new shows. Arrow and Flash likely share a panel as do TVD/TO and SPN has a massive draw so theres no way it wont be there.
ReplyDeleteonly show I watch on the CW
ReplyDeleteEven if BATB doesn't go to SDCC, there's a chance it could go to NYCC, seeing as the show takes place in NYC (even though it films mostly in Toronto). I know it's frustrating to learn of this information, but it gives CW & CBS a chance to promote newer shows. Seeing as BATB will not have its third season until 2015, the cast will need to use this time to prepare for the new season. :)
ReplyDeleteJust remember, if you love a show so much, keep rooting for it. BATB wouldn't even be if not for the fanbase. :) :) :)
Don't let haters bother you; I've learned to ignore them.
My question is...why do haters even waste energy on commenting on BATB if they hate it so much? They should just leave the fandom to the fans and let the fans do all of the commenting. :)
It's due to the fact CW waited till the end to Renew the show. For shows to appear to at SDCC they need to know in advance bout the renewal so they can prepare and get ready. learning till the end bout the renewal doesnt give u much time.
ReplyDeleteI'm not screaming with disaproval, thus I must be a hater.
ReplyDeleteLet me tell you: I hate a lot of things, BatB is rather insignificant on my 'to hate' list.
I'm not stating something new when saying that it's poorly rated. That is a fact. Not me hating.
Every business suit will tell you that if a product doesen't work out the way you wanted it to you won't push in too much money in the future. This IS the case with BatB. They're not making their money from their con-presence, they gain attention, if that attention doesen't translate into positive ratings for BatB this was a simply pointless investment. As simple as that.
And as much as I wished that this show was as closely as good as the original with Hamilton and Perlman I'm still not bitter about the renewal. The opposite is the case actually.
It gave me hope for more poorly doing programs to get a shot at closure.
So as much as I don't care for the show itself I do like the gesture.
Am I a BatB hater? Nope, are you a crazed fangirl? Very likely
It's a shame for the fans, but it's not really a surprise given the ratings. People, let's just be grateful for what we got, that's a victory on its own.
ReplyDeleteFrom someone who said that BATB hadn't a chance of renewal. Lol. Boohoo:)
ReplyDeleteNope, looks like you are the crazy one.
ReplyDeleteWell, why send a low rated show when you can promote a new one?
ReplyDeleteI ddisagree thus I must be crazy. Get your high horse to bend over NOW
