Excited for both of these things!
ReplyDeleteAnd even more excited that BJ Britt was spotted on the Age of Ultron set, which means he most likely will be a regular next season and will survive it! Hope we find out officially soon, though.
I can't even tell you how happy it makes me to see that there's a possibility that one (or two?!!) Avengers can actually appear on the show!
ReplyDeleteWe already have an Avenger in the show: Coulson. But I think they probably will add Hawkeye and Bruce making guest appearances. Or they might do something radical and add one of the many non-screen Avengers into the show.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing Hawkeye and Black Widow or maybe Bruce. More than that i would be definitely surprised.
ReplyDeleteGuess she's talking Scarlett Witch and Quicksilve, they would've been smart enough to contract the actors to TV appearances as well now
ReplyDeleteSounds great! About who it may be:
ReplyDelete(some quick ideas in no particular order)
Black Widow: Scarlett Johansson is a big time movie star so one would think that she's unlikely to appear given her demands. Plus she's pregnant so in several months she's going to be busy with some very personal things but given that Sam Jackson who is also a big time movie star appeared; anything is possible. Verdict: Hopeful but not holding my breath.
Captain America: This seems like the appearance that makes the most sense. Story wise, Steve Rogers is out there looking for Bucky and would still be reachable to everyone. Season 2 will likely integrate itself with the upcoming events in Avengers Age of Ultron and Captain America popping by SHIELD only makes sense.
Hawkeye: The ending of Captain America The Winter Soldier has Baron von Strucker plotting evil doings for Hydra in a super secret facility with the Maximoff twins. I suspect Hawkeye will be in deep cover among them. I mentioned that Season 2 will likely integrate itself with the Avengers Age of Ultron.
Iron Man: Robert Downey Jr. is the biggest big time movie star in the group and you would think that this would immediately mean that no TV appearance is pretty much a foregone conclusion. But consider this: Avengers Age of Ultron is about the super destructive, ultra intelligent AI robot that Stark creates. Plot wise Joss Whedon could spend a bunch of time in the movie itself setting up the creation of Ultron and the reasons behind it, or he can come into the movie with Ultron's construction/development already in progress as pre established on Agents of SHIELD.
As for everyone else, anything is ultimately possible. This will be fun.
they need the hype of having an avenger to give the show a boost, they know they need a lot of that, the show is not doing as they expected. Hope to see Thor and Black Wdow tho.
ReplyDeleteThat's just the best blanking news can't wait for her backstory.
ReplyDeleteYay! bring on some avengers! preferably Hawkeye, who seemed to have a close relationship with Coulson, and Black Widow.
ReplyDeleteSomehow I can imagine Bruce turning up just because Mark Ruffalo is genuinely super excited at everything so he might be willing to do it.
ReplyDeleteWell the avenger (or avengers) i think would be either Captain America and maybe Iron Man. And as for Melinda i think that we might have a flashback which is good for us because we will see her as more normal person.
ReplyDeleteYes, but the bad side of this is that we would never see The Hulk in this series. But nice prediction i hope you are right.
ReplyDeleteoh yeah they wouldn't be able to do the Hulk way too expensive but Bruce geeking out with FitzSimmons would be nice.
ReplyDeleteTony Stark showing up would be great as his father is a founding member of Shield and could provide the funds to help SHIELD out
ReplyDeleteTony Stark/Bruce would be best choice.....two smartest Avenger........or Black Widow/Hawkeye since they were former SHIELD agent
RDJ could potentially show up- he did do Ally McBeal for a year and he was pretty well known then. Considering the MCU is pretty large, they could probably afford to have him show up. I mean Glee was able to afford Gwyneth Paltrow for her multiple episodes.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see an episode potentially be a continuance of Steve looking for Bucky. Chris Evans has done TV guest spots before, and Sebastian Stan certainly has, even after being in the first Captain America.
