3) Filtering also works across columns eg Typing Recent into the Status Column and FOX in the Network column will show all the Recent FOX entries.
Any questions, problems please let us know in the comments.
Below is the full list of known pilots for the new Pilot Season We'll be doing our best to keep this continually updated as and when new information is posted and new pilots are confirmed. We'll also be updating this to indicate when a show is picked up to Series and when the show is cancelled/abandoned.

Also feel free to let us know in the comments below which Pilots interest you and which ones you think will Bomb!
You can view a full screen version here.
Shows I'm interested in: Galyntine, Westworld, One Mile Straight Down, Darkfall, The Money Pit, Stitchers. I loved The Money Pit movie. And Westworld is still a favorite of mine. Stitchers sounds alittle like Dollhouse.
ReplyDeleteBe interesting to see an updated version of Westworld, although I'm always very wary of updated versions ruining my memory of the original :)
ReplyDeleteThe sequel movie, Futureworld, was awful. It was cringeworthy. But I'm hoping, if this show is done right, it will be good.
ReplyDeleteI thought Flesh & Bone was at Starz, not Syfy?
ReplyDeleteHa opps, well spotted :)
ReplyDeleteShould be fixed shortly.
Oh god! I remember that movie!
ReplyDeleteUnder TNT these 2 look to be the same thing:
ReplyDeleteAgent X
Untitled W. Blake Herron Action/Adventure Drama
Could you please add a link so i could look at it full screen?
ReplyDeleteThanks, yes you are right. I've updated the sheet.
ReplyDeleteSure, we've added the link under the spreadsheet that will open the full version.
ReplyDeletethanks
ReplyDeleteNothing groundbreaking, nothing new, not even anything original. TV industry is shit.
ReplyDeletestitchers probably won't because it's supernatural and it's like abc family hates those kinds of shows, examples kyle xy (granted that one lasted for three but it still got cancelled) ravenswood and now twisted so i wouldn't get attached to it tell me i'm wrong, don't get me wrong i want it to be successful because it sounds amazing and i'll watch it but i'm weary of it and wow i thought wonderland was dropped so it looks like it still has a a chance awesome
ReplyDeleteStitchers sounds interesting but way too similar to iZombie
ReplyDeleteIt's a put pilot, hasn't been given an official pilot order.
ReplyDeleteGod, these shows are either a huge cliche or a complete bore.
ReplyDeleteDeliverance Creek is a tv movie.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the status of this one? The article is vague:
ReplyDeletehttp://deadline.com/2014/09/zachary-levi-nbc-musical-comedy-eva-longoria-840472/
I don't think it's reached pilot stage yet.
ReplyDeletewell any news on the show david fincher is directing?
ReplyDeleteI'm still confuse with the terms "Pilot Production Commitment" and "Series Commitment" what are the differences? in Supergirl case will it be green lit? is it going to air? please ans thank you
ReplyDeleteHi.
ReplyDeletePilot Production Commitment means that they are committed to making a Pilot Episode. There is no guarantee that this will ever air.
a Series Commitment means that they will order the show to series.
Oh thank you, so now I can be happy and waiting for the Supergirl's casting announcement then
ReplyDeletehttp://deadline.com/2014/10/breed-john-scott-shepherd-pilot-tnt-1201268447/
ReplyDeleteThis is TNT’s fourth drama pilot over the past month or so, joining fantasy dramadrama Lumen, Jerry Bruckheimer and Michael Bay’s cocaine project and the DC-themed Titans. Three of the four, Lumen, Titans and Breed, are likely eyed for the network’s action/genre Sunday night.
There are two Titans? I´m confused...
ReplyDeleteTitans hasn't been ordered to pilot yet.
ReplyDeleteIt was a back-door pilot.
ReplyDeleteWGN retitled their's to Outsiders.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised at FX or maybe I've just missed an announcement of a new show. They're losing both SOA and Justified.
ReplyDeleteC'mon no Wonderland this year? I was expectng at least one od those Alice in wonderland theme series to be up for next fall.
ReplyDeleteTeen Titans on TNT? No mention?
ReplyDeleteNever heard of it, sorry Brian. When did the show get it's pilot order? Do you have a link to an announcement or press release?
ReplyDeleteHere you go! http://screenrant.com/teen-titans-tv-show-tnt/
ReplyDeletePerhaps the order hasn't come through - maybe still in development
ReplyDeleteThanks Brian, yep it's not been ordered to pilot yet. Only pilot shows are displayed here. Try the development watch spreadsheet for shows in development
ReplyDeleteWhat about 'The Magellan' from CW?
ReplyDeleteHi @Chrιs
ReplyDeleteIt's not been ordered to Pilot. This article/table is only for shows that are at the Pilot Stage.
For all shows in development stage, click on Development Watch from the Features menu.
As of December 8th 2014, the IMDb updated the "Open" pilot status as being in Pre-Production again and updated the cast list. Anyone know if it was purchased by a new network after HBO dropped it?
ReplyDeleteWe've not heard any info I'm afraid. If we do we'll be sure to update the table.
ReplyDeleteTo sum it up, you do NOT want to miss tonight's Series Premiere. http://bit.do/XRv9
ReplyDeleteMagellan? I've heard about Shakespeare and Darwin pilot, but that's first.
ReplyDeleteI remember hearing about Wonderland's pilot since forever, how much time has it been?
ReplyDeleteExcited for pilot season to begin! Hoping the pilot orders come in the next few weeks. When did the orders come last year?
ReplyDelete"Stitchers" sounds like iZombie's plot line sorta. "Using the memories of the decease to solve their murder". Nonetheless I would be watching both.
ReplyDeleteIt's a remake of a spanish show, just like Red Band Society.
ReplyDeleteYeah.. decisions always best left till after you've checked the shows out.... or at least tried to in some cases (I always try to get to the end of the first episode before making a decision but haven't always succeeded, and sometimes I'll give a show a few more episodes to decided)
ReplyDeleteShannara? As in the series of books by Terry Brooks? That would make me very excited, but the MTV part of it scares me.
ReplyDeleteWhat does off cycle men for Home and is The Middle Men dead?
ReplyDeleteYou didnt add the CBS untitled legal drama that was recently picked up.
ReplyDeleteOff Cycle normally means that it's still in contention but not for the coming season. No news on Middle Men, but it's been pushed to a future pilot cycle.
ReplyDeleteThanks, added.
ReplyDeleteYou should add NBC pilot dramas Heart Matters and Unveiled
ReplyDeleteThey should already be in there. We added them this morning.
ReplyDeleteTry doing a CTRL-F5 to force a refresh of the table.
Chicago Med will air its backdoor pilot as part of Chicago Fire's third season this spring.
ReplyDeleteAre you happy with the orders so far? It feels very underwhelming to me so far. Maybe I will change my mind once the trailers and casting start to come in but so far... meh.
ReplyDeleteI think it's interesting that television seems to work on a cyclic way. After a great development season, there usually is a terrible one. It would appear to be the case here to some extent. This year certainly produced a huge amount of new hits and we aren't even done yet (Scorpion, NCIS New Orleans, Gotham, Empire, How to Get Away with Murder, Blackish, The Flash and even more moderate successes like Madam Secretary)
As far as pilots so far NBC's new pilots are much better than the ones they ordered last season (based solely on log line).
ReplyDeleteFox has some great pickups as well that sound really interesting. What I love about Fox's pickups is that they seem pretty compatible with their 2 biggest hits this season. Next fall will be very good for Fox IMO.
ABC and CBS are too soon to tell. In a week we'll have a better idea what direction both nets are going in next season.
Comedy overall will be bad again next season based simply on the log lines.
FOX is good yes. Scream Queens and Minority Report are both stuff I would be watching, but I had kind of forgotten about them since we've known about them for so long now.
ReplyDeleteAfter FOX, NBC does seem the most decent but that makes sense with my cyclical argument since they are the network having the worst season in terms of new shows. But then again, I don't think NBC even sounds that decent.
You are however right that it is too early to tell.
I'm the most excited about Fox's projects. I'll definitely check out Scream Queens, Minority Report, and Studio City. Their comedies are all duds, but even so I'm expecting a strong fall for them.
ReplyDeleteNBC is going all-in with conspiracy thrillers. It seems they are trying to bring back the "Blacklist-magic" to the network. I just hope they don't go overboard with it. For example the plot line for Endgame sounds like a great movie plot, but I don't think it would translate well into a 22 episode per season small screen show.
At ABC the only project that sounds promising so far is the family drama MIX. It sounds like the perfect show for Wednesday 10pm (maybe premiering behind an hour long episode of Modern Family?)
CBS, I have no idea what they are doing. There doesn't seem to be much flow between their pilots.
100 Grand at Fox looks interesting, as does Botcop. Otherwise not much of interest among their comedy development slate.
ReplyDeleteI hope ABC pick up Vamp, as that would do great for them on Mondays after DWTS.
That was never confirmed.
ReplyDeleteGo Jerrod Go? NBC needs to re-title that pilot.
ReplyDeletehttp://deadline.com/2015/01/chicago-med-chicago-fire-planted-spinoff-medical-drama-1201352095/
ReplyDeleteI don't watch comedies, but as far as drama goes there have been a few interesting ones. NBC has been pretty decent with some serialized thrillers standing out for me. I'm not very interested in medical dramas which have been pitched a lot. I'm looking forward to CW and CBS pilot orders since these are the networks I'm most invested in. And yes, I'm hoping for good casting news as well.
ReplyDeleteAs far as a cycle goes, comedy has been horrible this year but indeed there have been quite some hit dramas. Last year didn't have many hits so it's possible that next season there won't be many hit either.
Yeah I am also eager for the CW pilots. CBS had a very strong drama season for me this year (Madam Secretary, Stalker, Scorpion) so I am dubious that lighting will strike twice two years in a row but we shall see. But the ABC pilots have been very meh for me and that is the network I watch the most, hence my disappointment. However, it is probably too soon for this, I really need casting and more information about the shows.
ReplyDeleteAh, missed that.
ReplyDeleteSo it's been a few days now and I must say that I now agree with you: the pilot orders have been underwhelming. ABC hasn't gotten much interesting, and neither does CBS. The CW is a bit late, last year they ordered two pilots on 1/29, three more later on 1/29, and one on 2/4. I believe their pilot orders will come this week.
ReplyDeleteAm i the only one thinking on Matt Bomer for Sneaky Pete?
ReplyDeleteWasn't The Brainy Bunch developed last year?
ReplyDeletePilots(for now) I want to be picked up on CBS
ReplyDeleteDrama-Austen's Razor,Code Black,Limitless,Supergirl,Sneaky Pete and Rush Hour.
Comedy-Angel from Hell,Super Clyde,Taxi-22 and Joe Time.
On ABC
Comedy-The Brainy Bunch,Uncle Buck,NBA Comedy,Family Fortune and The King of 7B
Drama-Broad Squad,The Catch,Flesh and Blood,Kingmakers,Of Kings and Prophet,Quantico and Runner
wait in the world of Supergirl what is Superman doing? or is it in the future?
ReplyDeleteUnder NBC the Apocalypse Show is actually called:
ReplyDeleteApocalypse Slough
http://deadline.com/2015/01/rob-lowe-star-apocalypse-slough-sky-1201354029/
Thanks, I'll get it updated.
ReplyDeleteMost of these shows were in development last year.

ReplyDeletehttp://www.cnet.com/news/it-crowd-to-get-another-shot-at-a-u-s-remake/
Any further news on these?
I wish you would list dramas and comedies separately. I watch dramas and have no interest in comedies, so it is too much hassle to keep checking back for updates when I have to wade through all those shows I have no interest in.
ReplyDeleteI certainly hope not! I have been looking forward to Scream Queens, but American Horror Story is just too dark to even get through the previews.
ReplyDeleteGlee + American Horror Story
ReplyDeleteHi, can I ask why you're not tracking Hulu/Netflix/Amazon pilots as well? And there's also BitTorrents 'Children of the machine'. I know these aren't technically on TV but I feel like they should be included.
ReplyDeleteSimply down to time and resources. If we have more time and resources next season we may look to expand coverage.
ReplyDeleteDoes anybody know the chances of lfe (CBS) getting picked up? x
ReplyDeletePretty good I think. They were aggressively searching for a medical drama so I assume one of LFE, Austen's Razor or Code Black will be picked up.
ReplyDeleteAngel From Hell! I'm already on board!
ReplyDeleteThe list should stater which of these pilots are dramas and which are comedies, it's not always clear.

Are pilots being shown to audiences yet for testing? It will be interesting to find out which shows are getting positive reaction.
ReplyDeleteCan someone please name the supernatural shows? I only know about Dead People & Supergirl.
ReplyDeleteWarrior and Lucifer, too.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the status of Warrior?
ReplyDeleteDead.
ReplyDeletewhat happened to Take it from us - i thought it got a pilot order?
ReplyDeleteIt did. It was not picked up to series.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update!
ReplyDeleteWhere is The Astronaut Wives Club? I was searching for info on the new shows from 2014 to 2016 (since almost all I watch got axed) and noticed it wasn't neither in 2013 nor 2014-2015-2016.
ReplyDeleteIt's already been ordered to series. These are just for pilots that have yet to be ordered. You can find it in the Menu or via the dropdown in the sidebar.
ReplyDeleteHope that helps.
OK, thanks. So you remove them from this after it gets ordered?
ReplyDeleteAnd how can I find all that was picked up for all of this season, including cable shows? I want shows whose pilot aired in 2014 or will air this summer.
No we don't remove them. They are simply marked as Green. If you click on the 2015 tab, all the shows there in green are pilots that were then picked up.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info. I have found what I was looking for in Premiere Dates Calendar. I just have to check for the pilots only.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's just me but something a calendar like that just for pilots would be awesome. It's easy to find new shows for the broadcast channels but not for cable.
No problem :)
ReplyDeleteI think you might be getting a bit confused, I'm not sure, but reading your comment... Pilots won't have any date until they are ordered to series and the networks post their schedule etc.
The Premiere calendar will only have premieres dates for all shows that are ordered and on the schedule.
Also you might find the episode database useful. www.stvplus.com . It has all the airdates for all the 270+ shows we cover and for all episodes etc. It also has a simple calendar.
Hope that helps a little.
Yeah I didn't express myself well. Simply, I want new shows to watch so I am looking for pilots airing this year. I am using STVPlus+ to get the air dates. Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteThanks for making & keeping this up. The lists on this site are great!
ReplyDeleteSome more info about CBS' The Inspectors: It's filming now in South Carolina & will start airing in October. Stars Bret Green as Preston. Carlos Bernard (24) recurs as Preston's dad & will be directing at least one episode. Info/pictures from Twitter: @cbernardsbull & @realbretgreen (don't want to clog up the thread with pictures but they're both near to the top.)
Thanks for the extra info, nice one
ReplyDeleteWhen We Rise has my attention: I hope it turns out to be good, the better the representation of the LGBT community the closer we get to be recognized as full fleshed out humans beings rather than a punchline. (And yeah, I said 'we', no shame there)
ReplyDeleteSince all my shows I liked last year were cancelled I feel, not surprisingly, quite flat about all of these. Anything with a fantastical element will interest me, but I'm to holding my breath.
ReplyDeletewhat happened to CW shows?
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean?
ReplyDeleteI think that Counterpart from Starz is missing.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's been ordered to Pilot yet. I think it's still in development at the script stage, unless we missed the announcement?
ReplyDeleteOh ok. You are right.
ReplyDelete
