I don't think the spin off will occur, because it was in reference to Stephen Moyer announcing some future project...which now seems to be that he and Anna Paquin and another Hollywood Couple are bringing their production company to HBO with several projects lined up (including something that will star Denis O'Hare)...
However if they would spin it off, Harris new series Midnight, Texas (which I like a lot), would work wonders because it's clear now from that (along with another just previously released short story with Sookie and Manfred Bernardo) all of her works are set in the same universe...
Yeah I just read the Moyer article. Not clear what he meant. I 've never read those books but if it's more of the same I'm all for it! With all the great mythology there's a lot to show and tell!
Ya. Don't get me wrong, I would totally watch a spin off as long as a couple of the characters would eventually be featured. Like you said, there really is a lot of mythos to explore.
In the Midnight series there's a vampire that has an additional ability and new kinds of shifters are introduced, along with bringing pseudo-psychic Manfred from HCMS into the fold, Bobo Winthrop from Shakespear series, and we also meet a bubbly new age witch named Fiji with her interesting cat, Mr. Snuggly!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Don't end...pleaaassseeee :(
ReplyDeleteI just hope they wrap that fairy storyline up :/
Never read the books so no spoilers please. Is this 7th season enough to wrap up the books?
ReplyDeleteThey stop following the books in season 5 i think
ReplyDeleteOh thanks. You read them? Did the show turn out better or worse than the books?
ReplyDeletei havent, but a friend has and he said they did a pretty good job tho they didnt follow the books.. there are like 12 books or something like that
ReplyDeleteReally gonna miss this show, next summer will be weird without True Blood.
