The Vampire Diairies - [Spoiler] Confirms Exit?
May 9, 2014
Vampire Diaries
Thanks to mac for the heads up.
I'd be surprised if this was anything but a joke. LOL. I mean come on!
ReplyDeleteOMG, seriously? I don't watch the show, but that is a shocker!
ReplyDeleteSeriosuly? I gave up on the show during the beginning of this season but I never thought they'd kill off one of the brothers.
ReplyDeleteOh well, don't watch don't care ;p
If this isn't a joke, a lot of people are going to stop watching.
ReplyDeleteWhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa???
ReplyDeleteI haven't been a FAN fan for a few seasons now but this is... shocking. And hard to believe. I'll believe it when spoilers for season 6 leak.
It can't be true.... Right? :(
ReplyDeleteI hope this is a joke
ReplyDeleteOh. My. God. I was waiting to decide whether I was going to binge watch the season after it finished...now I know I'm not only not watching this season, I'm done with the show.
ReplyDeleteUnless they were lying about some of the ideas they had for the next season involving Stefan and Caroline, I don't think this is true.
ReplyDeleteI think this is exactly the kind of shake up TVD needs. Good for them if they are seeing this through
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure Paul is joking. He has a weird sense of humor. This show would be done if any of the main three truly died.
ReplyDeleteclearly a joke probably to do with him and enzo hense the zo at the end
ReplyDeleteDone zo is an actually term, it's slang for being completely done or finished with something
ReplyDeleteobviously it's a joke.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I thought..
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell!!!! Why are so many inportant lead stars done-zo, first Alison from Teen Wolf :(
ReplyDeleteHe's lieing,
ReplyDeleteThey've already confirmed that next season will explore the other side more and have implied that they would adapt 'The Return' trilogy.
The catalyst in that trilogy?
Stefan died.
That's actually a good point.
ReplyDeleteJust saw his verified twitter account. It's true. Good Luck to him. I am glad the writers are not re-casting. I am thinking that next season is gonna be the last season for Vampire Diaries. What do you all think?
ReplyDeleteNo he didn't.
ReplyDeleteActually wasn't that Elena who died?
ReplyDeleteIf this is for real, I'm out. So it's got to be a joke.
ReplyDeleteElena died in the 2nd book and rose as a vampire in the 3rd.
ReplyDeleteStefan 'died' in the 5th book and his soul was held in the Dark Dimension. The TV show replaced the Dark Dimension with The Other Side.
omg guys, Paul was joking, that's all :)
ReplyDeleteWell I'm done with this show.
ReplyDeleteI'm the only one who actually loves the risky decisions that the shows make, really
ReplyDeleteAnd if you like the show, you like it, if you don't you don't, so stop telling that you will stop watching the show for this.
But i actually think they're gonna bring him back, they don't have the b***s.
They'll bring him back. Damon would never be so calm in the promo if his brother was gone for good. Damon would be a wreck and a mess if he lost Stefan. And Elena would be bawling her eyes out.
ReplyDeleteHere's some logic about Stefan's death:
ReplyDeleteSo…if Paul is speaking the truth and Stefan
really is dead for good then there are some problems. Let’s look at this
logically.
1) It looks like in the promo that they’re going to
kill everyone within the town in order to try and save Stefan. Not sure
how that works exactly, but when has that ever stopped TVD? But if their
plan doesn’t work then everyone is just…dead?
2) There’s a still
of Damon, Caroline, and Elena standing over what is likely Stefan’s
corpse. If Stefan really is dead then Paul just revealed a HUGE spoiler
that they never would have allowed him to reveal ahead of time.
Seriously, they never would have allowed him to spoil that. That’s huge!
3)
It’s already been expressed that Caroline would be making a move on
Stefan next season. Unless they blatantly lied, which is entirely
possible but I don’t think very likely, then Stefan isn’t gone for good.
4)
Considering how much Paul loves the show, and is Captain of the great
ship Steroline, it seems odd that he would announce his departure in
such a flippant way. When most people depart a show they say something
about loving the time they had on it, and thanking the fans for
watching. He didn’t.
5) Paul really enjoys messing with the fandom. This is totally something he would lie about to amuse himself.
6)
Stefan is one of the most well liked characters on the show. Although
TVD has lead me to believe otherwise at times, I don’t think they’d be
stupid enough to kill off a character that would lose them a lot of
viewers.
We didn't know of the cure change or the Stefan/Silas doppel either. That's what I'm saying. JP is smart [give her that] she amasses viewers by a show run on shipping, she goes online and rallies them while it is airing to receive more ratings, she then complains about death threats and receives even more publicity. Maybe she learnt from her mistake with the cure change......the actors have been very loose toughie this season, especially Ian on air. It may not be hard filming two endings at the same time so no reshoots. I just think its a strong possibility. I mean how much strength does the triangle have now with DE firmly coupled and Stefan content, how much more can they stretch it.
ReplyDeletehe said done-zo for a pretty serious moment
ReplyDeleteTarot is correct. It's an expression that sorta fell out of the favor last century but its a expression 'Done-zo'. If this is the end for Stefan then good on the show for making such a big change. Its gonna open up a ton of story angles, finally get rid of the freakin triangle and possibly see even more changes to other characters (and thus more stories).
ReplyDeleteBut hey, if hes not 'dead' and just a ghost they might spend half of next season trying to get him back.
I'll believe it when I see it. Although I think Season 6 may take place in the Dark Dimension or whatever (from the books) and Stefan and another dead-character will be exploring it. I don't think Paul Wesley is actually off the show.
ReplyDeleteyes yes yes my sister kept thinking it was damon but I knew I god damn knew
ReplyDeletebut it is the Vampire diaries and people do come back, unless the actor has called it quits, looks like he might have
ReplyDeleteHe is done-zo today. No one said anything about tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteEverything you said right there. Paul is just trolling. When he died it didn't even fase me because I knew that this would be cleared up by next episode.
ReplyDeleteThat's why he said done-zo, as in Stefan and Enzo exploring it.
ReplyDeleteWhen they did confirm that? About exploring the other side? I thought I read that they were gonna get rid of the other side so that dead will be dead. I read that Joseph Morgan also confirmed about the other side being gone as well. And the said that this would make the stakes higher. I would like to read where you read about the other side being explored. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteWe know that already they are doing another season for the Originals. So magic will not be destroyed. Somehow the spell is gonna come undone. What if Stefan comes back as another person? Maybe that will be the way they all get to come back? Thoughts?
ReplyDeleteLies. There's been spoilers that Caroline is gonna make a move on Stefan next season.
ReplyDeleteWell, there were supposed to be three major character deaths at the end. So far we've had one - Stefan. Bonnie might be the second, which means someone else will have to die as well in the finale. I don't count Enzo as a major character death.
ReplyDeleteThe issue being on this show is that they have built magic up to such a powerful level ,with each witch more powerful than the last they they have dug this whole which they need to dig outta. Even if they manage to fix the other side Id like there to be a permanent reminder of such.
ReplyDeletePaul Wesley (or Ian - I forget) said that at the end of the season 2 characters will be in a new location. I think that means Stefan and another character will "die" and we'll see them on The Other Side making their way back to the land of the living at the start of next season.
ReplyDeleteI will pray to your logic.
ReplyDeletegetting bored I the show anyway, shows really should start having a end of series date, as sometimes the longer a show stays, the more weird it gets. I think all shows should get six seasons unless they become duds before six seasons.
ReplyDeleteNah! he is done for today' s episode!
ReplyDeletei believe he will live in a another body something like the Ghost whisperer situation, i dunno if you watched that show, and all the problems of being a doppleganger are done for him....
ReplyDeleteif that's true we are going to see a Katherine making her big way back from "Hell" and i would love to see that... all those things about "making their way back to the land of the living " reminds me of a book from the Caster Chronicles.
ReplyDeleteIt really depends on the writers. The top writer for this show - I've watched other shows of hers, and they all go downhill after a while.
ReplyDeleteKilling off Stefan would put an add to the love triangle that never quite dies. So I'm good with that.
ReplyDeleteIf this is not a joke, I'm gonna be pissed. Or maybe not, this show is beyond salvation, killing one of the few steadily decent characters shouldn't surprise me.
ReplyDeleteI used to like Stefan, so I prefer him dead than dealing with Blonde obsession.
ReplyDeletewhen he don't come back.. i'm officially done with this stupid show..!
ReplyDeleteyeah, it's a joke.. -.- come on people. he will be back in season 6
ReplyDeleteElena's death would be cool :D
ReplyDeletethis Other Side thing with Stefan and Enzo.. this is exactly when Dean (SupNat) was on the Purgatory with Ben
ReplyDeleteWow. I quit TVD 2 years ago, so I don't care, but I'm really surprised by this. I was pretty sure the main trio is unkillable, barring the series finale. Are we sure Paul isn't trolling the fandom? He seems like the type of person who would do that.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if there are a lot of Stelena fans who'll make their wrath known by quitting the show, thus causing ratings to plummet next season.
Wow, OK. If this is it for Stefan than I won't be watching anymore, I only tuned back in for Steroline.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the memories Paul. Good luck on future endeavors
ReplyDeleteIt was shocking for sure but it didn't faze me that much. I swear I have read before that the main three all had contracts for a 6th season. He may stay dead but he'll be on the show!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure he's joking. As far as I know, it's Damon who is going to die in the Other Side's final moments. Stefan is dead right now, but there's no guarantee that he'll stay that way. There's a short window of time left to bring him back. I still stand by my decision to wait and see what happens in the finale and not jump to any conclusions.
ReplyDeleteThey all had contracts for six years, and it looks like Michael Trevino at least is leaving the show. He even said once that he was surprised he lasted as long as he did. People are overestimating legal documents that were reported on the internet by bloggers who never read these documents. Only those who have drafted and read the contracts can say for sure whether the actors have to stay on the show. The entertainment industry is risky, and actors are always looking for work because no role is permanent.
ReplyDeletewtf no no no no
ReplyDeleteOMG!, i hope you're right lol
ReplyDeleteI dont think Paul would be insensitive about his character's death. I think the whole "other side" crumbling will be resolved and have Stefan (and hopefully Kol) return
ReplyDeletenow Stefan and Katherine can be together forever in nothingness.
ReplyDeleteHe's clearly trolling.
ReplyDeleteBTW I'm curious what happened with Stefan in the book?
ReplyDeleteIn this interview the Producer DRIES stated: The Other Side component was our desire to get rid of the Other Side. We want it so that, moving forward, when characters die, they’re dead.
ReplyDeleteRead more at http://collider.com/ian-somerhalder-vampire-diaries-interview/#MZeRK8XUqmu2AP2I.99
So with producer Dries stating the other side is gonna be rid of for good, if Stefan is gonna stay perhaps he is gonna try to cross over before the other side is gone completely?
ReplyDeleteAccording to Stefan Salvatore wikipedia page he's now part of the Ghost Species lol
ReplyDeleteStefan Salvatore
Ghost (2014-present)
Vampire (1864–2014)
Doppelganger (1847–1864)
I hope he is really dead, the whole bringing back people from death thing makes the whole death not serious...
ReplyDeleteYes, they will let the other side go, but before, I'm pretty sure they will bring some faces back. Like Alaric, Lexie (she's still very involved with the show), the young Mikaelson (cause we need more Originals for the spin off), Stefan (duhhh) Bonnie (duhhhh), Enzo (just cause) and maybe one or two villains... I still think Katherine has become a little devil though.
ReplyDeleteThe spell is a goner already, that's why Julian killed Stefan.}
ReplyDeleteBy the way... Can we keep Julian? *_* That's the only way I can keep Travino on the show.
Honestly, didn't you like Travino as Julian. I did. I hope they keep him as Julian, as well. I think his acting was better as Julian. My opinion.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone considered the idea that maybe Damon dies in the finale in order to bring Stefan back? I mean it kind of make sense. When Damon finds out that Stefan is dead he will probably think that he deserved to die more than Stefan. And there has been some buzz going around that says that Ian wants to leave.
ReplyDeleteExactly!!! He was tolerable, he wasn't being cocky, or insufferable, he was even funny, and smart, and he did kill Stefan very ease, when everyone that ever tried went the wrong way about it. I mean, wouldn't had been a smart move for enzo to get Stefan's heart as well and then pulled himself, killing two birds with a stone? That would had sent Damon in a frenzy!!! Loved loved loved Julian!!!
ReplyDeleteWTF?!?! Why didn't Damon snap Marco's neck as soon as Marco said he was transfused w/doppelgänger blood? Then Marco would be Vampire & not want to stop magic! (Vampirism worked on Sloan) or Tyler-Julian could have snapped Marco's neck (instead of just "trying" to bite him) Tyler has super hearing & knew that! Plus I hope Damon feels like crap bcuz he gave Tyler-Julian the key to unlock himself which ultimately lead to his brothers (Stephans) death. If Tyler-Julian was still locked up, Stephan would still be alive! IM DEVASTATED! I thought of a witch making rings for everyone to come back but tooooo many holes. Wouldn't work. JULIE PLEC THERE HAS GOT TO BE A WAY TO BRING STEPHAN BACK?!?! PLEASE DONT DESTROY MY SHOW!
ReplyDeleteI am almost positive that Julie Plec, or one of the other EPs, said in an interview last season that the plan was always to only do six seasons. If I recall correctly she said that's all they had outlined story wise since creating the series.
ReplyDeleteI really think they should use this plot to start an "Age of Ghosts", changing the dynamics and getting rid of Mystic Falls for good (at least this last one seems to going to happen). There's no way they could keep put mythological links in that town, we can't buy it anymore.
ReplyDelete
