    Same here the show sounds awesome but I'm beginning to think that this show won't be very good and that once we do get a promo with actual people its going to be a let down.

    The thing is: are they being purposefully vague so as not to reveal the plot? because it's too complex to summarize in a 10 seconds spot? Or is it just that they have nothing to show? Or that they are hiding it's total crap?

    "The Austin-based ATX Television Festival (June 5-8), the first festival dedicated to the TV binger in all of us, announced Tuesday it would host the world premiere of Guillermo del Toro’s heavily anticipated FX drama series The Strain. FX Networks has partnered with ATX for closing night programming."
    I guess trailer will come June 8th at the latest.

    They've done the same with American Horror Story. The Strain will premiere in July, so first trailer with actual footage might be released next month.
