  1. SO excited now! If only they could get Elizabeth Mitchell too now that she's free! XD

  2. After I realized how much Revolution was gonna be utterly mediocre I have always resented them for having Elizabeth Mitchell, I really hope she gets her own show soon. Loved her in V (aside from Lost obviously).

  3. That would be great! I'm going to miss Elizabeth Mitchell now that Revolution is over. I'd even settke for Evangeline Lilly...

  4. One of the many things I liked about the original is the amount of great female characters, which I hope they keep in the remake. Pellegrino is an interesting actor.

  6. I was so excited about this version, but Mark Pellegrino again? Really? That's the best they come up with? He's a good actor, bla bla bla, but he is everywhere. CW (two shows), ABC, NBC, CBS, Syfy... I'm gonna have to pass it.

  7. Yeah Elizabeth Mitchell was being wasted on Revolution, her character was annoying and basically pointless in season 2.

  8. I liked Revolution. The second season was way better than the first IMO, but I do think Kripke and gang didn't really follow through on developing a lot of the female characters and/or in Rachel's case, didn't really give her own belief system any real weight on screen, as there seems to be a misadventures theme, rather than seeing something truly progressive, like in other Bad Robot works....

But now that it's over, I agree, I would love to see her in something really really good. Even a small role on POI I think would be a fun treat, let alone something more significant on any other good or potentially good show! :)

  9. It would be cool to see Evangeline Lilly back on TV, but I think she and Matthew Fox have said that they weren't planning on it and would rather stick to film...

  10. Ya, but he never gets lead roles!

  11. I do wish they'd STOP remaking versions of foreign shows like this. The French series is superior, and already played on American TV, so I just don't get the point--It's so un-creative!

  12. 10 episode cable series on A&E. The original had several terrific roles for females. Evangeline Lilly would be crazy to turn down a good part in a quality cable drama.

  13. Well, it's not like her big screen carrer is booming, so she should at least consider doing something for TV again. That said, I would take anyone from Lost, Rebecca Mader, Maggie Grace, anyone (I'm leaving Emile de Ravin out because of OUaT, but I'd like to see her on a lead). I just want a small reunion, LOL.

  14. I disagree. There are some things that I think are culturally hard to get across from one culture to another, where I think adapting it to another kind of cultural equivalent and taking it into a somewhat different direction can be interesting and creative.

The Bridge I think is a really good example.

In this case I think Resurrection is like a pg-rated, melodramatic, and kind of distant relative to the original series from what I can tell, which is fine, but I think Cuse and the other producers/writers can get us closer to the original series, but yet have it be more relatable to American audiences. If Bates Motel is any consultation, then I think this will be a pretty good adaptation. They somehow found a way to keep Hitchock's atmospheric aspects, but yet make it more of a really good twisted family drama.
