    It looks like Klaus is there for the birth but the witches take the child and Elijah comes in and finds Klaus.

    That is the most frustratingly vague promo for this show I have ever seen. Why can't next Tuesday be here already???

    I hope they realize that if they take the baby, Klaus and and Elijah are going to go on the warpath. They've kinda been holding back. And if Rebekah came back unexpectedly they would be even more screwed.

    I personally think something's going to happen to Hayley. Maybe after she gives birth they kill her or something.

    Just think, Elijah tore every vampire in the quarter a new one and it was a pretty casual thing and he was calm. Imagine what he'd do if he was pissed. We've never seen it. Much less both. We kind of saw Klaus pissed off when he took on the vampire army but definitely not in the same way.


    I don't think Hayley will die. She is like the only female on the show besides Cami. I have a feeling Gen and the others will have short lifespans going in to next week. Davina is there too but still.

    I think both Hayley and the child will survive, maybe they'll go into hiding for some time. I think Genevieve will be the one who saves them in the end because she was good in the past and is feeling really guilty so maybe she'll be the one to run off with the baby until it's older...and then return to NO. Plus, I don't understand how the witches plan on killing off the baby, it's supposed to be an inmortal being even more powerful than Klaus and they don't have the white oak stake.

    Yeah it looks like Elijah is reaching out to Klaus. And Hayley and the baby are gone. The witches pushed Klaus against the wall and they take off. I don't see Hayley there. This must be the start of the next weeks episode and from the entire finale will be out Klaus and Elijah saving Hayley and the baby before the sacrifice.

    I don't think Hayley will go into hiding with the child because she's going to be a regular for Season 2 so they're obviously not writing her out.

    The baby isn't immortal/dead - it's a living being.

    Yeah, I think you are probably right about Hayley, but I am not so sure about the child though. It's already shown healing abilities when Tyler attacked Hayley and it supposed to be the fist of its own kind and, according to the mythology, the originals can't die so I'm really intrigued about how it's going to that out.

    The Witches, Mikael, the werewolves, two of those things will go wrong and only one willr emain for next season my guess is, Davina complete teh spell and bring back Mikael but i kind of dont want him, it will be repeating themselves...


    The promo looks like he is tehre for teh birth but teh witches will take Klaus down too easily now that he is suffering i guess the witches move Hayley to the cementery to complete the ritual and that's when Elijah enter s the church when they have already taken her there.

    I think you may be on to something. I feel like Davina is going to raise Mikhail, which will lead to the cliffhanger of the season. Klaus and Elijah will recommend that Hayley go into hiding with the baby until they are able to deal with Mikhail. This would be a huge sacrifice for Klaus, as he will be thinking of the welfare of his child and his child's mother.

    I am wondering if anyone else is bothered about how powerful the witch faction has become? I feel like the power balance amongst all the factions is bit out of whack. The Originals are supposed to be the most powerful, yet....it would seem that the wolves and witches are.

    Also did anyone find that it was implausible for the wolves to draw power from Klaus, based on a spell that used a bit of his blood? Seems so strange, to me at least. I think the shows writers need to keep the changing of the mythology in check.....its frustrating.

    So do I, and I'm looking forward to it because I think Mikael it's a great villain, a much better adversary than Marcel, much more powerful and scary. Marcel never had a chance against The Originals and I'm getting tired of him, after all he has done he should be dead by now. About the child, I think there's certainly going to be a twist maybe Genevieve will save it, or Hayley will leave with the wolves to protect it or maybe Mikael will kidnap it to make Klaus suffer...I can't wait to see what happens in the finale.
