    Of course Finn isn't Alicia's lover. This is just promo misleading us again. I mean, I coule maybe buy that Alicia would have some mindless "grief-curing" sex with a random guy (although... not really Alicia but grief does weird things) but Finn is a real guy who could have a real relationship with her. And after Will's death it's too early for any romantic attachments to form. So the SA is trying to rile Peter, knowing how jealous he is, and this is going to get ugly because Peter is even more protective than jealous and "talking trash" about a guy's wife isn't likely to end well.

    There isn't a question of if Alicia is sleeping with Finn it not, we all know she isn't. This is about how the other campaign is spinning their friendship. A lot of people commented on how inappropriate they thought it was of Finn to go see Alicia at her house and even enter get bedroom, though she told Zack to let him in. I guess all their behaviour is being spinned against them. If it wasn't in her mind that she could have an affair with Finn, it is now though.

    I agree. The way this mess will be handled by the state's attorney, Peter and Eli will simply plant the seed for Alicia and Finn. I believe that up to that point they only thought of each other as friends. I don't think anything will happen between them during the episode or the finale, but I believe that they'll get a chance to have a more private chat about their lives, to open up a little more. Alicia might tell Finn about her marital agreement with Peter, Finn might open up about his marriage (is his marriage solid? is he perhaps going through separation?) so the will get closer and that's the way the seed will be planted.

    She was separated, not yet divorced but in a marriage limbo.
    Also Finn didn't gave that kind of vibe, specially when he talked about how he and his wife lost a child due to an abortion. The writers might go that route, but they need to build it up and so far they haven't. And the writing in the Good Wife is usually solid, they don't jump in those kind of things.

    ITA. Finn doesn't give off the vibe that he'd cheat on his wife. He's essentially "the good guy", perhaps what Alicia used to be before the scandal.
    His wife lost a child due to a miscarriage, which is very different from an abortion (if you will, an abortion today is a chosen miscarriage within strict parameters of time and process and within a sterile, medical setting. In the past, it used to mean a dangerous, unsanitary process where you risked your life. A miscarriage is a desired foetus who dies in the womb for unknown reason, or is expelled from it.)
    But if you read comment board, they're all already talking about romantic interests for Alicia and the promo plays off that. :-(

    I agree this is going to be a professional/political issue, with Finn's race next year - did Peter endorse the "wrong" candidate? Will the current SA retaliate against someone, especially if Finn loses?
    I think Finn being allowed into Alicia's bedroom was just a way to signify "Alicia is in such horrible shape she can't even make it to the kitchen or the living room" where so many of her professional encounters have taken place. The fact they showed her without make up, in stay-at-home clothes, conveyed the same thing. Plus, that Alicia does not see Finn as a man but just as a client/professional.

    Sorry, English is not my first language and abortion is used for both in my language...


    I think the romantic interest was in the previous episode (episode 20), where they tried to open the door to something and test the waters with Alicia, but Alicia wasn't ready.


    Also Alicia, someone that was cheated on, I don't think she would go that route with Finn, with having him cheating on his wife.

    when she was ill and in mourning over Will's death. However it would have been in the middle of the day.
    I think right now Alicia and Finn are friends, like buddies. Apparently Finn sees no problem in calling Alicia to get her opinion or shows up at her place.
