    While I enjoy most of the characters the mother is what keeps me coming back. I still think one of the funniest episodes is the school clothes one, she was borderline psychotic but it was so funny.

    There were only 3 comedies that came out of the 2013-14 batch I really liked. The Millers, Brooklyn 99 & THE GOLDBERGS.
    Excited that this will be back.

    I actually think all 6 Goldbergs are excellently written characters. But yes, Beverly is what usually makes the plots work best. Her over-bearing smothering works so well.
    The most recent 1 with Barry wrestling when she takes him down at the gym had me nearly in tears from laughing so hard.

    I like The Millers, but really I only think its the 3rd best comedy of the year. Goldbergs & Brooklyn 99 are 1 & 1A.
