We will be seeing a lot more of tech wiz Aram on NBC’s The Blacklist next season. Amir Arison, who recurred on the breakout drama’s first season as the slightly awkward and witty FBI technician, is being promoted to regular for Season 2.

Yay! I love Aram.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
ReplyDeletenice so he should get more screen time
ReplyDeleteCool. I like Aram and I loved the money transfer scene he had with Red. I hope Red continues to freak him out next season as well.
ReplyDeleteSaw this coming, still a little sad about Meera.
ReplyDeleteI expected it too but I wonder if they will add someone new to the cast later on for CIA angle
ReplyDeleteI am too but after she crossed paths with Red during his mole hunt, The Blacklist gave the character absolutely nothing to do for the rest of the season.
ReplyDeleteI agree, I wish they hadn't given her the role of sidekick.
ReplyDeleteYep, I'm thinking the same.
ReplyDeleteI don't see another CIA agent coming in to replace her. There really wasn't much of a CIA angle to begin with. The only time the agency came into play was on a handful of occasions when someone wanted Meera to use her 'contacts.'
ReplyDeleteIt turned out that Meera being CIA wasn't that important. She just happened to be someone employed by the CIA. The important part was that she was inserted into the task force by Diane Fowler
Though I think they will add another agent to fill the hole Meera left.
ReplyDeleteMaybe but she was used so seldomly that they could create one or more recurring characters to fill her spot if the task force needs an extra person.
ReplyDeleteMore of this sexy Israeli beast is a very good thing *lick*
ReplyDeleteBrilliant news.
ReplyDeleteBesides the occasional comedy laced monologue from Red it was Aram that provided the occasional laughs in the show.
I'm glad. I like him.
ReplyDeleteYes!!! I really like Aram :)
ReplyDeleteI don't think another character is necessary. The truth is Malik was a bit pointless except for the couple of episodes where the mole hunt was happening.
ReplyDeleteyea mostly not necessary, but if the numbers will get bigger problems, then they will need more people to do work in different locations at once, like when Liz is flying elsewhere with Red. Can't have poor Ressler go in enemy doors alone.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Meera's character wasn't really developed and had I didn't like the actress, I don't know if I would've noticed her being there..
ReplyDeleteThis had to happen, of course, as he was in almost every episode in season 1 (only Hisham Tawfiq aka Dembe was in more episodes). And while I like his character, he should get out of the bunker more. Maybe with Meera gone, here's hoping that he will.
ReplyDeleteI figured if Liz gets into a new relationship on the show it'll be with Ressler.
ReplyDeleteNice we will see more of him! wonder who will they cast as new agent?
ReplyDeleteGreat news! He is such a good character!
ReplyDeleteAwesome I love his character!
ReplyDeleteWhich means he'll have more time on screen before they kill him horribly since killing series regulars is the 'edgy' thing to do.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I know Liz won't be with him, but I think TPTB will include some akward dialogues next season.
