Even During the torture; when Bellamy first started torturing Lincoln he thought it would only take a little to make him "talk" But Linc didn't, and as the torture went on he was actually NOT wanting to continue. Watch it again, Bellamy's "gusto" towards the torture changed. Seeing Octavia get the information out of Linc as easily as she did bothered him as well. Not to mention the disdain she showed him. Bellamy is a good guy- he just doesn't know it yet- he's had a chip (O & Mom) on his shoulder for a very long time - it will take him time to remove it..... possibly with the help of Clarke? That being said, will Linc too come around ?
*I Enjoy This Show! *It's a very interesting twist on the "Lord of the Flies." *The character developments are finally getting the backgrounds we need! *Wondering just how long it will take for more to make it to Earth --- AND Just how Many will? *Grounders: we invade their territory - but they are Our enemies ---AND are they the only Grounders or are there many more groups? *Please don't drag out the Finn/Raven/Clarke triangle....for some reason shows drag them on forever and that does get old.
Bellamy really did not want to torture the Grounder. His whole facial expression during it was heartbreaking to watch. He kept looking to Clarke for guidance and support. She asked him to do it. And now, both of them will have to live with it. They both had to do whatever they could to save Finn. There wasn't any other option. He never would have told them the correct medicine.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteIn the Grounder's defense, he did not kill them. Other grounders. He actually tried to save them. I can't wait for this episode :)

Am looking forward to seeing t'nite ep!
He didn't try to save them. He only cares about Octavia. He only used the horn because he didn't want the other grounders to find Octavia.
ReplyDeleteNothing like an old fashioned Glasgow kiss to silence a mouthy teenager.
