So lately I’ve been engaging a lot with some of the writers of The 100 by using twitter, and through that interaction something became quite clear: they are trying to make the best show possible.
That seems like an obvious statement that could be said about any writer, but the thing is that The 100 isn’t merely trying to be good, it’s doing the best it can to standout as a whole. As such, through the run of its first season it has become CW’s darkest drama, but it has also been able to sway in the right amount of hope so that the show itself doesn’t feel bleak. It has been a great job in my opinion and one that shows how much the cast and crew care for this series, how much they want to make it the best thing on TV if possible.
I think one of the better aspects of The 100 is how complex their characters have become through time: when the show started I remarked Clarke as a stereotypical heroine and both Bellamy and Kane were the obvious villains. Through the run of the season the tables have been turned, and all of these people have shown others aspects of themselves; Bellamy and Kane’s guilt brought the better of them and through hardship Clarke went from heroine to soldier. There’s no one in this show that you can call a hero or a villain, except maybe Diane who we know little of.
Just think about the scenes in which Clarke is forced to try heal Anya’s daughter; that kid has been taught to fight and has killed people (and has been praised for it). That’s horrible, but considering how the grounders desperately need to train their kids to fight among them it’s understandable that it happens. The 100 are stocking weapons so that they can kill grounders, but that’s because they need to defend themselves. There is no right or wrong here, we can’t say which one is right because it’s all a matter of perspective.
By abducting Clarke and Finn the episode found a way to go inside the grounders’ mind; they have reasons to fight and they have been through so much pain that they got to the point where they will take any measures necessary to keep themselves alive, may it be train their children to kill or anything like that. And as The 100 represent a threat to them, they are ready to take them down, but the show has made a statement through these last 4 episodes: they are doing this in order to survive.
In the end Clarke is unable to save Anya’s daughter, a moment which left me a bit shocked since I didn’t know how the situation could be resolved without falling apart completely. And then Anya ordered that Finn would be killed. Though I’m not counting Finn out just yet The 100 is a show that is not afraid of disposing characters (remember Wells?) and if Finn dies I’m going to be amazed, but I don’t think he will. Either way, it’s great that the show found itself in the position to make both scenarios possible, in any other show we would be completely sure that Finn would make it through, but in this one? Who knows!
Now, I would like to take a moment to talk about Bob Morley’s performance.
Bellamy has quickly become my favorite character: he is conflicted, he has made right and wrong calls all the same, he has been selfish and unselfish, and as such he has proved to be a very complex character, one that could be a hero or a villain at any given time. I’d say he’s more like an anti-hero, he doesn’t have the high morals like Clarke did in the beginning- which are now mostly shut down- and he does what needs to be done. But he isn’t happy making the hard calls, the decisions he makes hunts him, and that’s where Bob Morley has done a superb job. He has been able to portray Bellamy as a real person, not just a character, it feels like Bellamy could exist beyond the screen and that is mostly by how real the display of emotions go.
In this episode we get to see a more laid back version of Bellamy, one that just give the usual orders and then just stays around in camp. He connects with Raven- who is really pissed after her break up with Finn- and they end up hooking up. While this may bother some people who don’t like romantic entanglement I would like to say that this is probably just a one night stand, nothing beyond that, and it makes sense considering all the tension they are going through, and both Bob Morley and Lindsey Morgan sell it as such.
So, what’s going on in The Ark? Things are looking quite bleak, oxygen is running low and Kane must look for survivors while also find a way to fix the air problems. This is the first time we see Kane acting like a fully fleshed hero, which is nice considering the transformation he has gone through ever since The Ark found out that The 100 were still alive.
I was really amazed by how much sense it made for Kane to act so heroically, as if he was trying to redeem for all the 320 deaths he caused. His determination to save Jaha and how everyone with him helped him move the rubble was one of those moments in which the show sways in hope for the human race in just about the right timing.
Also impressive: when Kane goes through the air ducts the visuals are surprisingly good, just by looking him go through them I could almost feel the heat on my face, which made his effort all the more satisfying once he managed to fix the air on the other side and save lots of people, including Abby, who seems to have escaped the dropship just in the right timing.
The episode ends with a cliffhanger: Clarke escapes the grounders- by killing one with no hesitation!-, but she is caught again, Finn could be dead or alive and Monty suddenly disappeared. There are many things going on and it seems like they are ready to explode in the finale.
The start of the episode felt a little bit sluggish, to be honest, but it fixes it quite quickly and everything comes together nicely by the end of it.
Grade: A-
Now just a little comment about the love triangle thing: Whenever I see someone complain about the show, this is the issue that standout the most. While I’m not a fan of love triangles, it doesn’t bother me as long as it isn’t the main force that drives the narrative, and in this show it doesn’t. It just happens, it is there, but the main concerns of the characters is to survive not who slept with who, that mostly occurs in isolated moments.
Stray Observations:
-Miles: “Haven’t really got a chance to hang with you guys much. Hey, do you even know how I got arrested in The Ark?”
Finn: “I’m dying to hear about it.”
Honestly I was a bit worried by the way Miles was introduced, it reminded me of Nikki and Paolo from Lost, but it doesn’t seem like Miles is staying for long, and if he does… well, it seems like he would make a good comic relief.
-Wick (the guy Kane found first): “What a bitch! My mom voted for her!”
That was such a great line I had to put it here.
-Is there anything Raven can’t do? This week she and Monty built radios. That’s quite impressive.
-I could hear Bellarke’s fans scream when Bellamy and Raven hooked up. Don’t worry, as stated this is only a one time thing (probably).
-Do you think we’ll see Lincon for the finale?
-It’s interesting that Clarke has become a valuable asset for the grounders, I imagine they are going to try find every possible way to make her cooperate. Things are getting really interesting.
-So, what if what fell to the ground and exploded wasn’t the dropship but a piece of The Ark and Diana is still kicking around somewhere? If so, all hell will break loose in season 2!
-Last but not least: I’ve been tweeting a lot about how The 100 deserves an emmy nomination. While this may seem farfetched considering there are far more perfected shows out there (GoT, Mad Men, The Good Wife, among others) I think the show has broke a lot of ground and has done some excellent writing and some top notch performances (Bob Morley mostly). So while I believe it won’t be nominated, I do hope that someday along its run it could be. The fact that it is a genre show and that it airs in The CW goes against it, but there’s hope that this one might be the show that makes it, eventually, because as I said above, these guys are doing the best to standout, and so far the freshman season has done so. The show is just a couple of steps of reaching out the big leagues, it just need some more time to win the heart of some more critics. (Interesting to note: it seems this is the only show the CW has remarked as “critically acclaimed”, which is a very good thing).
I really hope you're right that it was only a ONE night stand between Bellamy and Raven. Fans were really upset on twitter on Wednesday. It just seemed so random and out of the blue. And they haven't even interacted much at all.
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm a Bellarke fan. So I'm biased. And I can honestly say that this episode was really difficult to watch for most Bellarke fans. Understandably so.
I feel like episodes 12 and 13 are going to be more epic and bigger. Even the tv promo looked amazing for episode 12 with Bellamy giving a huge speech. So I'm looking forward to the next 2 episodes the most. But I honestly just want to forget that episode 11 happened. I've been happy/satisfied with episodes 1 -10. But episode 11? Just an episode I want to forget.
Thanks for the review! I can't wait till next week's new episode!!!!
I agree with you on everything, I think. Specially with the fact that it's a great thing that we can never say we're sure someone will make it to the next season, though it is kind of emotianally exhausting if you're invested in the characters, which I am.
ReplyDeleteI love character development, specially Clarke's because I usually love when the moraly correct have to find ways to survive even if they're not pretty (they make the most balanced leaders) and this episode I love how Clarke kicked ass when she killed the grounder.
I do feel like I need to point out how forced Stevie Talley's character was, I felt like he was trying to create an atmosphere all the time and stopped the scenes in the ark from really flowing (the ones he's in of course).
Otherwise you're english looks pretty great to me but I'm not sure I'm the best judge since english is not really my language either. Thanks for taking the time to write this great article. Can't wait for the final episodes!
I don't think that one night stand should be enough to want to forget an episode, the idea is that there is a plot and there are characters interacting through out it's development. If the only reason one watches a show is for the shipping then it's a pitty, I'm thinking about the writers taking all that time to make an amazing show (whih I think it is) and then just watching the fans fight each other because some want this pairing or the other one, I think this show is worth watching as an overall production and not as a box that contains this couple and that other one.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by and commenting!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm 95% sure it was a one night stand, Raven even seemed disgusted the next morning, while Bellamy was like "oh great, now what?". It didn't seem like they had feelings for each other at all
Thank you for your kind words! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd teah, Wick (Stevie Talley) seemed a little bit forced, but I thought that half way through the episode things started to flow quite well, besides it always helps that he got some really good lines along the way
Agree. Agree. Agree! And it seems that show runner Jason Rothenberg does too since he tweeted the link to your review!

Hello There,
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if I am posting this in the correct place, if not maybe someone can move it or pint me in the right direction.
I had such high expectations for this show, I loved the concept, the brilliant young cast well just everything in general but then it started and everything just fell apart. The editing, make-up and set design are just unbearably horrific. Lets start with the obvious, think about this now, it's been 100 years and some people have been living on a Space Station and others on earth (the "grounders") but yet every single person on the show has Perfect White Teeth and everyone is well groomed including the women's under-arms, legs and make-up. Not cool at all!
In one of the first episodes when they were swinging on a "vine" across the water, the camera zoomed in tight to whoever was holding the vine in their hand at the time and you clearly saw the MANILA 3-STRAND ROPE spray painted green to match the vines. Then comes the one where they located the "bomb-shelter".. The "bomb-shelter" mind you that was only secured by a set of every day metal cellar doors and that was covered/hidden by some fresh cut Hay/Straw and located pretty much in the open by some ruins, you could never make anyone believe that the "grounders", being there for 100 years never stumbled upon those unblemished cellar doors.
Please tell me that I am not the only one that is bothered by these things. The list goes on and on, I have only mentioned a few. The editor and set designer should be fired.
Great review. I agree, I think the show's ability to flesh out the characters and keep us guessing is amazing. When the show first started, I hated Clarke and some of the other characters because it all seemed so cliche, but then they fleshed them out and we got alot of surprises.
ReplyDeleteI kind of hope Finn lives, but the show has proven they aren't afraid to kill off main characters at any moment.
I am curious to see where it all goes. The Ark's future looks bleak. And those on the ground don't have it easy.
Most people here will agree that they are here for the story not minute details. But yes I get you point, and I seen some of this, but I'm not gonna let that stop me from watching this.
ReplyDeleteGreat review, I so agree that the plot of the story is amazing, you have to see the show as a whole. Dismissing an episode just because of ships seems like an insult to the writers and producers of the show. The characters are evolving which is fantastic. Actors can only be outstanding if they get good lines. They bring a character to live, but it has to be in the script. Kane was more than great. Clarke's turn was beautiful played and Bellamy could shine too. It was great to see, that even tough he is not romantically attached to Raven, he cared about her when Raven thought Clarke and Finn were dead. His character has changed so much from the pilot.
ReplyDeleteI am starting to worry about all my characters, because I don't want anybody to die. Did anybody see the promo for the UK again, which link Ricky Whittle put on Twitter yesterday? Apparently it is out there since January, I saw it again and now I am really worried about Raven.... I won't say more, if you want to know watch it, I hope I am wrong.
Very good review, I thought this show was bad at the first few episodes. Then we started to see characters' complexity and pilots of each episode are getting better and better. And to be honest for me Clarke and Bellamy's dynamic made the show. It added new aspects to both Clarke and Bellamy which was a big plus because I couldn't like any character at the first few episodes. They were sort of cliche characters and boring. Not to mention I kind of got a cheesy cliche teen romance vibe from this show. At the moment I'm fan of Bellamy character and I'm team bellarke but not just in a romantic way. I'm cool if they never get together at all. I liked the way they rule together and that they respect each other's opinions. And I didn't start this show for bellarke. I started for the premise and bellarke just happened. Main focus imo should be pilots but at the starf of episodes or at the end of the episodes little romantic moments wouldn't kill. This goes for all characters like Jasper-Octavia-Raven-Finn-Monty...
ReplyDeleteAs for Clarke with her first kill in cold blood in this episode Clarke is getting more and more interesting. That boring cliche good girl image in the first few episodes completely changed as we get to know her character more. Obviously if they improve the presenting (like make-up, atmosphere, world design...) this show has the potential to be one hell of a show. And of course they should kill characters. Otherwise what's the point of watching a survival show if I feel like no is going to die?
I'm not a fan of love triangles, squares, hexagons etc. mainly because they've been done to death on TV now. Also, most of them are very poorly written and dragged out way too long to the point that you don't care about anyone involved.
ReplyDeleteAs far as The 100 goes they've managed to write the triangle quite well. Clarke and Finn's intense connection has happened a little fast but the circumstances are pretty extreme so it's not so unbelievable that their emotions are on overdrive. Also Finn's relationship with Raven, born out of another set of extreme situations, is well written in that you got a sense that it was more than just a romantic relationship but not necessarily in a good way. It felt a bit like Finn felt a responsibility to Raven rather than actually loving her.
My problem with the romantic entanglements though is really how it affects the fans. The first few weeks of this show was fine, everyone was talking about what was actually happening on the show. The last few weeks though a lot of the discussion has descended into "shipper" talk. I get why people "ship" Bellamy and Clarke but the fact of the matter is it's not happening on screen. What we have gotten is two very different people who hated each other at the start find some common ground, start to respect each other and trust each other and move towards having some sort of stable relationship (in the true sense of the word, not in the romantic sense). What you get in the comments though is people reading their own wants into everything. On another site this week I actually saw someone suggest Bellamy slept with Raven as a substitute for Clarke and that's why Raven was upset after, because she knew even Bellamy wanted Clarke instead of her!!! That's just insulting to everyone involved with the show.
As pointed out in this review the writers are working very very hard to make this show a great show. They have created a realistic characters with depth and flaws and emotions and heart and they have weaved a story and created a world to stage it in that all feels very real and plausible. Why insult that by making it up for yourself? I understand on some shows, OUAT for example, the writing is a mess and at some point the only way you can even follow what's happening is to make it up yourself. That is not the case on this show and that's the main reason I flinch at the thought of love triangles and any kind of hook ups. I said in the episode poll thread that I liked Bellamy and Raven's hook up in terms of what it did for the characters own development and what it told us about them but I knew as soon as it happened that the internet would explode with angry people. It was made abundantly clear that it was just a hook up, she was upset and trying anything to get over Finn. And yet people take it as meaning their "ship" has been blown out of the water and they get angry at the cast and crew.
Sorry, I'm just rambling. Point is I think this show is too good for this kind of nonsense and the writers, cast and everyone else involved deserve more respect for their work.
You make some very interesting points! You may be the first bellarke fan I've seen who is ok with them just being friends, and that's quite good, one has to enjoy the dynamics that are presented on screen, if you go expecting for more you may be disappointed from time to time.
ReplyDeleteIt's great that the show won you over time, I liked it right away because I felt it would get this good, but I admit there were some episodes that were a bit sluggish (episodes 2 and 8, though I still consider them solid installments). The complexity that has been developed over the run of the season has made a very satisfying character arc for everyone, and as such the show delivers not only on the plot, but also on the characters, it's achieving great balance and as such it's just a couple of steps of being the best show on The CW (and of reaching the mighty giants GoT and company). It still has to work a few kinks out, but it is doing a great job at that
I've talked with Jason over twitter from time to time and I can only say this: he's the best!
ReplyDeleteIt's great that he takes the time to engage with the fans, and his dedication towards the show has become both obvious and inspiring :)
Those details has bothered a lot of people, but can it be worked out really?
ReplyDeleteFirst and foremost, american actors usually have to be beautiful in order to get to work, so the casting directors won't find themselves with your regular share of people. Many shows on TV share this flaw, and it's because the TV industry is more interested in beautiful people than realisticly normal people. Some shows manage to get more down to earth looking actors (like Game of Thrones), but that's not always the case.
Second, this is a CW show (the best they could hope is to get 2 million viewers as opposed to big networks that get 7-10 million), as such they don't get a huge budget and they do the best with what they have. Now that The 100 has proven to be a modest hit for the network and that will keep making company for Arrow maybe the budget will rise a bit
After watching a lot of TV shows I just let it slide, it doesn't really bother me, my only concern is that the story and characters can be developed wonderfully, and The 100 has done so
One of the best things the show has done so far (besides fleshing out characters, which is just amazing work) is how they made the stories on The Ark way more interesting than they were in the first half of the season. Whenever the show shifted to The Ark I couldn't wait to be back on Earth, now I just want the same amount of both!
ReplyDeleteI feel you, and it's great that the show has got to a place where we care about the characters and that we don't want them to die, that attachment shows how greatly the show has developed said characters,
ReplyDeleteI don't mind shipping, but I think people should watch mainly for the storyplot and have the shipping as a side dish. There's nothing wrong with wanting two people to end up together, but you can't dismiss a whole great episode just because two characters didn't end up together: it may upset you, but you have to see the whole picture
I understand that; some fans can seem a little shallow with the whole shipping thing. I don't have a real problem with it, there's nothing wrong with wanting two people to end up together, but the fans should chill and not just in The 100, but in every single show on air. One has to see the whole picture and have shipping as a side dish, not the main one.
ReplyDeleteThe 100 so far has done an amazing job at creating characters that you could see in your every day life, there are surely Bellamys and Clarkes around our world right now, and that's just amazing work. The fact that Bellamy hooked up with Raven is, as you say, the result of overdrive of emotions, after all they are worn out, tired and scared and sex is pretty good way to blow up some steam. So I think shippers should be able to look beyond what happened and think about why it happened.
As I said, I have nothing against shippers, but they should pay more attention to just who slept with who, the writers of the show are trying to make a good story and a good story is more than just that
Couldn't agree more :)
ReplyDeleteOf course I would want more, this is a tv show. If there is something I like I would want it to develop as far as where it goes. If it's friendship, then fine, if it's romantic relationship, then fine. But I see more in their relationship and imo they make more sense than Finn and Clarke. I might say the opposite if they met on New York streets, flirt around etc. But on this show they are experiencing different things and characters' reactions to situations are shaping their personalities and changing their life perspectives and imo Clarke fits with Bellamy perfectly and Finn couldn't manage to be more than a sidekick, he's not equal to Clarke, their personalities couldn't mesh together well and atm Finn is the last person I want Clarke to have scenes with. Same goes for Raven too. I personally want them to drop this triangle completely. I watch shows for their pilots but it doesn't stop me rooting for a couple because as the shows move forward I'm/we're becoming attached to characters and starting to care for them. So I have and had a lot of pairings I rooted. Like Jack and Kate from Lost, Rumpelstiltskin and Belle from OUAT etc... or there are shows that I don't care about pairings like Arrow, GoT, Continuum etc... There are and were a lot of them. It just happens naturally like Bellarke happened and I think these connections and bonding between characters are a must and they are the icing on the cake. A lot of shows that I watched wouldn't feel the same without those relationships, friendships or romantic relationships. On this show atm Clarke is in love with Finn, would it stop me expecting more for Clarke and Bellamy? No but I can enjoy the story while I continue to root for my two favourite characters. Because from what I see on the screen something will happen whether it will be one sided or not. I'm just more interested in what's gonna happen next than who's gonna hook up with who.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't agree with you more, I feel like the people who only care about the shippings in the show ruin the fun of debating things from the actual plot for the rest of the fans.
ReplyDeleteGreat review, Pablo! Agree with most of your points here.
ReplyDelete"So, what if what fell to the ground and exploded wasn’t the dropship
but a piece of The Ark and Diana is still kicking around somewhere? If
so, all hell will break loose in season 2!"
A big YES to this! I would love this twist, and Diana is a very interesting character. Maybe whatever it was that Monty found had something to do with the dropship. I mean, there was some radio interference as Raven noticed earlier.
Exactly how I feel.... well said and well written!
ReplyDeleteLet's hope so! It would be a really great storyline for season 2!
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! I just recently started following him on Twitter even though I have watched the show from the beginning. He seems engaged with the viewers but not likely to deviate from his plan in order to appease certain parts of the fandom (ie: shippers). That quality alone would have me rooting for him and the show but when you add in the top notch acting from his leads and some great special effects, this show has become a must watch for me! Thanks for your review - even if I don't always comment, I am always reading :-)
ReplyDeleteGood review. I like the show and this review reflects the reasons why the show works. I like the ideas and how they make the morals of the characters twist and turn. They keep you guessing and the writing in that area certainly shows. The only one is Finn, who I'm not liking in the show. He's the damsel in distress of the week again and again and it wears thin. Here's some other points where it may improve.
ReplyDeleteThe physics:
Even high school level physics appears to be a fail for the writers. Good sci-fi to win fans can extend the rules and for a space drama they want to keep it realistic or at least plausible. But the flares to be seen high up in the atmosphere would have landed far far away (think symmetrical arc) and would not have fallen locally to burn down a village. The flares correctly / probably would have burned out before they landed or else the entire shot would have been purple not a little. Call it two strikes in one plot point. Before that Jasper lives even when impaled and has no surrounding bruising or broken bones. Nor Olivia from her water anaconda experience but she had a small scrape. Oi. Also where did they learn to swim? Don't worry, don't think about it, apparently we're in the John McClane world of science. It's okay, it's entertaining, but it makes me laugh in a way that the writers probably didn't intend. If they can up their game a bit on the physics and plot points it would improve the show.
The camp:
100 people eating and going to the washroom three times a day is a huge sanitation nightmare and the scale of it isn't possible with a campsite with a few tents and tables. The camp is too small. Port-o-potties in the capsule might have even been a solution but otherwise the overall camp logistics instead of being interesting have been ignored. This is the hole in the writing. There is the Ark, there are the grounders, and there are the main characters. This missing location is the camp. It's looking like magic.
More magic:
In the same evening, 14 perfectly symmetrical graves are dug up at the end of a show when the camp was still getting over being sick. They have shovels? No? One well person dug all the graves in a single night? How many were not sick and were available? I feel this was a missed opportunity to write outside the main group, about the camp and the rest of the 100 as a location with people in it like the Ark. Then when that unknown guy walks forward to join a search party it doesn't come across as forced or fake. Could have spent more time about the digging, then a funeral service to the dead instead of a quick end credit. Leaders need to console their followers, this was blank. Would you want to stay in camp if they just buried a bunch of people? It strains credibility.
These aren't big problems and certainly they don't have time to write about everything. I hope these holes and others like them improve into season 2. For a sci-fi show they shouldn't be afraid to up the level of reasonable actions and technical understanding and trust in their overall ideas. It's still a rocking show. Sorry for the long comment
I agree and I think if they developed the camp as a location in the story like they have the Ark it would solve a lot of these plot holes. How they keep so clean everyday, where the water comes from, boiling it for sanitation etc. Also where are all the toilets? 100*(minus the fallen*) people are like 2-3 busloads of people all living in one spot. Also what was the food being smoked? If 100* people are hunting and eating and are close to the Grounders then they are eating what they would have hunted and are winning without raising a hand. Unless they are far enough away to not be a concern. Which would be pretty far, and also ruins their plot right there. They have to start making sense or else it will fall under the weight of these inconsistencies
ReplyDeleteThanks! I really appreciate it :)
ReplyDeleteWhat I liked about the episode was the build-up. It didn't go like, Clarke and Finn were captured then escaped in the end and made it back in the end of the episode. It's all leading to the fight with the grounders and the end to the ark. A lot of cliff hangers that we all hate but to set up the last two episodes.
ReplyDeleteAs for Bellamy and Raven. I like Like Bellamy and Clarke and love their scenes and relationship. But I also like Raven's character and thought the scene between Raven and Bellamy didn't bother me. She was hurting and Bellamy telling her he wouldnt be the guy to tell her she wasnt thinking straight and was just upset showed really why she slept with him. And Bellamy did sleep with her just to get it over with. It's obvious they both regretted it afterwards. But seeing Raven upset was so sad I didn't think of Bellamy and Clarke. Their not really romantically involved just good friends. As for Clarke. She really grew on me with all her scenes in this episode. She knows they are going to war but wishes they could do something different. She tries to heal the little girl out of duty as a healer. When they take Finn and she learns more about the grounder she lets her instincts take over and she kills the grounder with no hesitation. I think the brief moment she is shocked by her actions but doesn't have long to think about and runs off. Which I like and find very realistic. You'd be shock of doing something unthinkable but you'd bolt if you knew you had to leave. I'll be surprised if next week she gets out of this new capture on her own. I hope she does. Bellamy has his own problems with the grounders that are coming and with Monty missing. As for Finn, he must be alive so I think may find another way to prevent the fight. He is more of a peacemaker and more reasonable even after getting stabbed by the enemy. Kane and Abbie are reunited but the ark is still dying. How this unfolds I feel is going to be shocking. Just thinking that the ark will die and the 100 will be left on their own is so hard to imagine. Their less than 100 so it's even more hard to believe but the writers have said that they aren't scared to go there. I feel like I might yell at my tv when I see the last two episode and I hate when I go there with a tv show.
