USA NETWORK TAPS NEAL McDONOUGH IN RECURRING ARC ON FOURTH SEASON OF ACCLAIMED DRAMA ‘SUITS’

NEW YORK – May 21, 2014 – SAG® Award nominee Neal McDonough (“Mall Cop 2,” “RED 2” & “Justified”) has been tapped as a recurring guest star on USA’s top rated and critically-acclaimed original drama SUITS, which returns for a fourth season on Wednesday, June 11 at 9/8c.

McDonough will play Sean Cahill, who is not so much an SEC investigator as he is a bulldog. Tasked by Eric Woodall (guest star Zeljko Ivanek) to uncover wrongdoing at Pearson Specter, Cahill will go toe-to-toe with anyone. The series stars Gabriel Macht ("Love and Other Drugs"), SAG® Award nominee Patrick J. Adams ("Luck"), Gina Torres ("Firefly”), Rick Hoffman ("Samantha Who"), Meghan Markle ("CSI: Miami") and Sarah Rafferty (“Brothers & Sisters”). McDonough joins recently announced recurring guest stars DB Woodside, Brendan Hines, Michael Gross and Melanie Papalia.

McDonough is a dynamic star with a solid body of film and television work. He most recently appeared in “RED 2” alongside Bruce Willis, John Malkovich and Helen Mirren. Prior film credits include “Captain America: The First Avenger,” Clint Eastwood’s “Flags of our Fathers,” “The Guardian,” “Walking Tall,” and “Timeline.” He will next appear in the “Paul Blart” sequel, opposite Kevin James. Television credits include “Mob City,” “Justified,” “Desperate Housewives,” “Boomtown” and “Band of Brothers.” McDonough is represented by Paradigm, More/Medavoy Management and his attorney Stuart Rosenthal (Bloom Hergott).

SUITS was one of 2013’s top ten scripted shows in cable among P18-49 (2.38MM), P25-54 (2.39MM), and P18-34 (1.28MM). Fans can catch up before the new season with the DVD release of SUITS season three on May 27 or anytime on Amazon Prime.

From Universal Cable Productions, SUITS was created and is executive produced by Aaron Korsh ("The Deep End"). Doug Liman (COVERT AFFAIRS, ”The Bourne Trilogy,” "Mr. & Mrs. Smith") and David Bartis (COVERT AFFAIRS, "The O.C.") of Hypnotic, as well as Daniel Arkin (“90210”), Chris Downey (“King & Maxwell,” “Leverage”), Gene Klein of Hypnotic (COVERT AFFAIRS) and Anton Cropper (“Fairly Legal”) serve as executive producers. Rick Muirragui (“Men of a Certain Age,” “The Good Guys”) serves as co-executive producer. Season 4 of SUITS is currently in production in Toronto, ON.

  4. same here I was like a new bad guy enters the show.

its probably like last season, the more serialized cases they handled. I actually liked it, Since they changed once Hardman game it became less case of the week and that was good.
