Reviews SalemIn this episode of Salem, things are becoming more difficult and dangerous for several characters as their secrets are in danger of being exposed. This leads them to protect themselves at all costs. It was a solid episode that built on last week’s episode and continues to dig further into the characters’ thoughts.
Here are some teasers from the episode:
-Mary plans to accuse her next victim don’t go smoothly.
-Tensions continue to escalate between Magistrate Hale and Mary after she bespelled his daughter in the last episode.
-Magistrate Hale senses that John doesn’t trust him, and he sets about trying to earn John’s trust.
-Someone close to Mary brings an acquaintance to town from John’s past.
-Tituba is forced to ask for John’s help unbeknownst to Mary.
-Mary’s husband finds a good use for the knitting needle he stole in the last episode.
-Rev. Mather has a confrontation in the church.
-Mary struggles to maintain control over Mercy.
With this episode things are definitely beginning to get quite interesting. Some things are revealed which could be game changers in the next couple of episodes.
i wonder when are they going to burn a real witch to see how that affects the coven they have there
ReplyDeleteWhere would they get hands on a real witch? The real witches are the ones running circles around everyone. Don't see it happening so soon. Maybe by the season finale they may catch an actual witch.
ReplyDeleteIf the witches turn on themselves, I could see someone accusing a real witch to remove a threat. The 3rd episode showed that there is already a divide among them.
ReplyDeleteThanks @Tracie Glad you're still enjoying the screeners :)
ReplyDeletewith things happening i can see Magistrate Hale turning agains Mary and "sacrifice" one of their witches just to prove the elders that she is somekind wrong on her believes or something like that.
ReplyDeleteyeah i think that too, Hale is not going to be happy if Mary keeps messing with his daugther and i can totally see Mary doing something so Magistrate Hale ends up dead by the end of the season.
ReplyDeleteNo, Hale isn't happy that Mary threatened his daughter. And Mary is also jealous of Anne's growing closeness with John. And Hale is wary of John and the potential threat of danger he brings. It is all one very tangled web.
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to seeing more of Tituba.
