  1. Oh. So Jane really is pregnant. Not sure how I feel about that since I wasn't a fan of the storyline to begin with.

  2. I'm gonna cry so much for episode 2.

  3. Too bad, some of the bts pics that they tweet out make this season look good but I won't watch pregnant Jane. Maybe I'll tune in to see how they say goodbye to Frost. Plus, with him gone that will mean more Frankie and his character has taken a nosedive too.
That whole Casey storyline was the worst thing ever and if she really is pregnant with his baby then he will never really be gone. Plus, Angela nagging her about her safety and getting married will be ramped up to unwatchable levels.

  4. I'm somewhat relieved. This is the push I needed to finally quit this show. Sasha and Angie are the only reasons to watch, and that last couple seasons Angie was making it harder.

  5. Didn't she get pregnant in the books???

  6. I don't get why everyone is so upset that Jane is pregnant. I am sure the show will still keep it's characters themselves. A TV show where the characters never have major life events would be boring.

  7. apparently yes. I am, however, extremely relieved to find out Maura is going to have a potentially appropriate boyfriend, rather than Little Brother Frankie (no o_O little brothers are off limits) after being told she's part of the family (ewww).
I also wonder where they're going with this. Apparently, it all happens right after the last episode, so by episode 5 Jane may just be 2 months pregnant.

I thought there was an episode coming up with a bombing. My first thoughts were she would lose the baby as a result? I might be mistaken.

  10. I am a little confused. In the finale Jane said that she MIGHT be pregnant, not that she definitely is. Just giving it away in the Synopsis seems weird to me.However, I am really excited and looking forward to where this is going to take us :)

  11. I am glad someone other than me doesn't seem upset that Jane is pregnant. I don't get why people would be willing to quit this show because they went that direction after 4 seasons. Some shows shouldn't go that route because it would not be make sense but there's no reason it can't work in this show. The show has a strong emphasis on family and relationships from the pilot so it makes sense. If a show like Alias can do it and still be good, a procedural show like this can.

  12. I kinda like the idea of Frankie & Maura but I think it should only be done if there is no chance of a breakup. Jane pregnant... I'm not sure how I feel about that. It'll be sad when Det. Frost leaves. I'm glad they're addressing it right away. This season sounds great. I love this show.

  13. If you've read any of the books, Jane does end up getting pregnant and having a baby (but with Agent Dean...), so this isn't a far departure from Gerritsen's literary mind...

She might lose the baby in episode 3 because too good to be true sounds eerie... It would also be a way to have the story line play out but not be a false alarm pregnancy... It also shows the character how much they did or did not want to be a parent. You dont miss something till it is gone. OR she gets injured and has to rethink how she can be a detective effectively without putting her baby in harms way. Either way the story line will be interesting, because Jane would have to learn how to balance parenthood and career. "find a happy medium" it mirrors real life which makes it easier to relate too.
