There had been no promo stills of Miles for Tomorrowland but he still was very much in that episode, so I don't think it means anything that Monroe is not in these stills. The synopsis already told us that he will be fighting the Patriots with Miles and Charlie.
Do you really know that for sure? If Bass or Miles die in the final then they knew they were going to get cancelled because you need both for the show; one won't do it. We have to wait and see next week.
Ya, I hope it's better than I think, but that attempt to stop an impending war sounds like a segway to the third season to me.We'll see, maybe you'll be right and there will be more resolution than we think. :)
I think/hope it might be something like the way he ended S2 of SPN. Sure he set up a whole new storyline with Dean's 1 year to live but they wrapped up the yellow eyed demon and John's story. And it could have worked as a series finale. Granted a series finale that left you wanting, but there was a feeling of closure too...
Actually, I almost hope that they don't wrap it up in the series finale, because then it will be so...well, final. If they wrap it too tightly by killing off main characters or suddenly throwing on the lights, then there's little hope for it continuing. Of course, the writers are phenomenal and could work with almost anything, I believe, but still. I'd almost like to keep it open-ended, to keep hope alive that the story could be continued elsewhere. It really deserves at least a Season 3, 13 episode arc...in order to bring the series to a respectful and satisfying conclusion.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
i'm so sad that we didn't get a third season.
ReplyDeletePLEASE Eric come back to Supernatural, your baby needs you badly.
ReplyDeleteSo we will never know if Miles is rlie's father? Or see her reaction to their relationship except for that small, quick quib a few episides back? :(
ReplyDeletePlease don't end on a cliffhanger. Please have seen the cancellation coming and decided to make an ending that would make sense.
ReplyDeleteKinda weird that there's not a single picture of Monroe.
ReplyDeletesorry but they already said it ends on a cliffhanger...sux.
ReplyDeleteThat sucks then. :(
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to it, but heartbroken it's the last episode for a while (still not giving up we eventually get more episodes).

ReplyDeleteBilly Burke said that was just speculation and would be too weird to visit that storyline now. So yes, forget it.
ReplyDeleteNo Monroe???
ReplyDeleteI just hope it ends in a way that can work as a series finale...
ReplyDeleteLooking at the press release, I'm doubtful....

ReplyDeleteShame...
