It's so hard to chose but i think the sliding doors episode "do you know" imo this season had so many great episodes . The one with Callie's trial was also pretty amazing and the halloween episode too. and the finale. EVERYTHING BASICALLY
10x13- it was written and directed very well (I think Debbie Allen [plays Catherine Avery] directed it)- with the flash back. 10x12- because who couldn't fall for the "And I think you love me to....Do you?" 10x22- because lets face it, it took guts for Shondra to make the call to have Washington back- and it was so well written- honest and plausible.
Sorry Seems to Be The Hardest Word + We are Never Ever Getting Back Together & the finale, Fear (of The Unknown) were the 3 strongest of the year I think
As much as I loved and applauded Cristina's last episode, I voted for 10x13 just because it's been a while since grey's mind blew me like it did, not once or twice but three times in the same episode. Nothing I expected to happen happened and that's a always a good thing in television. Almost.
Exactly, both Callie's trial episode and Cristina's alternative-reality were oustanding...standalone episodes! As much as I love all these specials with flashbacks or alternative realities (they sometimes have less of a filler quality than actual regular ones), I gotta admit that some of them are weaker than the others...But these were just plain awesome!
I on the other hand have 8 highlights and can't get rid of any of them. Though 10.09 and 10.17 along with the finale rank probably the highest as in the case of @Babar Suhail!
10.04 - for developing the new storylines in a nice and neat way amidst the whole chaos of the charity gala for the hospital. (200th episode)
10.09 - I guess it's pretty self-explainable, maybe there wasn't much suspense and action (we all knew Callie won't be found guilty) but boy did Sara Ramirez kick it out of the park! And as I mentioned below, the flashbacks & delving into the current state of her marriage with Arizona.
10.11 - for April's sisters, Alex's dad (James Remar is one hell of an actor) and Kendrick Lamar in the soundtrack
10.12 - also pretty self-explainable, from the feud between Cristina and Meredith all the way up to the wedding itself and all the relationships ironically being under the microscope in the wake of it (Calzona, Ben&Bailey, Alex&Jo)
10.13 - for the awesome, unexpected resolution of the whole love-triangle between April, Jackson and Matthew...and that slow-motion beginning with Total Eclipse of the Heart (and the beginning of Shonda's 80's pet-project for 10B - loved it!), Alex punching Ross in the face
10.17 - perfect episode where Sandra Oh could truly truly shine...enough said
10.22 - the exact same reason, a lot of focus on our beloved Cristina with the Burke's return
10.24 - the "Dance it out" scene would be a valid enough justification of this choice, but there were so many wonderful scenes...and for Mer finally standing up for herself. AND AMELIA STAYING PUT! (Though it hasn't been 'announced' on-screen)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
10x13
ReplyDelete"Fear" 10x24 I Will Never Forget Cristina Yang's Final Moments On The Show Sandra Oh Will Be Deeply Missed.

ReplyDelete10x13 : Jackson and April are married!!! and the 3 last episodes. The farewell to Christina was beautiful and sad.
ReplyDeleteThe episode where Arizona and Callie do rollerblades at the end.

ReplyDelete10x24, Fear. Christina Yang was my favorite character on Grey's Anatomy for 10 years and I will miss her.

I couldn't stand that episode- just because I felt it did nothing for her story.
ReplyDelete12-13-19 and the "What if" one.. i dont know what number is that

ReplyDelete10x13... it marked the beginning of 10b, which was FIFTY TIMES better than 10a. Seriously. Seriously!
ReplyDeleteAside from that, all of 10b was spot on!
I had to pick my top three they'd be Do You Know, Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word and Fear (of the Unknown).
ReplyDelete10x06. Alex singing with his father was one of the best scenes I've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteIt delved a lot into the current state of her relationship with Arizona for instance...and gave us the nice flashbacks as well.
