  1. I chose the scene where Cas couldn't punish Dean and of course the ending (holy cliffhanger!), but I also chose Other because I also very much enjoyed the scene where Dean flipped out on the doctor angel. "Honey, there ain't no men like me!" :D

  2. Am I the only one not surprised by a Deans 'dictatorship' comment? He's been acting like a dictator for seasons now. It's always been a case of 'I lead. You follow.'

  3. I chose Cas not being able to punish Dean and Dean believing Cas but also other because Metatron said Cas's weakness was revealed in that he was IN LOVE... with humanity. Uhhhh huh. ;)

  4. The Cas not killing Dean scene. Very well acted.

  5. Cas knocked out out of the park tonight, best epi in a long time, tfw was rocking! Cas couldn't hurt dean, he lost his army over one man, don't look at me right now ;")

  6. I voted Dean believes Cas, because I thought that was a nice scene. I also voted 'other,' because I thought the tension and edge that Dean displayed throughout carried the entire script.

  8. "You're such a nerd"
I guess no one under 30 got that reference.

  9. I'm going with the first scene where Sam tells Dean to leave the blade at home. It seemed like a real brother conversation which we get little to none of nowadays.

  10. Aside from Cas not killing Dean and Dean believing him, there are 2 other scenes:
    1. Metatron trying to copy Cas w/ trenchcoat and Gadreel's face in that scene... it was absolutely priceless :D
    2. The ending scene... actually it was really scary... I was terrified. I didn't like it (bc I don't like out-of-control! Dean) but that scene was certainly powerful, way more than when he killed Abaddon. So can it have the status of one of the most impacting scenes of the season? ;)

  11. the ending of course makes me want next Tuesday already, but I think my favorite part next to that was the Aguilera and Spears aliases

  12. God I so agree!..Poor Sam my heart goes out to him..not only is his brother lying to him, he is being such an ass to him too..

  13. I loved that scene too :) Sam trying to reason with his brother while not showing how concerned he really was..it was beautiful..

  14. Yeah it was scary..Dean is turning into a thoughtless killer in need of his next fix..if he does not get this under control he will do something unforgivable very soon..

  15. I did love the Cas couldn't kill Dean scene but my favorite was Dean's (well Dark!Dean now...) line to Sam "This is a dictatorship." Dean is soooooo far gone with the blade's influence on him. The blade is commanding through it's vessel, Dean. I love this storyline.

What I didn't like was the conversation between Cas and Sam in the car about Dean. Sam especially seemed like "eh, sure he's a little more angry than usual, what's the big deal??". Ha. Really, Sam? *headdesk*

  16. A Lord of the Rings reference will always get my vote.

  17. Well, the episode as a whole did pretty much suck teabags, yes....

  18. It's a tie for me between Cas being unable to punish Dean, and Dean believing Cas. Any scene that shows how much they mean to each other will always be my favorite.

  19. Predictable, but still enjoyable. ;)
    Kevin has to be avenged!

  20. Sammy was the smart one. Was. I suppose that the writers *ups* forgot that.

  21. I have a very big problem with this scene. We saw the same scene last season when Cass couldn't kill Dean under Naomie's influence and before again when God Cass didn't kill him.
We get it, Cass can't kill him, no need to get the same scene every season.

  22. Yes Kevin had to be avenged.
But it reminded me that Crowley hurt Kevin pretty bad, kidnaped his mom but they didn't avenged him for that. Also They never avenged the death of Helen, JO, Pastor Jim, Caleb by killing Meg. I never accepted they "befriended" Meg. Crowley was right last week, how did he say ? No one bends the rules like Sam and Dean do " or something like that.

  23. My king is always right!
But I think that Crowley and Meg hunting Dean&Sammy's friend is the natural order...Gadreel is an angel, and he betrayed Dean's trust. Kevin's death was cruel because he couldn't even try to defend himself

  24. Very true! Did anyone really think Cas was going to kill Dean? I certainly didn't.

  25. To be fair, the angels do believe that Dean murdered Tessa and Castiel's refusal to 'punish' him could quite easily be seen as a miscarriage of justice. They probably interpreted that as Cas believing that Tessa's death wasn't worthy of justice, that she was disposable and if that was true then why should he give a damn about the rest of them? It probably led credence to what Metatron was trying to get them to believe, that Cas was responsible for the suicide bombers and that he was willing to use them as tools to achieve his objectives with little regard for their lives. I know if I was following someone and they refused to punish or even acknowledge what I saw as the murder of a fellow operative, then I wouldn't be able to put my trust in them.

I guess these angels were just tired of being cannon fodder. Too bad that Metatron tricked them into becoming exactly that.
