Other - Sam and Dean trying to get answers from the captured angel was an absolute treat! In these dark times, having the chance to watch the brotherps work together, flipping their switches from mopey Sam and Dean to freakin' hilarious Sam and Dean, was a breath of fresh air. Plus we got to hear Sam/Jared laugh which was an added bonus <3 My favourite scene in a long time...
I loved Dean not letting Sam hide the blade, but the Abbadon scene was really good and I've waited a long time to say, "Hello Dark!Dean." The problem with Crowley calling off Juliette is that it's against canon. Normal humans who have not sold their soul and their time is up can now hear hellhounds is another canon failure. There were other problems with the script from a writing standpoint, but I still thought it was great fun to watch, and the Js were on-screen 18.59 minutes. To me this days, that warrants a "Wow!"
Other: The catching up between Crowley and his son was awesome. I like dark Dean but I'm a little worried. Also Abbadon was great in her last episode. I'm loving all this Cas revolution
I have to agree and would choose the interrogation of Ezra by Sam and Dean. It was absolutely brilliant dialogue and it was really great watching them work together. I have been saying all day it was so great to hear Sam/Jared laugh again. I can't remember when we heard this. I think I counted that he laughed 3 times in that scene. Plus we got those Sam/Jared dimples. The other scene I would have chosen was was Sam and Dean talking in the car. We have not had the boys have a conversation that has not been interrupted in forever. I think it was done well and they did open up a bit to each other. I also liked how Sam turned towards Dean when they were talking.
I loved the Cas- Gadreel scenes. They both talked in sync and was very calm. They both had their say and it was a great scene to see and watch. Both actors are good together
I said Other - the Sam and Dean interrogation of the angel. I loved that scene. The Js have such great chemistry and when they're on, they're ON. It gives me (a little!) hope that Sam and Dean can get back on track again (sooner rather than later, c'mon show!).
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteCrowley, Gavin & Abaddon and the WOW about them being Angels. So funny.
ReplyDeleteThere were a few, I loved the Juliet scene and the Yo scene as well as Dean killing Abadon and the Abadon/Cowley reaction to Gavin
ReplyDeleteThis was the best scene of the all season. How come it wasn't proposed here ?
ReplyDeleteBecause that's what "other" is for...

Dean's not exactly a normal human at this point.
ReplyDeleteI thought Abaddon had some cool scenes in this. I loved her shooting Crowley, taunting him with Gavin, etc.

Meh. Hard chouce, not because there were so many great scenes in this episode, but because it was a pretty lame episode, overall....
