Yeah...Stefan and Caroline are just friends. No romantic feelings between them whatsoever. They're like brother and sister. Nothing will EVER happen between them. Steroline shippers are just imagining things.
Sorry, I'm trying to practice saying things that are obviously false. The anti-steroline people have become so good at it.
This show has really hit rock bottom. How many times are we going to have the same Damon and Elena have the same scene over and over? Literally everyone but online shippers are sick and tired of this repetitive, gross, half-assed relationship. Jesus! And Damon is full of shit, he had no fucking right to punch Stefan, since he killed his best friend Lexi.
This felt very filler. I wonder if we'll see the ghosts on The Originals also interacting with the living side.
Unfortunately I think they're going to pair up Stefan & Caroline even though the last thing Caroline needs is a love interest. She needs an actual storyline.
Katherine had permanent control of Elena yet they were able to kill her. I wonder if they'll really kill of Tyler though or they'll figure something out in the end (as they normally do).
I have a few things to say: 1. The "wonder twins" are useless when one of them is missing and the other one can't even handle a haunted house. No wonder Markos isn't worried. 2. When did Caroline become Elena? Don't people always complain that Elena makes everything about herself? Now Caroline is actually doing that, inventing drama where there is none, and Elena put her in her place. Friendship over. Too much has happened. 3. Stefan is obviously going to die to keep the witches from killing Elena. Shippers will dispute whether he's doing it because he still loves her, or if he's just trying to protect Damon's girlfriend after getting his only friend killed. Stelena, Steroline, both make me want to gag. I thought the EPs wanted to see Caroline with someone new. However, if the pace continues as it's going, it will be made clear by the end of the season where Stefan and Elena stand with each other and with Caroline. I'm not sure if the writers know themselves yet whether Steroline will be a romantic relationship. 4. I am so glad that Ian Somerhalder leaked that Damon is going to die permanently in the season finale. The details he gave were fuzzy, but I'll put up with Delena for two more episodes as long as I know it's almost over. 5. If Bonnie and Jeremy don't both get killed off soon, so help me...I actually hoped that the Travelers would do him in. 6. Why go through the trouble of repeating what happened to Elena/Katherine and not mention that Elena was sealed in a corpse the same way Tyler was? People brought Elena back, cured her virus, and she's supposed to just shut up and stay with Damon? Maybe Bonnie asked who invented the spell because she knows Elena didn't just get tossed on the Other Side. Bonnie might want some kind of vengeance. I truly hope Elena's character is changing as much as Stefan has. I want to see Elena get badass on more than just Caroline. As for Tyler, kudos to the writers for finding a way to give him what he has coming without bringing up the bad writing on that spinoff. 7. Damon trying to resurrect Enzo as a passenger? Seriously? Why the hell isn't anyone doing that for Kol? I'm not one of the fans obsessed with him, but he deserves a second chance more than Enzo does. Maybe the EPs are waiting to see if Nathaniel Buzolic's new show gets picked up. If it doesn't, I really hope they don't put him on the spinoff. It's like a trash can for good characters. 8. Overall, I enjoyed the effects and the heart of the story. Matt hated torturing his friend, but it had to be done. I think Matt might still be in love with Elena. He wouldn't do that for Stefan. Bonnie probably just stood there and watched while Tyler got lost because after talking to Klaus, however briefly, and then listening to who knows how many dead supernaturals, Bonnie probably knows what Tyler did in New Orleans. Maybe everyone knows, but it disagrees so much with TVD that it'll never be fully addressed. People might start a search to try to save Tyler, but from the synopsis, everyone will get distracted between Damon's planning and Caroline's intervention in Bonnie's denial about her impending death. At least Caroline is a good friend to Bonnie. Once again, everyone will be too busy with their own issues to save their friend with the passenger in them. This proves that Elena couldn't have saved herself. Even Tyler couldn't escape that spell when he was surrounded by people who wanted to help him.
I really don't get why they keep saying Stefan killed Enzo when he didn't Enzo killed himself I wish Stefan would of said that from the start but I'm guessing the writters don't wan that?
Well IMO, Stefan covered up his death. Which makes him just as guilty as if he actually did it. Besides, Stefan had his hand wrapped around Enzo's heart in his chest. He knew Enzo's switch was off and that he'd probably do something drastic, he should've taking his hand out his chest. But the fact that he took Enzo's cell, texted Damon some lie, then got Elena, AND Bonnie to keep it a secret, then kept covering it up in Damon's face, then also belittling Luke into thinking he was the one that was off with his powers, when it fact Enzo was just dead to begin with..makes Stefan guilty. So as i said last week. Enzo's death was a Murder/Suicide. I rarely come to Stefan's defense, i'm certainly not going to come to his defense in this situation. Sorry.
I think Caroline was hurt that she was left out of the loop yet again. Back in Season 1 she hated that Bonnie & Elena left her out of the loop (they knew about the supernatural and never clued her in and she only found out once she became a vampire and Damon's compulsion wore off). Caroline knew that something was going on and they would never tell her anything and I think she really hated being left out. Since then though they have normally told her what they're up to and letting her know what's happening. I think that aspect of her personality has always been there.
I don't buy that Damon is going to die permanently and won't appear in Season 6. I think maybe they'll maybe decide to finally kill off of Tyler, Bonnie, Jeremy or Matt for good - but nobody from the main triangle.
I really like this episode. It had Beremy moments, which in my opinion I missed them.
It had salvator moments.. common Damon punching Stefan and letting it go... Stefan worrying about his brother finding out... I love those brotherly moments. Tonight it was NOT about a girl.
Although i am not a fan of Steroline... simply bc i love Stefan and i think Caroline is too annoying for him.. I do see something maybe sparkling up..but i see it more as a here....... let's tease our viewers.
Delena<3. Delena. Delena. I'm sorry but every episode that airs it shows us how much those two love each other. I loved that last scene together.. because even though they are not together at the moment they still want to be there for each other. I'm sorry you all hate us DELENA FANS... my love for my OTP has not died since season 1.
My final thought is that most of the air time that this show has is with Damon in it.. do yall really think he is going to be killed PERMANENTLY?!?!?! I really see it him being killed but brought back. Ian is not the type of person to just quit something, he is so passionate about everything that he does.
The Caroline / Damon stuff was an out-of-nowhere surprise and a pleasant one. It was an oddly fun part of the episode. I was nice to see TVD try something different.
I really liked it. We hadn't seen them have a decent/civil conversation/scene in a longgg time. I liked how Damon noticed her "judgy voice" and called her on it. Lol That was fun. I for one found it hilarious when she used "Team St Elena" with a whole bunch of sarcasm, especially since once upon a time, she shipped them, now it's all eww, no. Hahahaha Aww Caroline.
After torturing and trying to kill both Stefan and Elena, Enzo essentially committed suicide in the last episode (albeit via Stefan), yet for some reason he's now eager to return to the realm of the living? Moreover, Stefan is supposed to feel guilty for defending himself and then unexpectedly facilitating Enzo's suicide? And if Enzo's emotions are turned off, why is he full of rage and spite?
Also, why is everyone trying so hard to soothe Damon's feelings? Why should any of them feel guilty for lying about "killing" Enzo (a circumstance mitigated by self-defense) when Damon lied about killing (no quotation marks) Aaron (which he did consciously and in cold blood)? Furthermore, remember when Damon straight up murdered Lexi in a premeditated ruse to throw people off the scent of vampires in Mystic Falls? If he's going to be upset at Stefan for being partially responsible for his best friend's death, he needs to look at the hypocrite in the mirror and realize that he killed Stefan's best friend too, and with a lot less grounds for doing so.
Meanwhile Caroline, once the foremost champion of Stefan+Elena "epic love" (bleh) has jumped ship (geddit). Now she has to consider Elena romantic competition (GUH) for the last man in town she hasn't dated. I hateeeeee. Why can't a man and a woman on this show JUST BE FRIENDS?! I guess the writers of The Vampire Diaries want us to believe that you can only truly be friends with someone of the opposite sex after you've dated him, broken his heart, and moved on to banging his brother.
Lastly, can Damon and Elena stay broken up for ONE EPISODE. Very tired of them
I hate what they are doing to Caroline's character. She supported the "epic" love of Stefan and Elena and now she has feelings for Stefan...?Give me a break please! Steroline is completely discusting and out of space. The only chemistry the have is like simplings. Why don't you just kill her writers? It is exactlly the same as to turn her in season 1.
Great ep! Loved everything with Damon, he was spot on tonight! Especially the scenes with Elena. And I'm actually starting to ship Caroline and Stefan....tho I still prefer her with Klaus.
I think the writers are killing off Damon and others in order to change the show into something easier to follow and put an end to the shipper drama, at least for a while. It looks like Steroline is moving along faster than what was mentioned in Paleyfest. It will probably turn out the same way Klaroline did. The possibility will be addressed over a few episodes, and then Stefan and Caroline will separate with some sense of finality. Caroline Dries has obviously been paying attention to the more rational fans. She said that Season 6 will have a small enough number of characters that everyone will get a decent storyline, even Matt. Julie Plec said a while back that sometimes the writers plan a season one way, and when it doesn't work out, they change the course of it to adjust to what people would want to see. Sometimes the season ends in a way that had nothing to do with how it was originally planned. Since even Ian Somerhalder has expressed extreme irritation with the Stelena/Delena debate, and fans have been demanding that some characters get brought back and others get killed off because current stories don't make sense, what I heard recently about the season finale actually makes more sense than what's been going on with the show for at least a year. Who replaces Damon after he's gone might depend on a number of factors. We'll have to wait and see. I don't see Steroline as a problem. Originally, I was all for that relationship until the shippers got obsessive and it made me worry that Stefan and Caroline would end up doing things that wouldn't seem right. If those two are getting that close this fast, the problem will be solved faster than those shippers believe. Everything will be fine. I have the same reaction you just did when shippers get over-excited, online journalists make a big deal out of nothing, and spoilers show things that are better off as surprises. The internet really can ruin a show for you if you let it. I'm just going to sit back and watch what happens, which usually turns out to be something I didn't know I wanted to see.
It's a video interview that people are ignoring, possibly because they refuse to believe it. Ian Somerhalder talked about TVD in the past tense as if it contributed to what he's moved on to, and then he discussed Damon's death, which will possibly involve some flashbacks with Bonnie and Elena. I guess there's a backstory no one knew about. The writer of the article in that TV Guide scan a couple of days ago might have misspelled "Delana" on purpose. A lot of people wanted Damon to get killed off after some things that happened this season, and Ian Somerhalder himself seemed agitated in the video by both Stelena and Delena shippers. All of the actors have been having a problem in this area. Caroline Dries said that Season 6 will involve a lot less characters so that everyone can get a decent storyline, which is something that fans of the show, not shippers of certain characters, have been wanting for a while. It's possible that Julie Plec changed her mind about how to end the show in the future. She may have found a way to continue the show, at least for one more season, without the central love triangle now that it's become another problem. This video interview gives hope for fans who don't care about ships and want to see all of the characters get screen time. Maybe you're right and Damon's death won't be permanent because of IS's contract, but IS has other things to do and Delena dug a hole so deep that killing Damon might be the only way to end it. Either way, Damon is going to die. It doesn't matter to me if it's permanent. It seems like whatever causes Damon's death will end the Delena problem.
I like the friendship between Stefan and Caroline. Why everything in this show has to do with love?I don't want to see love between friends. But deep inside,i hope you are right. Thanks for the answer.
It was a little jarring to see them acting friendly/playful. I liked it, it was a fun scene but it certainly left me feeling a bit puzzled...like I was watching Bizzaro Caroline/Damon...LOL
The show is some sort of sick joke right now. Stefan doesn’t mention that Damon brutally murdered Lexi, Damon has the right to be mad but Stefan not, Elena magically forgets that Damon tried to kill Jeremy and looks him in the eye as if nothing ever happened, Stefan tells everyone that he killed Enzo when he actually didn’t. Damon is pissed at Elena for lying to him about Enzo while he still hasn’t admitted that he had her brother almost killed just a few episodes ago. Elena is supposed to be proud of Damon because he didn't kill any innocent people this episode. GROSS. Free passes and plot holes everywhere. Elena isn't even Elena anymore.
There's no suspension of disbelief because this is vampire show that can make me believe all the crap they're throwing at us.
For Damon I'm thinking they are gonna use some ideas from the books since Damon did become human, Elena became a ghost and all that crap which just drag the books longer. I'm sure if Damon is gone, half the fandom will leave and you know Julie isn't going to let her money making cow run off like that. So maybe he's throwing the idea into the fans head making them worry but really he's not leaving the show cause if he didn't renew his contract with TVD his fanbase would have made a huge deal about it.
I'm thinking Kol won't be coming back anytime soon due to that fact he doesn't get along with Julie Plec. (that's what I read in his fandom) How she chose Phoebe over Nate and when she said she had a story for him, he didn't go with it but went ahead with Supernatural: Bloodlines (which to me should be a stand alone show and not a spinoff). In my point of view, Nate should not come back at all because TVD right now is so screw up and annoying I rather he stay on the other side. I was bored and was reading random gossip how Kol (Nate) has a big fanbase and they were so mad and frustrated how Julie killed Kol just like that. She also had some war going on with his fans and went far as to block all of them. I read there was more inside story to it too lol
To me this show is damage beyond repair, creating stupid drama among drama is just don't do it if you can't even right the script right. The way this episode just blame everything on Stefan for killing Enzo. I'm sorry but Stefan stupid move was trying to get everybody to lie to Damon. Just for once can't they just man Stefan up and tell Damon straight to his face "Enzo was trying to kill me I try to stop him and put my hand threw his chest on his heart to stop him thinking he would but I didn't realized he was crazy enough to revenge by pulling back. So he committed suicide." There simple and done instead of getting the whole freaking town to lie to Damon that Enzo left. Sooner or later Damon will figure something is off he's not that stupid. And Damon punching Stefan, uh hello you killed Lexi and he witness his own brother killing his best friend for no reason, is that fair?
And Damon my goodness, hes suppose to be the bad ass of the show, the bad boy but they whipped him so much he's like love sick over Elena its like him and Katherine all over AGAIN! He can do so much better without her. I'm not shipping anybody I'm just so annoyed that romance took over the plot of the story and I don't even know where the season is going and what TVD is all about again.
I don't really care if Kol comes back or not, but I have read some things that contradict what you're saying. Nathaniel Buzolic was quoted as saying that he would love to be on both TVD and the spinoff. I think you caught some false rumors in the fan bases. As for the Damon fan base, life goes on, they always find a new obsession, and I've personally seen evidence that some of those fans have become close to impossible for even cast and crew of the spinoff to tolerate. It was said that something would be done in this season's finale on TVD that no one will expect and people will be in disbelief that the show went in that direction. Rumors go as far as to claim that the characters will all get knocked into an alternate dimension. All characters on the show have their own fan bases, and the EPs hear from all of them. There are also fans of the show in general who are tired of everything focusing on the same three characters. This is an internationally recognized television show, and a much more diverse group watches it than you probably realize. The minority is usually the loudest, and I doubt anyone would miss being harassed by them.
I know the show itself is internationally recognized since most of the cast travel around the world for interviews and fan meeting. And that's the point, if Damon were to be gone (aka Ian leaving) then it would have been everywhere on news, etc. I know they have their own fan base and huge too since most fans like to attack each other. Ian did tweet "see you soon" after they were done filming season 5 so we know he's coming back in season 6. Either they are playing the switcharoo where Damon is the ghost/spirit instead of Elena. It seems like they are picking random plots from the book itself just switching it around making it their own.
I'm not in denial that Damon is gone for good, just watching so many shows on CW they would try whatever they can to drag on the plot till the rating itself drop dramatic that's when they will learn to stop. If you think about it without Damon how would TVD be? True there is other cast on the show that can carry out the show but its been always the same plot in every season. I totally now don't even know what its about either beside 2 brothers going around the same girl that somewhat love both of them. She goes to one brother in one season, next the other one back and forth nonstop. It might end like what happen in the book but there is no way to please the shipper fanbase at all. Thats what I learn. No matter what they do, nobody is satisfied
Well, it doesn't matter to me either way what happens with Damon. An article reporting the renewal of TVD for a sixth season said that the show has the highest ratings in the network across all demographics. This is happening despite internet posts that I believe have been taken out of context. Ian Somerhalder's eccentric tweets about the TVD season finale have started spurts of rumors lately that the show will actually be cancelled after this season. I think the internet is causing a problem within itself. I'm going to take a step back from this issue and just enjoy the show and whatever comes next.
True whatever come just let it comes. I just saw the rating report for yesterday episode. No surprise there since this season is all over the place. I'm just hoping it ends soon before it destroy what it has left that is making it a watchable show. For some reason I try my best to watch it but I cannot after watching a few scenes. So I might just catch the season finale and read reviews on what is happening in between. I always see your post in TVD so I'm looking forward to reading what is happening next episode from you!
Thanks for explaining :) I still don't believe they'll let IS leave. I however would love it if they killed of Damon I can't stand him and he gets way too much screen time (I feel the same about Elena as well).
Ok... I just saw the video.. WHICH PART OF HE WAS JOKING PEOPLE DIDN'T UNDERSTAND!!! Oh my... If someone believe that he was being serious about it they need to catch a class about sense of humor ASAP!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteIt's a video interview that people are ignoring, possibly because they refuse to believe it.
ReplyDeleteBut deep inside,i hope you are right. Thanks for the answer.
It was a little jarring to see them acting friendly/playful. I liked it, it was a fun scene but it certainly left me feeling a bit puzzled...like I was watching Bizzaro Caroline/Damon...LOL
ReplyDeleteThe show is some sort of sick joke right now. Damon is pissed at Elena for lying to him about Enzo while he still hasn’t admitted that he had her brother almost killed just a few
ReplyDeleteepisodes ago.

ReplyDeleteI'm thinking Kol won't be coming back anytime soon due to that fact he doesn't get along with Julie Plec.
ReplyDeleteAnd Damon my goodness, hes suppose to be the bad ass of the show, the bad boy but they whipped him so much he's like love sick over Elena its like him and Katherine all over AGAIN! He can do so much better without her. I'm not shipping anybody I'm just so annoyed that romance took over the plot of the story and I don't even know where the season is going and what TVD is all about again.
This show has become so repetitive and pointless, I honestly think I'm done. It's unfortunate, I really used to love it.
ReplyDeleteI don't really care if Kol comes back or not, but I have read some things that contradict what you're saying.
ReplyDeleteI know the show itself is internationally recognized since most of the cast travel around the world for interviews and fan meeting.
ReplyDeleteI'm not in denial that Damon is gone for good, just watching so many shows on CW they would try whatever they can to drag on the plot till the rating itself drop dramatic that's when they will learn to stop.
ReplyDeleteTrue whatever come just let it comes.
ReplyDeleteI never would have guessed they could find common ground amongst their insecurities and jealousy. Fun stuff.
ReplyDeleteIt was a bit jarring but it turned out well. It was something the show could have easily overdone and screwed up but shockingly they didn't.
ReplyDeleteIf he was dead wouldn't he have had to pass thru Bonnie?
ReplyDeleteI laughed so hard when she said "team Stelena!"
ReplyDeleteI love when the writers throw in the fan lingo. It's a nod to us, i love that.
ReplyDeleteThanks for explaining :) I still don't believe they'll let IS leave. I however would love it if they killed of Damon I can't stand him and he gets way too much screen time (I feel the same about Elena as well).
ReplyDeleteOk... I just saw the video.. WHICH PART OF HE WAS JOKING PEOPLE DIDN'T UNDERSTAND!!! Oh my... If someone believe that he was being serious about it they need to catch a class about sense of humor ASAP!
