great ep that gave us a few reveals and set up... the only nitpick that I had was how easy that Paul and Mark(?) were able to follow Sarah and Helena on their road trip, but it served to set up Helena's return to her "babies"... disappointed that Sarah didn't try to go back for her in the police station and left her there, but I guess she really couldn't do anything for her. really enjoyed the ep
So I finally have some time now that a lot of my shows have finished of there seasons or got cancelled, I'm marathoning Orphan Black, I don't know why I didn't here about this show sooner, it's actually really awesome, Tatiana Maslany is amazing, she plays each character extremely well.
..............we talk about Orphan Clone Club. Second Rule of Orphan Clone Club is we always talk about ORPHAN CLONE CLUB, because it's just to good not to talk about Tatiana Maslany aka Sarah, Cosima, Alison, and "Meat Head" Helena! Nobody, 4 LATER!!!
I was the same, although I caught up riiiiighht before season two. I had bought the season on Google Play a year ago but finally got to it then realized season 2 was starting so I finished season one in three days (only because I was trying to prolong the awesomeness) and now I am wishing I had waited until season 3 was about to begin at least. It's been utter torture having to watch the show weekly as opposed to having all episodes at my disposal at a given time haha
I completely agree, I love marathoning shows like this, it's so addictive and fun, but the seasons nearly over, and it's going to be a long wait. I just haven't had the time to watch this show weekly, but now I do, I finished the first season in about 2 days, didn't sleep much because I was too excited and kept watching the next episode, it's a problem of mine :)
In fairness to Sarah, she did call Art and got him to pull some strings but I suspect that came too late because the religious nutcases were there first. I agree, Paul and Mark's tracking did seem a tad easy, especially at the campsite
I only discovered Orphan Black over the weekend, and I'm loving it! So good, Tatiana is amazing!! The way she plays each character to such a high standard is wow, just wow. I'm still confused as to how they film it when two clones have scenes together, but nonetheless, agh, I can't get enough of this show!
What a second season this show is having! I laughed so much at the Helena/Sarah roadtrip that was seriously so great until well things went bad but Helena singing, the shadow animals in the tent, everything that happened in the bar. Sorry Sarah I think Helena may have become my second favourite clone after Alison. I just love the depth they have brought to her character this year.
X Great seeing Vic the Dick again, kind of made me sad that he is working with Angie because I liked the moment with Alison when they played basketball.
X Art and Felix team up? This show continues to bring characters together and make everything gold.
X Oh damn at Leekie just when I started to like him.
X So Duncan isn't a bad guy then, I hope he can help the Clones.
X Lovely moment between Cosima and Sarah on the phone and then Sarah talking about how great she is to Duncan.
X Kira is of course the key but how on earth did they get her stem cells?
X "You are my candy girl..and you've got me wanting you!!"
I loved how Helena got into the bar fight then was returned to the Farm. I loved how Sarah is using her detective skills to find Duncan. I loved how Paul and the Farm guys discussed a truce over the two sisters like they were some objects to manipulate. I loved Sarah coming face to face with her protector Mrs. S
They use stand in and Tatiana places one character then switch to another then they digitize out the stand in and seamlessly insert Tatiana's other role. They explained it on a Nerd HQ conference at last year's Comic Con in San Diego.
Okay, I don't think this show will ever have bad episodes.
Art and Felix, that was gold. I'm really glad Art is part of the clone club. I liked Vic and Alison together. Didn't expect to see him again. It's too bad Angie is pulling the strings though.
Helena / Sarah's moments were great too, the scene in the car was cute. Helena is a big child mix with... i don't know a gorilla maybe? She is craving for family that's for sure. The scene in the bar was great too, it was nice to see her interact with someone other than prolethiens or clone club members for change. It was also fun to see her mix all the clone's history.
I also really liked the talk between Sarah and Cosima. And when Sarah talk about her sisters to Duncan, how great Cosima is. I think it was those scenes are my favorites Duncan said they weren't the only lab leading those experiments, does this mean there is way more clones ? and not sarah's. Duncan is apparently a good guy and Leekie is apparently a bad guy. I was starting to like him, even if he creeps me out. As for Paul, I rather not to stick to one position right now. And yeah for Mrs.S in bear mom mode.
I am not a English speaker and I didn't understand what the nerd-guy (don't remenber his name) actually found. Well I know it's about Kira and the clones' genetics' but I didn't understand what it means exactly for Cosima and the clones. Is Kira a way to cure Cosima or something, Is that the reason of Delphine's reaction ? If someone can enlighten me it would be amazing.
The Kira thing: Obviously DYAD has Kira's DNA. That was supposed to be the shocker in that scene. And Scott found that. Kira and Helena do seem to have a special healing ability so yes I guess that Kira is the key to help Cosima.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

That episode made me totally ship Alison and Vic the dick!!
ReplyDeleteOne thing I'm confused about did Shioban know Paul before? Even before they met in season 1?

ReplyDeleteI am certain she did. Especially having Mrs, S threaten Paul with whatever he did in Afghanistan.
ReplyDeleteYes that's what I thought too.
ReplyDeleteI thought so, I just wasn't 100% certain.

Oh, it's just that, I thought there was more. Thank you anyway. It is true this little kid got away with scratches after being hit by a car.
