I didn't care for it to be honest. I like more action, excitement, "sitting on the edge of my seat." And I miss Mariska being in an action role . . . out on the streets, running, energetic, busting perps the way she used to. That is one of her great gifts to the show.
I think that both Amaro & Olivia need to leave SVU. They both just get so blinded that they forget the law. I've thought for a while that Olivia should be transferred to another department but Amaro defiantly shouldn't be working there anymore.
As for the case I agreed with the jury. You can't arrest someone for a crime they haven't actually committing. Nothing he had done was actually illegal.
I liked it. The question of whether or not you can judge somebody for „just thinking” about committing a crime, in a situation when the person has begun taking steps toward making the thoughts a reality, was an interesting one.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Tonight's episode was boring as hell. sad to say.
ReplyDeleteAmaro finally snapped. Like the perp of the week, he was a time bomb waiting to go off.
ReplyDeleteI did not enjoy this episode. I don't watch regularly anymore but it seems like every time I do it's just blah.
ReplyDeleteyou have certainly missed out on a lot of good episodes this season.
ReplyDeleteAmaro beating up the suspect reminded me of Pino's former Character Valens on Cold Case. He also beat up a suspect but never got in trouble
