Yeah that was a good one, will had to react to it that way, hannibal believes he killed Freddy, and cut her up, so that was, the only way he could act, that was gross, did you see the way, they both looked at him, when he ate his nose lol! That was classic
So dark, so twisted, and so brilliant! Let's count the ways shall we (No Spoilers.........Much). 1) Gillian Anderson is back where she belongs. Her scene was compelling, but very creepy! 2) Margot suffered at the hands of Mason, but in the end she is the last one standing................literally! 3) Michael Pitts has given us one of the "Most Memorable" if not one of the "Best Villains" on TV this season with his portrayal of Mason Verger. Can't wait for the finale, but wait...............then we have to wait for season 3 premiere.........DAMMIT! 4 SOME DR. LECTER THERAPY, I am still Nobody!!!
soooooooo gnarly and bloody well done.... I cannot wait til next season! I hope that Will doens't have to get rid of his dogs since they now have a taste for tasty human scooby snax.. lol
OK I might be missing something because I'm wondering about this for awhile now. What made Jack change his mind about Hannibal? He was all, "Oh Hannibal is the victim!" Now, he's like "HE'S THE DAMN KILLERRRRR!!" Lol.
I totally get where you're coming from regarding Will, but we can't forget he's a guy who's been working with the FBI in incredibly disturbing cases for a long time. And he was somehow psychologically prepared for Hannibal's craziness.
Clarice will appear in season 5 when Hannibal falls in love and escapes. Mason will be back in season 6 along with Margo (so he will follow the books and not the movie). Season 7 will be about Hannibal and Clarice as couple. So in season 7 Will maybe could return.
Ok, thanks... I already heard what Bryan Fuller planned for his 7 seasons arc story. Just hoping they can get into the books sooner. I don't wanna wait an hypotethical fourth season in 2016 to catch about the whole Red Dragon stuff.
It's not their first taste of human- Hannibal fed them human-sausages in 1X04. Will should be very scared of those dogs (except Winston, loyal and smart till the end).
A few weeks ago I said that the guy coming out of the horse was the most disgusting thing I've seen on this show, but it's now a tie with Mason cutting off his nose and eating it.
This was an amazing episode and I can't wait until next week!
Can someone explain this please for me please...Did Hannibal just paralyze Mason? Because it looked like, and I thought, Hannibal killed him by snapping his neck?
Correct... at the moment he does not have the rights to Clarice. Hopefully... I think he needs to move things forward a bit as each season we are on the edge of cancellation.
If you were getting Joker vibes, it was what Bryan Fuller intended. He wanted Mason to be the Joker to Hannibal's Batman. http://www.digitalspy.com/tv/s225/hannibal/news/a563532/hannibal-michael-pitts-mason-verger-is-the-joker-meets-scott-disick.html#~oExCI6ygcMwepq
Agreed! I was quite ill during that scene with Mason and that has never happened before while watching Hannibal. That horse scene came the closest. Argh.
Thank you, but I thought in other shows when someones neck gets broken they die? Like on The Americans a few episodes ago. But if you say qud- or tetrapalegic I believe you. thanks so much!
Not necessarily, it is not instant kill - however, it's life threatening when it happens. Just like Christopher Reeve's accident, when he broke his neck. There are degrees to it: can involve one or multiple C vertebrae (counting from the head, they are the initial 7 vertebrae).
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
epiiiic
ReplyDeleteHOLY HOLY HOLY SHIT
ReplyDeleteMason - so disgusting. Will didn't react to that how a normal human would react. He's already also a Psychopath.
Definitely the sickest and hardest episode ever. Disgusting but awesome fiction at the same time.

ReplyDeleteWhat Mason did to his face will stay in my mind for some time.
ReplyDeleteI think Will show very little reaction to what's going on for Hannibal's sake, to appear to be his murderous equal.
ReplyDeleteI know it's cliche at this point to say any actor that plays crazy well that they should play The Joker but Michael Pitts really plays crazy well.
ReplyDeleteReally awesome acting. But I don't know if he wants to watch it.
ReplyDeleteEPIC!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYup... Awesome episode.

ReplyDeleteSaddest part is that Season 3 won't premiere till next Spring :/
ReplyDeleteOK I might be missing something because I'm wondering about this for awhile now. What made Jack change his mind about Hannibal? He was all, "Oh Hannibal is the victim!" Now, he's like "HE'S THE DAMN KILLERRRRR!!" Lol.
ReplyDeleteWhat did I miss here?
Amazing references to the Ridley Scott movie. So, I guess next time we'll see Mason Verger in this TV adaptation we'll meet agent Sterling?
ReplyDeleteA normal human could NOT show very little reaction. Even if a part of him still wants to catch or kill Hannibal, Will became a Psychopath.
ReplyDeleteI totally get where you're coming from regarding Will, but we can't forget he's a guy who's been working with the FBI in incredibly disturbing cases for a long time. And he was somehow psychologically prepared for Hannibal's craziness.
ReplyDeleteHe got it when Miriam shot Chilton. What he doesn't get is how seriously he should take Bedelia's warning about Will.
ReplyDeleteClarice will appear in season 5 when Hannibal falls in love and escapes. Mason will be back in season 6 along with Margo (so he will follow the books and not the movie). Season 7 will be about Hannibal and Clarice as couple. So in season 7 Will maybe could return.
ReplyDeleteWe will if the rights to the character were given to Fuller.
ReplyDeleteHow did he get it from that? I thought from shooting Chilton, Jack was convinced that Chilton was the ripper.
ReplyDeleteOk, thanks... I already heard what Bryan Fuller planned for his 7 seasons arc story. Just hoping they can get into the books sooner. I don't wanna wait an hypotethical fourth season in 2016 to catch about the whole Red Dragon stuff.
ReplyDeleteHe got that the Ripper is not so stupid that he would be shot by Miriam after having her under his care for so long.
ReplyDeleteHe just said in an interview with AV club he'd love if they returned in Season 3.
ReplyDeleteIt's not their first taste of human- Hannibal fed them human-sausages in 1X04. Will should be very scared of those dogs (except Winston, loyal and smart till the end).
ReplyDeleteThanks, just read it. Interesting.
ReplyDeleteOr summer, depending on how well Constantine does. :(

The show keeps besting itself by showing the most disgusting scenes on TV.
ReplyDeleteI doubt Brian will able to have his seven-season arc be fully realized concerning the ratings the show has been having despite how compelling it is.
ReplyDeleteMason has become tetraplegic. When someone breaks the neck, the spinal cord is severed in the process.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Will's a psychopath given his empathic abilities, nor his genuine care for his dogs, Alana or Jack. I think there is darkness in him.
ReplyDeleteIt made sleeping last night not fun for me.
ReplyDeleteI heard that Fuller wants to keep Will around for the foreseeable seasons which I would very much like.
ReplyDeleteHe made him quadriplegic.
ReplyDeleteAgreed! I was quite ill during that scene with Mason and that has never happened before while watching Hannibal. That horse scene came the closest. Argh.
ReplyDeleteHmm ok. Kinda makes sense I guess but I wished it was a little obvious as to how he changed his mind. Lol.
ReplyDeleteThank you, but I thought in other shows when someones neck gets broken they die? Like on The Americans a few episodes ago. But if you say qud- or tetrapalegic I believe you. thanks so much!

That makes sense. I get it now, thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome :)
