Excellent episode, as always, peppered with a little bit of everything (moments to make you smile; to make you laugh; to make you squeal; to make you gasp in surprise; to make you want to tear your heart out and bury it in the ground so the pain would be a little more bearable). I love the way Will's death still has such a tremendous impact on the rest of the characters. It does give the show a darker tone, but it's a worthy send-off to an outstanding character and an outstanding actor - and I dare say it's unparalleled. No other TV character death has been given so much weight and no other show has truly conveyed the sense of loss that people feel in real life, imo.
Veronica: "Will was such a special person, he made me laugh." Finn: "Will Gardner was the hero. When Jeffrey Grant started shooting, he tried to take the gun." Diane: "Kalinda, I feel like I'm channelling Will's ghost." Kalinda: "Well then take care of him." Alicia: "Who am I being faithful to?"
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I wish he had stayed for that drink. Shipping is so hard this days.
ReplyDeleteI liked this episode. Nothing flashy or anything, just a good solid episode.
ReplyDeleteThis exchange (among others, of course) made me smile:
KALINDA: You believe him?
DIANE : I did, until he said he didn't want pity.
Hahaha, there you go Canning, had to know all that yapping was going to come back to bite you one day! ;)
