    fantastic ep that showed a nice touch from Lucy L in her directorial debut.... outstanding scenes and work by JLM and RI..... nice suprise at the end that might confirm other's speculations that Mycroftis indeed part of/affiliated with MI6 or some group like that...really cannot wait to see how this resolves

    my guess they will stay faithful to novel written by Doyle which would make Mycroft probably someone who for govt agent

    Such a captivating episode that put the focus on Holmes and Mycroft's fractured relationship. I can not stress enough how phenomenal it is when Jonny Lee Miller and Rhys Ifans are together onscreen and this episode was no exception.

    Sherlock's breakdown just after he found out that Watson was kidnapped was chilling. He loves her in a way that he wouldn't be the same and not know how to adapt if she wasn't in his life and I think she's such a big part of that. He treasures her.

    When that sniper called Mycroft "sir", I immediately theorized that he is a government official of some kind. Either he is associated with MI6 or is the head of some other intelligence agency.

    I think he might be head of some private military unit.....don't think those men were nypd or fbi...

    I hope we get the Sherlock/Joan reunion at the beginning of the next ep… I sort of feel let down that it wasn't in this episode at the end.
