OMG that last scene. I wonder who's not going to make it. My money is on Casey. And of course Shay is in a life threatening situation agian. It only has been two episodes since she was in the last one.
Great but not awesome. Of course the last scene was intense but I saw it coming. I am also wondering how this will play into PD tonight. The police can't be called out to investigate without giving away who lives/dies.
No way do they kill one of the core five cast members (Casey, Severide, Boden, Shay, Dawson) they would lose far too many viewers. One of them may be seriously hurt but the writers are not stupid enough to kill them. If anyone dies it will be Capp or the new guy (or the other chief).
I agree about the crossovers. and that's why I'm not a big fan of them on a regular basis, occasionally...yes, but not every single ep, which it seems like it has been lately.
That being said I totally love Mouch and Platt!! <3
I agree. Killing off Casey, Severide, Boden, Shay, or Dawson would be ratings suicide. If someone dies it will be someone we like but the show could survive without them. I find its usually someone who has had more than their usual screen time lately, and been a "hero" of some sort so that we will all be sad and shocked.
I loved it!! And I LOVED Casey’s proposal!! His words were beautiful and the spontaneity of it was a pleasant surprise!! :) Given what happened on the call, I wish we would have seen a YES from her, cause clearly she wanted to say yes. (at least I thought she did).
Loved Boden and Herman’s squabble!! lol And I think Mouch and Platt are PERFECT!…should be wildly entertaining!! :D
If I was to pick it apart, I would say that it’s unbelievable that ALL the firefighters went into the building, leaving only Boden out on the street. I would think in reality they would always leave team members outside in case of an emergency…to operate the truck, ladders, hoses, etc….but hey, what do I know about firefighting…. :) Beside, I watch for the characters, not the procedural.
Speaking as a paramedic married to a firefighter that is on many scenes together: worst nightmare! But that's why scene should be declared safe prior to entry!
I've been sensing Kelly is gonna go for a long time now. Casey will be forced to take desk job. Herman will replace him as Lt. Dawson will be the new candidate for 51.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I KNEW SOMETHING LIKE THAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN. AGGHHH!
ReplyDeleteOMG!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI dont think everyone is gonna make it out alive. Also, Mouch and Platt seem perfect for each other
ReplyDeleteWHY DO THEY DO THESE THINGS?! Ugh, is it September yet?
ReplyDeleteA wedding that almost became a disaster and save again by Milis
ReplyDeleteespecially just after a happy wedding.......will the chief lose his entire firehouse ?
ReplyDeleteTHIS WAS NOT OKAY. I think this is going to be the toughest cliffhanger for me this season.
ReplyDeleteSo is the Chicago PD episode set up after this or during? I mean Kelly and Lindsay are dating...wouldn't she know about this if it was after?
ReplyDeleteThat was some epic cliffhanger

ReplyDeleteI fraking hate cliffhangers like that. We get no clues as to what's going on...grrrrr.
ReplyDeleteYeah but what was Platt even doing there.

ReplyDeleteAnd that my friends, is how you do a cliffhanger :O
ReplyDeleteJust more linking PD & Fire together and they'll probably do the same with MD when/if it kicks off.
