  1. Very intense. Next week looks even more intense -- can't wait. Hope there is more of Ressler, Cooper and Malik in the finale.

  3. I really wish this 2-part finale was two hours in one night!
This episode was frustrating as a penultimate episode for me if I'm honest. I think it would have been nearly perfect if the next episode followed it immediately though.

I will withhold any more judgement on this episode until next week after the finale. I really think that this episode has to be looked with that episode to be fair.

Well the big reveal of Berlin is not for another week evidently! XD
Drat! Tall skinny man with hairy arms/ hands.... Hmmm...The actor's stature reminded me of Bruce Spence or Rhys ifan, but it was hard to really make out the voice with all the airplane background noise....

Please showrunner, Move past Liz being hot and cold with Red next year! It is just annoying now. She has gone hot and cold too many times and we all know how it will end with her accepting Red back even if only for her work. Move on....

I liked the COTW being a new twist on blackmail!
Then adding John Glover as another layer just topped it all off nicely. So much fun!

    Cannot wait for next week!

  6. loved it, even despite Lizzie's wishy washy-ness, nice set up and tie in to past cases into everything being parts of a larger plan.... loved Lizzie's flipping the script on the Dr, "That's how blackmail goes, sweetheart".... and the quick humorous line by the computer guy, "Five Horsemen - that's be a cool name for a band"......

  7. That's some intense stuff.

I didn't LOOOOVE the episode but I didn't hate it. And, I feel this should have been a two-episode because it just really so dense. I did enjoy the relationship with Liz and Red as always and of course the end of the episode too.

I disagree. I think their tenuous relationship, their fragile dynamic is one of the more interesting and unique on TV. The push and pull of their relationship, the struggle to define it, Liz' struggle to trust Red, the nonlinear progression of whatever their relationship is, it's one of the big highlights of the show for me.

Red's feelings (whatever they are) for Elizabeth go against his general nature and exposes vulnerability. When Red's nature comes back to bite him in the ass it hurts his relationship with Liz and peels back layers of Red that we normally don't get to see otherwise.

Not only is the back and forth of the Red/Elizabeth relationship entertaining for me personally, it also allows the audience to get to know Red a little more through the process.

Didn't they say a major death was going to occur in part 1?

  11. I'm holding my judgement until next wext week, because as somebody already said, this is a two-part finale and I prefer to have the full picture before going into details.

This episode though just confirmed to me how the Liz/Red relationship (and god only knows what's the truth behind it) is really the thing I enjoy the most about this show. That last scene was really great.

  12. I hate how they have turned this into a 2 week finale. Anyways, every time I think I may have a decent theory on the relationship of red and Liz, something comes along to make me scratch my head and have to start all over! This week, it's the whole conversation red and Liz were having at the end, where he is talking about how nothing matters without her. I just have a hard time believing that they don't have something less than a family relationship(father/daughter). The man is completely willing to die if it means losing her. I guess it would be strange for me if he is really being that unselfish. Unless his reasons of wanting her to be around are to help him get the answers he needs, but it seems that he protects her more.

  13. Yeah, I should have said "On and off" instead of hot and cold maybe.....

I think it would have ben so much more powerful if the first time she said it was upon hearing that Red killed Sam. It would have made sense and had so much more impact if it was the first time she said it... at the end of a season no less.

    Oh well, bygones!

  14. Love Red's memory speeches, I just sit there in awe waiting for the end, knowing for sure there will be a point to it all, and that point is always oh so great.

  15. This one was a disappointing episode i have to say as all it did was setup the finale which would have worked better if this was 2 hr episode but as a single episode it was boring

  16. Would rather have seen a two hr finale in one night instead of two one hr episodes.I'll wait until nex but WTH-eck with Red not wanting to live without Liz in his life?!

  17. I thought so too. They said something about a death that would hit Ressler pretty hard if I'm not mistaken.

  18. To be fair, it was E! Online...

  19. Yeah, that's right and I know it's not reliable. And yet I always read them. Now they're saying someone will die in the finale, which I'm willing to believe.
