Next season is the last season. The reason why it hasn't been cancelled or ended is because Bones has been their #1 drama. It brought in the ratings and made FOX money.Considering none of their other dramas are doing that for them (except Sleepy Hollow) they would have been crazy cancelling it.
I'm watching the Blacklist finale, but that is also the series finale for me. I haven't watched a minute of A&E after they left Jim bleeding out on the floor in the finale of The Glades, and now, once Revolution concludes, I won't be watching anything on NBC. I'm tired of getting hooked on shows and having them cancelled without resolutions.
24, that's for sure. Also excited the first season of blacklist is concluding today. I have been waiting for a bit to end so I can watch it all together.
I am aware that The Blacklist wasn't cancelled, that is why I said it is the series finale for me. Honestly, I've enjoyed the show, but I haven't LOVED it. Not like how I LOVE Revolution. I'm sure some people will think I have that backwards, but we all have our own idea on what we find entertaining and enjoy watching. With The Blacklist, I'm already getting tired of waiting for explanations about why Red wants to work only with Liz. I want some answers already!
I won't even watch The Blacklist live, I ALWAYS watch it on demand a few days later. It's my personal protest against NBC moving Revolution out of that timeslot and into the 8pm Wednesday slot that helped kill the show.
Now, I'm just so ticked off at NBC, I don't want to watch anything on the network. I've had it with shows on all networks being cancelled without resolutions, as I said. I'm sure NBC won't even notice I'm not watching, but it will make me feel better!
I'm sure it's naive, but I really believe that the networks should have some RESPECT for their viewers. If you have a show that finished filming prior to the renewal/cancellations being announced, and the show ends on a cliffhanger, the networks should at least allow for a 2 hour "wrap it up" movie for 1 hour dramas.
Yeah, like I said, naive I know...when has a network ever treated its viewers with respect?
I hear where your coming from.I can say that about FOX too always cancelling,i don't think its just a NBC problem. I found it curious because Revolution and The Blacklist are so vastly different.Revolution never had the ratings or the following as The Blacklist did/does. Revolution had problems from the beginning which was a warning sign especially with that 2 month hiatus for them to tweak the characters and story. It came as a great surprise they even got a renewal for a second season. The ratings were still bad in S2 whereas The Blacklist came out running and never looked back, the ratings are consistently phenomenal, and a critical success. This is the one drama on NBC that is gold for them,it isn't getting cancelled, and that's a safe bet.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

About the time I stopped watching too. I know a lot of people who no longer watch either but it must have some dedicated fans.

ReplyDeleteYes me too, especially when they're on NBC. I only started watching The Blacklist from midseason for that reason I watched the first 11 in 1 night.
