Stitchers - Felix Gomez cast as Series Regular
Spanish actor Felix Gomez has landed a series regular role on ABC Family drama pilot Stitchers. Written by Jeffrey A. Schechter (Overruled), Stitchers follows a young woman recruited into a covert government agency to be “stitched” into the minds of the recently deceased, using their memories to investigate murders and decipher mysteries that otherwise would have gone to the grave. Gomez, repped by SDB Partners and Symington Talent Management, will play college professor Dr. Jerome Smallwood, who teaches a grad course in computer science, in which Kirsten and her roommate, Camille, are students. Smallwood is smart and good at his job, but he’s no match for Kirsten, who can out-hack him and out-think him.

Stitchers and iZombie sound alike. I'm talking about the retrieve-memories-of-the-dead thing.
ReplyDeleteGalyntine sounds interesting, can't go wrong with 'post-apocalyptic' or Catherine Dent. :)
ReplyDeleteIt sounds pretty much like The 100.
ReplyDeleteAccept that it will be on AMC and thus cater to grown-ups and political complexities a little more.
ReplyDeleteIt also sounds a tad bit like Revolution too, but without the nanites, although they do say there is some element of science fiction, and thus there must be something a little advanced...
Oh nice Catherine Dent!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting this news. I've been eagerly awaiting news on Galyntine, since i first heard about it last year. It's been awhile since i heard anything. I beginning to fear the idea got scrapped.
ReplyDeleteDisagree, the main character for example has lived through whatever disaster struck the world. If anything it sounds more like Revolution, with the whole 'world without technology' scenario.
ReplyDeleteAlso see @DarthLocke4's comment. :)
