Good for the fans! And finally. I don't even watch the show, but the last hold out was driving me up the wall. LOL.
ReplyDeleteYes! I Am So Happy Parenthood Will Get A Proper Send Off, And I Do Hope Suburgatory Finds A New Home That Would Be Awesome.
ReplyDeleteGood. NBC should release this schedule today and now that they got Parenthood on the schedule, whenever they are ready..
ReplyDeleteWho is this person? I know that deadline said that they reached an agreement but I haven't seen any of the big sites saying that's it's renewed and looks like this person is just quoting the deadline article.
ReplyDeleteYes! Happy mothers day to me :)
ReplyDeleteAt last! Good for the show!
ReplyDeleteI hope Suburgatory and Community finds new home too. If Revolution could too, that would be great
Same here, though it wasn't nearly as bad as Hannibal last year xD
ReplyDeleteBy the way, is it renewed for 13 or 9 episodes?
ReplyDeleteI think Suburgatory will go to TBS, Community will have one last season and a movie (4 episodes in one) on Netflix or Hulu, and I don't think Revolution will sadly.
ReplyDeleteI think 13, but I am not sure, I am just guessing.
ReplyDeleteYep, I agree with that. Community is a huge hit for Hulu, so I think chances are that it will live on there, and Suburgatory could be paired with Cougar Town in TBS.
ReplyDeleteI know Revolution is a long shot, but if it could make it anywhere somehow I'd be truly happy
We won't know until it's official.(Reported by other sites like Deadline) but Deadline has been good with their info so I'll say 13 like they said with cast appearing somewhere in between 9-13 of the whole season.
ReplyDelete20th Century FOX is looking for a new home for FWBL? Do they really think someone will be interested in a show that was cancelled after like 5 episodes?
ReplyDeleteIt's about time we heard something. Thank you to both sides who could have just called it quits.
ReplyDeleteWell that's dumb, I'd have renewed the show for 9 episodes with all the actors instead of just swapping them around episodes! It could be a mess if the writers don't handle that well
ReplyDeleteI think they have settled for at least 11. I don't think it would be too noticeable, if planned correctly you wouldn't notice. I certainly think that happened this year. I'm just happy to have it back at all.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I mean I don't know what they expect from that show, do they think it can be the next Friends elsewhere? I don't see it working out, it's not like the show has a solid fanbase or anything. Shopping a show like Almost Human or as such makes way more sense since it proved to be stable through its entire run and it had a core audience, but with FWBL one simply doesn't know where it would stop falling. Besides, its audience seemed waaay more casual than the so needed hardcore fanbase needed in order to make a transition to another network
ReplyDeleteNot sure. We'll find out at Upfronts.
ReplyDeleteThat's true, it's all about how it's handled, but I don't understand the need for extra episodes if you need to move the cast around, it just seems illogical. But it's certainly great that the show is coming back next fall
ReplyDeletePlease, say it's nine.
ReplyDeleteOh Suburgatory, interesting hope it gets picked up.
ReplyDeleteDidn't get that part! FWBL is nothing to be saved
ReplyDeleteThe "Parenthood" renewal still not official. Why making a post around a tweet from someone clearly not a journalist? She just misread last Deadline's article. Nothing's official yet.
ReplyDeleteI really hope Community finds new life somewhere. I just can't deal with that underwhelming season finale being the series finale.
ReplyDeleteNo I respectfully don't agree. If you think about it, there have been episodes that only part of the cast appears or the majority of the show deals with one or two storylines and the others are just in for a few minutes. It might work out well with the writers being able to concentrate more on certain storylines and giving them more depth.
ReplyDeleteWhy would you want 9 and not 13?
ReplyDeleteExactly. Nothing "official" about this at all, at least not from that "source".
ReplyDeletegandybridge.com/GeorgeGehlbach Happy Holiday to all of the Mothers !!! Thank you, George
ReplyDeleteIf it does (I think it will) it'll be probably on Comedy Central or Hulu

ReplyDeleteBest multi-cam comedy? You've gotta be kidding me.
13 most likely but the cast won't appear in every episode. Which isn't a bad thing because the Parenthood cast is so big and they had a few episodes last season where some cast members weren't in every episode.
ReplyDeleteBecause the actors are not going to be on all 13 episodes.
ReplyDeleteIt's bad for the development having actors leaving and coming back
I agree. It's fine with me that there will be episodes without every cast member. Most of the storylines on Parenthood tend to not overlap anyway. The show will work fine without every cast member in all 13 episodes.
ReplyDeleteHow very humble of him.
ReplyDeleteHope Suburgatory finds a new home (really) !
ReplyDeleteSo we trust a 60 year old women from Ohio who is just reporting stuff from Deadline? Wow. Great source.
ReplyDeletedon't watch parenthood but great news for the fans
ReplyDeleteBut it has been renewed. Guess she was right.
ReplyDeleteIt's 13.
ReplyDeleteNBC confirmed that Parenthood was renewed for a sixth and final season for all that are wondering. :) It's episode count is officially 13 episodes and will air its final season in the fall!!! I'm very very excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy suburgatory. All of the other fans should now contact the network and encourage its renewal.
