It feels like it's much too soon for him to be in love with her. And as much as I like him, (probably in the minority here lets be fair) I'm almost certain she doesn't feel the same way. All that history and that shared love, and shared FAMILY with Deacon, that just doesn't go away over night. She needs to really work through those issues.
Luke is BORING ! Why he was added is still beyond my comprehension and sorry but tptb can push him all they want but he and Rayna have NO chemistry whatsoever !
I think it is believable for him to be in love with her, but let's face it, Rayna is not in love with him, period. Besides, I think Deacon (and all the Deacon-related issues) is someone anybody who decides to have a relationship with her will have to face. Either they are patient and comprehensive or they will always find annoying and extremely uncomfortable that she has a past with this guy, who happens to be the father of one of her daughters and who is kinda always around, and very much still in her life. So even without discussing whether or not Deacon and Rayna should be together (which I personally think should be the end game), the guy is simply there, part of her life, of her family. Either her boyfriend is ok with that, and I don't blame anyone for not being ok with it, or it won't work.
There is definitely a feeling that Luke has fallen for her but Rayna I think doesn't feel the same way. She could have some sort of feelings for him but she isn't in love with him especially with her recent family battles. Her mind isn't on a relationship right now with anyone but I just don't think she loves Luke and is still battling with her feelings for Deacon and her daughter and all the other mess she's dealing with atm.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
