MOVIES: Walton Goggins is in Tarantino's Hateful Eight

Walton Goggins (Community, The Shield, Justified) will co-star in Quentin Tarantino's next film, The Hateful Eight, and the cameras will start rolling this November (yep, Tarantino thankfully decided to do it after all). He will play a soldier in the film. Goggins previously appeared as Billy Crash in Django Unchained.

The story will depict a slice of the lives of stagecoach passengers stranded during a blizzard.

The cast of this western set in post-Civil War Wyoming includes :

- Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Django Unchained) will play a bounty hunter.
- Kurt Russell (Grindhouse's Death Proof) will also play a bounty hunter.
- Bruce Dern (Django Unchained) will play a Confederate general.
- Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2).
- James Remar (Django Unchained).
- Amber Tamblyn (Community, Django Unchained) will play a prisoner.
- Zoƫ Bell (Grindhouse's Death Proof, Django Unchained).

Tim Roth (Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction) may or may not join this cast. He participated in the live read of the screenplay (as have the actors aforementioned) so there's a part for him (he plays an Englishman, believe it or not), but he wasn't mentioned as officially attached to the film.

Walton Goggins playing with Quentin Tarantino's words once again... fans of smooth-talking criminal Boyd Crowder will surely appreciate the news.

  3. Oh hell yes, I knew he was at the recent reading that did and heard rumours Quentin was thinking of rewriting the ending and filming it. So happy, he was excellent in Django and I love that he has become part of the Tarantino gang.
