I´m disappointed. The cowl has too tiny ears. He looks like Black Panther, The Batmobile looks like a hybrid between the first keaton mobile and the nolan mobile instead of having it´s own look. This is not a good sign.
Not a huge Superman fan but even I think Snyder's version was the least inspiring version ever. The only character I was even remotely interested in in that movie was Faora-Ul. Total HBIC.
I thought Henry did a ok job as Superman but really the villains were much more interesting like you say Faora-Ul was great. I'm not a Snyder fan so I really can't get excited at DC's attempts of doing a Marvel and creating a bigger universe, put someone else in charge.
I'm a MCU girl I have to say, DC were winning with the Nolan Batman films but they have a hell of a lot to do before they can get me on board with this movie.
I know its called Batman vs Superman but are they going to be working together or fighting each other cause if there fighting then with wont be much of a movie since Superman could kill Batman with 1 finger.
The hilarious thing about that comment is that Chris Nolan worked on Man of Steel. His recurring writer (and writer of all three Dark Knight films) wrote Man of Steel. Gee, I wonder why they were similar (and they weren't as similar as people want to front).
DC is not a happy universe in general. I mean, Marvel is brighter and more candy-coated on film than it is on the page, but that's a good thing because Marvel comics are bogged down in in-feuds and politics over the last decade and a half. If you're going to do the DCU justice, TDKR is a good place to look and that's as grim as it gets.
Me too. I'm sick of the arguments. I like both, I don't see why everybody else can't. I saw a Zach Snyder interview where he said the exact same thing, that he was a huge Marvel fan and he likes good movies for good movies.
I don't think, I think he stuck to the script. I've watched him in a few other things and although Supes was quite bland, it's obviously how he was written to be.
Oh, no, I have no doubt he did the best he could with the script. I just meant that while he looked like Superman he never felt like Superman due to the script being so poor.
I think he has armour on underneath if you see the brighter version of this pic you will see it. Trust me after seeing a pic of Affleck just the other day the guy is no where near fat.
Love it, as a Batman diehard it is the best version suit wise of Batman on screen yet (my personal opinion) The Batmobile looks like a mix between Nolan and Burton and comics which I also love. Can't wait for this movie, still two years away though!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
looks cool, they seem to be going the DarK Knight Returns route with the costume. me likey
ReplyDeleteas long as this distances itself from the Nolan-esque 'gritty, no humor, nothing too obscure' formula I'm all for this
Not impressed by the helmet at all but the suit looks ok
ReplyDeletehe looks like Fatman
ReplyDeleteHe looks like he hasn't been in the field for too long and has gained weight.
ReplyDeleteMaybe its the angle but I agree with others he looks more erm solid than muscular
ReplyDeletegritty, no humor, nothing too obscure'
ReplyDeleteIt probably wont judging by Man of Steel which tried to be Nolan without the talent so was just grim for the sake of it.
Funny and true... :)
ReplyDeleteBatman doesn't wear a helmet. He wears a cowl.
ReplyDeleteBleeding Cool has a brighter version of the image:

and CBR has a close-up:

ReplyDeleteIt also looks like they went back to the cowl design that makes it impossible for him to turn his head.
ReplyDeleteBetter look

ReplyDeleteCavill had the perfect look but I never felt like he was Superman.
ReplyDeleteThey remind me of cat ears.
ReplyDelete...maybe the film is really...Catman vs Superman!
I'm a MCU girl I have to say, DC were winning with the Nolan Batman films but they have a hell of a lot to do before they can get me on board with this movie.
ReplyDeleteJe je je si batman gordito
ReplyDeleteI will never understand the stupid thing about "winning". People like different movies/characters. I'm so tired of the team Marvel/team DC crap.
ReplyDeleteAwful, who'd have thought?
ReplyDeleteI know its called Batman vs Superman but are they going to be working together or fighting each other cause if there fighting then with wont be much of a movie since Superman could kill Batman with 1 finger.
ReplyDeletesame difference

God, just looking at Ben's chin in that outfit disgusts me. smh
ReplyDeleteHe definitely looks bloated. First Ben as bruce with this terrible picture, then Channing Tatum as Gambit, wtf are they doing??? ughhh.
ReplyDeleteHelp. They are killing my casting dreams.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like armour underneath if you've seen the brighter pics
ReplyDeleteLooks like to me he has armour underneath
