In The Flesh - Episode 2.02 - Preview & Teasers
6 May 2014
In The Flesh Reviews SSPoor Jem's days of trying to fit in with teenagers three years her junior at school look like they could be at an end when they start to study the Rising in her history class and it’s revealed that she is an old HVF war hero. Suddenly she goes from being the misunderstood loner to Miss Popular who hangs out with the bitchy crowd. But with her undiagnosed Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome getting worse surely it’s only a matter of time before all this backfires, and we all know the saying ‘the faster you rise, the harder you fall'…ouch!
Meanwhile, as we saw in the sneak peek earlier this week, the PDS Sufferers are gathered in the Village Hall to watch a video about paying back a debt to society, and have also had a travel ban imposed on them, which scuppers Kieren's immediate plans to move abroad. Instead he finds himself paired up with Simon on the Give Back Scheme, where they find themselves bonding somewhat and agreeing to meet up at an Undead party that the disciple is throwing at the farm later that evening. Of course, there are ulterior motives for these get togethers; Simon and Maxine seem to be after similar ends, and both aren't adverse to playing dirty to achieve this, yet only one seems to be getting the desired results so far.
Amy is still very concerned about her possible immunity to Neurotriptyline, the effects may be becoming more obvious to those she is closest to, but she still takes steps to cover up the worst of it and shoulder the burden alone. Being the crazy gal she is she decides that the best way to deal with it is to get high on some sheep brains; hey, at least she’s not resorting to Blue Oblivion like some others who follow the ULA right! Mind you, if she were to find out what a certain councillor was up to in his spare time, who knows what she would do about that…
Episode 2 airs at 10pm on Sunday 11th May on BBC Three and BBC Three HD, and on Saturday May 17th on BBC America at 10pm/9c. Below are a few dialogue teasers to see you through until then, don't forget to come back to vote in our poll after the episode and let us know what you thought.

Good episode this week, great to get some more info on Jem and what she's going through, I fear she's going to get a lot worse before she's better though. Kieren and Amy are also on a bit of a rocky road, can't wait to see what's in store for them.
