Hmmm I am REALLY glad that season three will home in more aptly on Hannibal and Hannibal Rising, but I do wonder what he means by "significant" changes to the origin story? I hope Hannibal is still a victim or this won't work. I'm going to hope for the best since I like what he's done so far and because Fuller's answer's to questions are exactly how I see them as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm actually glad they're changing things from that novel as it sucked. Considering they have mentioned Misha and Lady Murasaki, I take it those elements will remain.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind the time line up grade, but to me it's important that Hannibal is still a victim via his sister's death (like if they would have Hannibal just suddenly chose to ---- and --- his sister, as opposed to someone(s) else, I would HATE that) and looses everything and that there is still a revenge story there. I think there's certainly away to make it more horrific and tragic, like if somehow Hannibal's Uncle would be to blame for things instead, I just don't want them to take away Hannibal's humanity, because to me that was the whole point of Harris work...
ReplyDeleteYes, good points.
