YAY!!! And this breaks Bryan Fuller's two season record!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Now i don't mind catching up with the rest of S2 that is on my dvrd!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Some joy at last amongst the doom of unnecessary and cruel cancellations.

  17. Pablo Troncoso9 May 2014 at 18:47

Great! This show is pretty great!
And finally a Bryan Fuller show goes beyond 2 season! The curse has been lifted!

    ReplyDelete
  18. This was early, I wasn't expect more renewals for a couple of hours.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Yes. That's what I thought.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Hannibal is such a good show. I would have liked it if a cable channel picked it up, but I'm happy that I can still enjoy some more of this amazing show.

  21. EuphemiaWonderland9 May 2014 at 18:49

Now can Lifetime sell them the Clarice Starling rights? Nobody is going to care about whatever show they do about her.

    ReplyDelete
  22. This year the Cancellation Bear has been kind to me. The only show that I watch that has been cancelled has been Trophy Wife, and since I already expected it, it doesn't hurt that much.

    ReplyDelete
  23. CancellationBear9 May 2014 at 18:52

    Well...shit.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yes! So glad to hear this!

  25. Red Dragon's premise will be four season four. Original material is set up for the first three seasons.

"Fuller plans for the show to run for seven seasons: the first three consisting of original material, the fourth covering Red Dragon, the fifth The Silence of the Lambs, the sixth Hannibal, and the seventh an original storyline resolving Hannibal's ending."

For future reference, what do you watch?

    ReplyDelete
  27. You couldn't eat the cannibal. HeHe!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Considering the "sex scene" from last week, Fuller seems to be able to make exactly the show he wants to make. I do think the right cable channel might be able to build the audience but I really don't see the difference in terms of the quality of the show.

    ReplyDelete
  29. CancellationBear9 May 2014 at 18:59

People are happy. I don't like that.

    ReplyDelete
  30. YES! Now I can't even be angry about other cancellations.

    ReplyDelete
  31. CancellationBear9 May 2014 at 18:59

    Don't be so sure.

    ReplyDelete
  32. THANK YOU NBC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

    ReplyDelete
  33. ΝΑΙ ΡΕ ΜΟΥΝΙΑ!!!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Come on. For every bad show cancelled or renewed, we lost some very good shows. How much more do you want as sacrifice?

    ReplyDelete
  35. News coming in that Revolution has been cancelled.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I am because I'm talking about my own feelings :D

    ReplyDelete
  37. I still think we might start the beginnings of it at the end of next season

    ReplyDelete
  38. CancellationBear9 May 2014 at 19:02

Feelings can change, and there are still more than a few other really good shows that are still undecided.

    ReplyDelete
  39. CancellationBear9 May 2014 at 19:03

I've got a few in mind.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Panos Nestoras9 May 2014 at 19:03

    Awesome!!

    ReplyDelete
  41. They fucking canceled Revolution...

    ReplyDelete
  42. You might not be saying that in a few minutes/ hours. But i agree thanks for this renewal.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Woohoo! Such unexpected news, I didn't expect a renewal this early.

    ReplyDelete
  44. It doesn't really matter regarding MY feelings all those good other shows you're talking about, because your opinion and my opinion are not the same, everything I wanted to be renewed has been and the things I watch that have been cancelled I saw comming and came to terms with it, so please, go do something more interesting than trying to write about thing you don't know anything about.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Phew!! Hope the rest of the season steps up its game though, been a bit disappointed in the last couple of episodes.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I know (and I'm sure I'll be mad), but in all honesty this was the show I needed to get renewed.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Yes!! I'm solo happy right now! :D

    ReplyDelete
  48. Yeah, bitch! Don't got no more BrBa, but Hanni is in da house.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I even think they're going to re-adapt their plans and Red Dragon will be Season 3.

    ReplyDelete
  50. CancellationBear9 May 2014 at 19:16

You took that way too seriously.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I'm sure they did. They only had a 45% chance, where Hannibal had 65%. I love Revolution and think we deserved an ending, because it seems it may end on a cliffhanger, but I also think they could gotten resolution (come to where we are) sooner, as I think they repeated themselves and dragged it out too long. Ultimately Hannibal is way better written and because I'm a fan of the source material, it's something I would really like to see play out in one grandiose story in a way the books and films never really could.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Over Revolution NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Yeaaaah!!! This is awesome news!! Love HANNILBAL one of the best series on TV and easily the best of NBC :)

    ReplyDelete
  54. Personally I think it would be a better choice, but the problem lies in his need of buying time because Lifestime is holding SOL rights so Fuller can't really introduce Starling and I would assume that he would want to do that a little earlier too right in the middle or end of The Red Dragon stuff...

    ReplyDelete
  55. Yeah, I'm afraid of that too.
But I can't see how they can do another season with Hannibal not incarcerated if the opening scene with Hannibal and Jack fighting it's actually in the season finale.

    ReplyDelete
  56. not my problem. My favourite never gets cancelled,i have 100% track record up until now!!

    ReplyDelete
  57. The popular theory on Jack is "comma"...which leaves Will to defend for himself and/or some stand in (like Cynthia Nixon's character)

    ReplyDelete
  58. Debsterforever9 May 2014 at 19:33

    :)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

ANOTHER SEASON OF THE BEST SHOW IN TV HISTORY (ALONG WITH BREAKING BAD)!!!

Don't see the possibility that this show could become better than it already is. But I thought the same after the great first season -> and it became BETTER THAN AWESOME

    ReplyDelete
  59. Wasn't aware of that. I'm not sure if I like it XD
That sure looks like a "time-saver".

    ReplyDelete
  60. This news makes my day!!! :D

    ReplyDelete
  61. And you took too much trouble for writing a "joke" or whatever you want to call it, I'm not mad I asure you but there are somethings I feel the need to clarify and reply to.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Puta que pariu!!

    ReplyDelete
  63. This makes me so happy, just did a little dance with a squeak routine...

    ReplyDelete
  64. To be honest I was kinda hoping it would get cancelled so it could get picked up by another channel like FX or even Netflix. As long as its on NBC that godawful killer of the week format will continue. I hate it.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Sorry Bear. Better luck next year. #fannibals FTW

    ReplyDelete
  66. Totally agree, they manage to exceed my expectations as well even when I think they can't be better.

    ReplyDelete
  67. SVU earlier this week & now Hannibal - it's rare but; I love u NBC!!!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Katarzyna Skop9 May 2014 at 20:18

    At least NBC renewed Hannibal.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Thank god it got renewed.

    ReplyDelete
  70. HAHAHAHA, dare you CancellationBear!

    ReplyDelete
  71. Victoria Llanos9 May 2014 at 20:47

Well, at least one of my shows survived the NBC slaughter party.

    ReplyDelete
  72. They definitely dragged it on far too long, but now if we get an ending it will be half assed, but it will probably just be a cliffhanger without an ending...

    ReplyDelete
  73. Well, looks like I can count this show off my list. Had watched like 1st half of Season One, but there is so much great new and old TV, that it didn't interest me any more.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Best. News. Ever.
Soo happy this got renewed. Best show on network TV

    ReplyDelete
  75. Jéssica Silveira Gandara9 May 2014 at 21:04

    YESSSSS!!!!!! This made my day!!!

    ReplyDelete
  76. I didn't care for the first half. When they came back from hiatus it was so much better,it really took off. I'm sure that if they knew they would have been canceled they wouldn't have dragged it out and had these fillers....But now,its neither here or there ...

    ReplyDelete
  77. Yep. From the press release it looks like a pending war with California is the fork in the road for opening into the next season, as opposed to just dealing with the Patriots :/

    ReplyDelete
  78. Yeah I have mixed feelings about it too. Just a theory at this point, but it makes sense if Fuller is still sticking to his plan.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I know, and you would think he would support animal rights?!

    ReplyDelete
  80. Bearded Timbino9 May 2014 at 21:43

Seriously the best news ever for the best show on tv. Delectable dishes will be cooked up for another year to come!!

    ReplyDelete
  81. LOL, given what the subject matter of THIS show is, made your "slaughter partuy" comment sound beautifully ironic!

    ReplyDelete
  82. I'm really happy for Hannibal! Wasn't really feeling the last few episodes, but I still love the show.

    ReplyDelete
  83. The beginnings of it in next season is most likely going to work anyways as there needs to be time at the end of season three and the beginning of season four where Hannibal is already in his cell and "used" to it by the time we get to the Red Dragon story.

    ReplyDelete
  84. I'll be greatly shocked if that were the case when Fuller already set up seven seasons. We don't need the final two seasons to be original material as as soon as the Hannibal season is over, one season with original material is plenty to give the series closure.

    ReplyDelete
  85. That is also another reason why most likely Fuller is planning on making the first three seasons original material.

    ReplyDelete
  86. You go away for a few days and you come back only to see a cancellation spree, this made my day though.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Looks like Hannibal got a new rug...

    ReplyDelete
  88. Sometimes working within limits produces the best results.

    ReplyDelete
  89. If Hannibal had gotten cancelled and Beauty and the Beast renewed, I'd pretty much give up on the world. But I guess there's hope after all.

    ReplyDelete
  90. I'm gonna go kill the next spider I see to celebrate this news. heck the next cricket or anything else that comes at me is gonna die tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  91. I'm so fucking happy. Finally one of Bryan Fuller's shows gets a third season. More importantly more Hannibal. But no Community. This is a very bittersweet day indeed.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Lifetime is doing a show about Clarice? Ugh that'll be horrible. It'll be like what people thought Hannibal would be a cheap cash in.

    ReplyDelete
  93. How could you take Community?

    ReplyDelete
  94. Really I love the direction they've been going in.

    ReplyDelete
  95. YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!

Of all the shows I'm watching, this and Parenthood are the only shows I care about being renewed.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Excellent! So glad to see this renewed :D

    ReplyDelete
  97. It depends on what fails10 May 2014 at 16:59

    Good news.

    Give and take away, NBC.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Community goes, at least Hannibal ducked NBC's ax. :)

    ReplyDelete
  99. Caught up to the current airing last week after starting 2 months ago. Though I would advise you not to watch too many episodes in quick succession. Otherwise it could get depressing very fast. Unless you are on a high and want to lessen your endorphin levels. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  100. I learned its best to take this series in small doses, very small doses...
