Hannibal is such a good show. I would have liked it if a cable channel picked it up, but I'm happy that I can still enjoy some more of this amazing show.
This year the Cancellation Bear has been kind to me. The only show that I watch that has been cancelled has been Trophy Wife, and since I already expected it, it doesn't hurt that much.
Red Dragon's premise will be four season four. Original material is set up for the first three seasons.
"Fuller plans for the show to run for seven seasons: the first three consisting of original material, the fourth covering Red Dragon, the fifth The Silence of the Lambs, the sixth Hannibal, and the seventh an original storyline resolving Hannibal's ending."
Considering the "sex scene" from last week, Fuller seems to be able to make exactly the show he wants to make. I do think the right cable channel might be able to build the audience but I really don't see the difference in terms of the quality of the show.
It doesn't really matter regarding MY feelings all those good other shows you're talking about, because your opinion and my opinion are not the same, everything I wanted to be renewed has been and the things I watch that have been cancelled I saw comming and came to terms with it, so please, go do something more interesting than trying to write about thing you don't know anything about.
I'm sure they did. They only had a 45% chance, where Hannibal had 65%. I love Revolution and think we deserved an ending, because it seems it may end on a cliffhanger, but I also think they could gotten resolution (come to where we are) sooner, as I think they repeated themselves and dragged it out too long. Ultimately Hannibal is way better written and because I'm a fan of the source material, it's something I would really like to see play out in one grandiose story in a way the books and films never really could.
Personally I think it would be a better choice, but the problem lies in his need of buying time because Lifestime is holding SOL rights so Fuller can't really introduce Starling and I would assume that he would want to do that a little earlier too right in the middle or end of The Red Dragon stuff...
Yeah, I'm afraid of that too. But I can't see how they can do another season with Hannibal not incarcerated if the opening scene with Hannibal and Jack fighting it's actually in the season finale.
ANOTHER SEASON OF THE BEST SHOW IN TV HISTORY (ALONG WITH BREAKING BAD)!!!
Don't see the possibility that this show could become better than it already is. But I thought the same after the great first season -> and it became BETTER THAN AWESOME
And you took too much trouble for writing a "joke" or whatever you want to call it, I'm not mad I asure you but there are somethings I feel the need to clarify and reply to.
To be honest I was kinda hoping it would get cancelled so it could get picked up by another channel like FX or even Netflix. As long as its on NBC that godawful killer of the week format will continue. I hate it.
They definitely dragged it on far too long, but now if we get an ending it will be half assed, but it will probably just be a cliffhanger without an ending...
Well, looks like I can count this show off my list. Had watched like 1st half of Season One, but there is so much great new and old TV, that it didn't interest me any more.
I didn't care for the first half. When they came back from hiatus it was so much better,it really took off. I'm sure that if they knew they would have been canceled they wouldn't have dragged it out and had these fillers....But now,its neither here or there ...
Yep. From the press release it looks like a pending war with California is the fork in the road for opening into the next season, as opposed to just dealing with the Patriots :/
The beginnings of it in next season is most likely going to work anyways as there needs to be time at the end of season three and the beginning of season four where Hannibal is already in his cell and "used" to it by the time we get to the Red Dragon story.
I'll be greatly shocked if that were the case when Fuller already set up seven seasons. We don't need the final two seasons to be original material as as soon as the Hannibal season is over, one season with original material is plenty to give the series closure.
I'm so fucking happy. Finally one of Bryan Fuller's shows gets a third season. More importantly more Hannibal. But no Community. This is a very bittersweet day indeed.
Caught up to the current airing last week after starting 2 months ago. Though I would advise you not to watch too many episodes in quick succession. Otherwise it could get depressing very fast. Unless you are on a high and want to lessen your endorphin levels. LOL
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!
ReplyDeleteThis makes me so happy!!!
ReplyDeleteYay!! best news of the day!! so happy!!

ReplyDeletesweetness.... great news
ReplyDeleteYes! Yes! Yes! Yes!
ReplyDeleteHOOTY HOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYAY!!! And this breaks Bryan Fuller's two season record!
ReplyDeleteNow i don't mind catching up with the rest of S2 that is on my dvrd!
ReplyDeleteSome joy at last amongst the doom of unnecessary and cruel cancellations.
ReplyDeleteGreat! This show is pretty great!
ReplyDeleteAnd finally a Bryan Fuller show goes beyond 2 season! The curse has been lifted!
This was early, I wasn't expect more renewals for a couple of hours.
ReplyDeleteYes. That's what I thought.
ReplyDeleteHannibal is such a good show. I would have liked it if a cable channel picked it up, but I'm happy that I can still enjoy some more of this amazing show.
ReplyDeleteNow can Lifetime sell them the Clarice Starling rights? Nobody is going to care about whatever show they do about her.
ReplyDeleteThis year the Cancellation Bear has been kind to me. The only show that I watch that has been cancelled has been Trophy Wife, and since I already expected it, it doesn't hurt that much.
ReplyDeleteWell...shit.
ReplyDeleteYes! So glad to hear this!
ReplyDeleteRed Dragon's premise will be four season four. Original material is set up for the first three seasons.
ReplyDelete"Fuller plans for the show to run for seven seasons: the first three consisting of original material, the fourth covering Red Dragon, the fifth The Silence of the Lambs, the sixth Hannibal, and the seventh an original storyline resolving Hannibal's ending."
For future reference, what do you watch?
ReplyDeleteYou couldn't eat the cannibal. HeHe!!
ReplyDeleteConsidering the "sex scene" from last week, Fuller seems to be able to make exactly the show he wants to make. I do think the right cable channel might be able to build the audience but I really don't see the difference in terms of the quality of the show.
ReplyDeletePeople are happy. I don't like that.
ReplyDeleteYES! Now I can't even be angry about other cancellations.
ReplyDeleteDon't be so sure.
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU NBC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
ReplyDeleteΝΑΙ ΡΕ ΜΟΥΝΙΑ!!!
ReplyDeleteCome on. For every bad show cancelled or renewed, we lost some very good shows. How much more do you want as sacrifice?
ReplyDeleteNews coming in that Revolution has been cancelled.
ReplyDeleteI am because I'm talking about my own feelings :D
ReplyDeleteI still think we might start the beginnings of it at the end of next season
ReplyDeleteFeelings can change, and there are still more than a few other really good shows that are still undecided.
ReplyDeleteI've got a few in mind.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!!
ReplyDeleteThey fucking canceled Revolution...
ReplyDeleteYou might not be saying that in a few minutes/ hours. But i agree thanks for this renewal.
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! Such unexpected news, I didn't expect a renewal this early.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't really matter regarding MY feelings all those good other shows you're talking about, because your opinion and my opinion are not the same, everything I wanted to be renewed has been and the things I watch that have been cancelled I saw comming and came to terms with it, so please, go do something more interesting than trying to write about thing you don't know anything about.
ReplyDeletePhew!! Hope the rest of the season steps up its game though, been a bit disappointed in the last couple of episodes.
ReplyDeleteI know (and I'm sure I'll be mad), but in all honesty this was the show I needed to get renewed.
ReplyDeleteYes!! I'm solo happy right now! :D
ReplyDeleteYeah, bitch! Don't got no more BrBa, but Hanni is in da house.
ReplyDeleteI even think they're going to re-adapt their plans and Red Dragon will be Season 3.
ReplyDeleteYou took that way too seriously.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they did.
ReplyDeleteOver Revolution NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYeaaaah!!! This is awesome news!! Love HANNILBAL one of the best series on TV and easily the best of NBC :)
ReplyDeletePersonally I think it would be a better choice, but the problem lies in his need of buying time because Lifestime is holding SOL rights so Fuller can't really introduce Starling and I would assume that he would want to do that a little earlier too right in the middle or end of The Red Dragon stuff...
ReplyDeleteGreat news!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm afraid of that too.
ReplyDeleteBut I can't see how they can do another season with Hannibal not incarcerated if the opening scene with Hannibal and Jack fighting it's actually in the season finale.
not my problem. My favourite never gets cancelled,i have 100% track record up until now!!
ReplyDeleteThe popular theory on Jack is "comma"...which leaves Will to defend for himself and/or some stand in (like Cynthia Nixon's character)
ReplyDelete:)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
ReplyDeleteANOTHER SEASON OF THE BEST SHOW IN TV HISTORY (ALONG WITH BREAKING BAD)!!!
Don't see the possibility that this show could become better than it already is. But I thought the same after the great first season -> and it became BETTER THAN AWESOME
Wasn't aware of that. I'm not sure if I like it XD
ReplyDeleteThat sure looks like a "time-saver".
This news makes my day!!! :D
ReplyDeleteAnd you took too much trouble for writing a "joke" or whatever you want to call it, I'm not mad I asure you but there are somethings I feel the need to clarify and reply to.
ReplyDeletePuta que pariu!!
ReplyDeleteThis makes me so happy, just did a little dance with a squeak routine...
ReplyDeleteTo be honest I was kinda hoping it would get cancelled so it could get picked up by another channel like FX or even Netflix. As long as its on NBC that godawful killer of the week format will continue. I hate it.
ReplyDeleteSorry Bear. Better luck next year. #fannibals FTW
ReplyDeleteTotally agree, they manage to exceed my expectations as well even when I think they can't be better.
ReplyDeleteSVU earlier this week & now Hannibal - it's rare but; I love u NBC!!!
ReplyDeleteAt least NBC renewed Hannibal.
ReplyDeleteThank god it got renewed.
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHA, dare you CancellationBear!
ReplyDeleteWell, at least one of my shows survived the NBC slaughter party.
ReplyDeleteThey definitely dragged it on far too long, but now if we get an ending it will be half assed, but it will probably just be a cliffhanger without an ending...
ReplyDeleteWell, looks like I can count this show off my list. Had watched like 1st half of Season One, but there is so much great new and old TV, that it didn't interest me any more.
ReplyDeleteBest. News. Ever.
ReplyDeleteSoo happy this got renewed. Best show on network TV
YESSSSS!!!!!! This made my day!!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't care for the first half. When they came back from hiatus it was so much better,it really took off. I'm sure that if they knew they would have been canceled they wouldn't have dragged it out and had these fillers....But now,its neither here or there ...
ReplyDeleteYep. From the press release it looks like a pending war with California is the fork in the road for opening into the next season, as opposed to just dealing with the Patriots :/
ReplyDeleteYeah I have mixed feelings about it too. Just a theory at this point, but it makes sense if Fuller is still sticking to his plan.
ReplyDeleteI know, and you would think he would support animal rights?!
ReplyDeleteSeriously the best news ever for the best show on tv. Delectable dishes will be cooked up for another year to come!!
ReplyDeleteLOL, given what the subject matter of THIS show is, made your "slaughter partuy" comment sound beautifully ironic!
ReplyDeleteI'm really happy for Hannibal! Wasn't really feeling the last few episodes, but I still love the show.
ReplyDeleteThe beginnings of it in next season is most likely going to work anyways as there needs to be time at the end of season three and the beginning of season four where Hannibal is already in his cell and "used" to it by the time we get to the Red Dragon story.
ReplyDeleteI'll be greatly shocked if that were the case when Fuller already set up seven seasons. We don't need the final two seasons to be original material as as soon as the Hannibal season is over, one season with original material is plenty to give the series closure.
ReplyDeleteThat is also another reason why most likely Fuller is planning on making the first three seasons original material.
ReplyDeleteYou go away for a few days and you come back only to see a cancellation spree, this made my day though.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Hannibal got a new rug...
ReplyDeleteSometimes working within limits produces the best results.
ReplyDeleteIf Hannibal had gotten cancelled and Beauty and the Beast renewed, I'd pretty much give up on the world. But I guess there's hope after all.
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna go kill the next spider I see to celebrate this news. heck the next cricket or anything else that comes at me is gonna die tonight.
ReplyDeleteI'm so fucking happy. Finally one of Bryan Fuller's shows gets a third season. More importantly more Hannibal. But no Community. This is a very bittersweet day indeed.
ReplyDeleteLifetime is doing a show about Clarice? Ugh that'll be horrible. It'll be like what people thought Hannibal would be a cheap cash in.
ReplyDeleteHow could you take Community?
ReplyDeleteReally I love the direction they've been going in.
ReplyDeleteYESSSSSSSSS!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOf all the shows I'm watching, this and Parenthood are the only shows I care about being renewed.
Excellent! So glad to see this renewed :D
ReplyDeleteGood news.
ReplyDeleteGive and take away, NBC.
Community goes, at least Hannibal ducked NBC's ax. :)
ReplyDeleteCaught up to the current airing last week after starting 2 months ago. Though I would advise you not to watch too many episodes in quick succession. Otherwise it could get depressing very fast. Unless you are on a high and want to lessen your endorphin levels. LOL
ReplyDeleteI learned its best to take this series in small doses, very small doses...
ReplyDelete
