I am torn between a couple of scenes here. I thought everyone insisting on Nick wearing sunglasses to the officiate was hilarious. Monroe's dad's toast was super sweet and DeEtta gets bonus points for ruining that hideous dress. Still I think I'm going with either Teen Grimm killing Rogue Ponyboy or showing up at the wedding, although the reaction in the car was more poignant.
Yes, all people get old. You will too one day! :). His face is pretty much identifable for me in any role he plays.
I saw some old show the other day called Kindred the Embraced based on some game. He's a detective in that (basically a really early vampire show) and hes quite young there.
Its a shame in a way. He seemed really prolific in the 90's and then straight to video/other in the 00's. Now its good to see him back.
Teen Grimm has revitalized the show for me. I hope she stays around for awhile. The scenes that annoyed me the most were the ones in which they brought up that hideous love spell plot from last season again. It would be best for all if everyone got selective amnesia about it.
i think it might of been one of Kelly Rutherford's first ever tv roles?I remember her in Brisco County Jr and both shows were around 1996 I think.
It had an actor in it called Mark Frankel who was quite good but died in a Motorcycle accident after they had wrapped 8 episodes of the full season. The show never recovered.
C Thomas Howell Played the cop investigating the 'Vampires' of LA. It was a strange show in that there was a rulership amongst the vamprires and clans. I remember Stacy Haiduk was there and Brian Thompson (in one of his few roles where he gets actual dialogue and not just for menace time). Im sure you could probably find whole episodes on Youtube.
Its also strange in that its a Spelling production (yeah he of the 90210 cult). He produced it and Im sure Mark Starr was in on it too. So treat it more .. less on screen violence and more relationship angles. (Although there is violence when there needs to be).
I picked other because I couldn't pick just one. :-) My best scene were - the frantic attempt to explain why Nick was wearing sunglasses. The wedding. And Teen Grimm's arrival.
Kindred was based on (inspired by?) a role playing game. The vampire world in this show operated very similar to the mob. There were a few really rough ep...half or just under half. But the quality was really picking up by ep 6. They were settling on what the show was. Unfortunately, it wasn't soon enough keep the from being pulled. If you have a weekend to kill and I recommend it. I enjoyed it.
It is definitely the event I am most looking forward to seeing the consequences of next year. Probably because the Grimm Gang not telling him is still the most irksome thing about this season to me.
I am just so happy that Rosalee got a dress worthy of her. It was going to be hard to take the wedding scenes seriously if she had been turned out in that monstrosity of grandma's.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteI loved seeing Hank walk Juliet down the aisle, but Wu's discovering Trubel's book was a powerful scene. The sunglass scene was hysterical. Lol
ReplyDeleteI voted for the glasses scene.
ReplyDeleteSome elements of this finale just annoyed me so much that I am not exactly looking forward to next season.
All of the Adalind elements? Cause that's what annoyed me.
ReplyDeleteAhh, shit. That was C. Thomas Howell? Didn't recognize him. Man he's getting old or I am, LOL!!!

He's a great actor. Red Dawn is still one of my favorite films of the 80's
ReplyDeleteSame here. Not even excited for season 4 anymore. :/
ReplyDeleteeverything......screw the haters !
ReplyDeleteHa Ha! I second that. I think the parts with Teen Grimm beheading the FBI agent and then wreaking havoc at the wedding were my favorite parts.
ReplyDeleteI really only know him from his 80's stuff. Was Kindred any good? I keep hearing about it.
ReplyDeleteI ended up going with Wu myself. Mostly because I want him to smack the Grimm Gang for leaving him out in the cold that way/

ReplyDeleteNo need to call anyone a hater. People are entitled to their opinions. What was your favorite part?
ReplyDeleteThose were two of my favorite parts as well. Teen Grimm has added new life to the show for me.

My favorite part was Wu finding the Grimm books. Definitely the most exciting thing to happen in the finale in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteI picked other because I couldn't pick just one. :-) My best scene were - the frantic attempt to explain why Nick was wearing sunglasses. The wedding. And Teen Grimm's arrival.
ReplyDeleteOh, an additional suggestion I'd make would be Monroe confessing that both he and Rosale *hated* that dress. :-)
ReplyDeleteI really liked Kindred. It had a really rocky start but was starting to find its way when it got canceled. He was great in it.
ReplyDeletelol.. me tool Looked up C Thomas Howell on IMDB and discovered he's only 4 years older than I am.

ReplyDeleteI voted for Wu's discovery because everything every other cliffhanger appears to be fixable.
ReplyDeleteThat was the very last scene I took off to make for 12 options. I loved that scene.
ReplyDeleteIt is definitely the event I am most looking forward to seeing the consequences of next year. Probably because the Grimm Gang not telling him is still the most irksome thing about this season to me.
ReplyDeleteThe sunglasses scene made me laugh so hard. It was a great way to open the episode.
ReplyDeleteI expect Nick's non-Grimmness to be resolved about as quickly as Zombie Nick, so yeah, I think you are completely right.
ReplyDeleteI am just so happy that Rosalee got a dress worthy of her. It was going to be hard to take the wedding scenes seriously if she had been turned out in that monstrosity of grandma's.
ReplyDelete6 years for me. I remember having the hugest crushon him when The Outsiders came out.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I'll put it on the list.
ReplyDeleteSpelling had some great TV hits. i adored Hart to Hart when I was a kid and Vega$ continues to be a guilty pleasure.
ReplyDeleteI really don't understand why Trubel is referred to as Teen Grimm. The actress looks closer to 30 than 20 and she is definitely not a teen.
ReplyDeleteWu seeing familiar things in a Grimm book :) the scene I've been hoping for this whole season.
