I haven't watched the pilot yet, but I can't wait to! God, this show is going to be fun.
ReplyDeleteI watched the pilot and as someone who hasn't seen BMW and doesn't fall into the Disney Channel demographic, I found it...okay. The writing is a little awkward at times but it certainly has the potential to grow. :) it could be the next GLC.
ReplyDeleteWas a bit let down by the pilot (not that I'm anywhere near it's demo, mind you). All of the "make it your world" references were so over-done, and the Mr Fini cameo was totally strange and random (and at the very last second). I'm sure kids will enjoy it though, I'll probably check in again when Eric or Sean make their appearances later in the season
ReplyDeleteWho's Mr. Fini?
ReplyDeletewoops, Mr. Feeny *
ReplyDeleteSounds like a familiar plot to what Cory and Sean did when they were younger.
ReplyDeleteIf Cory is a teacher, then what does Topanga do? I think this show will be cute but I prob won't really watch it just a few eps here and there. I loved BMW when I was younger, so I'll look out for characters from the original.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait.
ReplyDeleteIn the last episode of BMW Topanga got an internship at a law firm and they moved to New York so my guess is she's a lawyer or maybe she quit law to be a full time mother. I hope this show lives up to the BMW.
ReplyDeletecool. I couldn't remember the very last ep. It's been so long since I watched BMW even though tv has been doing re-runs ever since GMW was announced.
ReplyDeleteThis looks great, I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteYeah, she works in law.
ReplyDelete"Topanga, a loving and devoted mother, searches for a way to balance the
demands of her successful law practice with the needs of her family and
ultimately becomes involved in an interesting business venture."

The pilot was a a good start. I just hope they tone down Farkle. Or write him out completely in a season or two like Minkis.
