TV’s most globe-trotting series is preparing to add another country to its passport. HBO’s Game of Thrones is looking to film part of season 5 in Spain. The HBO fantasy hit is currently scouting locations in the Andalusia region of the country and is deep in talks with a local film commission.

So many people thought Dorne would be cut, even I started wondering if it would be included and I'm a self-admitted Dorne-lover!
I am greatly looking forward to meeting the Sand Snakes on my screen! Yes, I expect more than oen as many have speculated... Also looking forward to seeing Doran Martell and Arianne Martell... I wonder if any of Arianne's friends will make it to the series.. and if so, how many?

ReplyDeleteExactly. Some of the islands are perfect for Dorne. And we already now how Oberyn's accent sounds like, so it makes sense.

ReplyDeleteThis season is approximately the end of Act I and the beginning of Act II of the saga.
In Act II the world expands a bit more giving us deeper looks into one or two regions we have glimpsed and then adds two or three new locations as many characters go on tranformative quests. Some literal traveling to new places as others take on new roles in the places they are. In the next season or so we should be introduced to the important players and pieces on the board.
Then the multiple story arcs really start to converge as characters come together and move into position for the endgame in Act III.
Could also be parts of Essos based on a certain characters Book 5 storyline
ReplyDeleteToo obvious this is most likely about Dorne. Knew it even before reading the comments XD. Too be honest I could live without Dorne. But I'm interested in getting to see Doran Martell. I still don't think what's happening in Dorne is particularly exciting, but DM is a major player and I guess he has to be introduced at some point.
