Fox’s Simpsons/Family Guy crossover will air this Sept with an NFL lead-in. Of course, Homer and Peter get in a big fight. #FOXUpfront

According to TV By The Numbers, it will be an hour long.
So far, #Gracepoint is a carbon copy of #Broadchurch - except Americanized. Weird to relive exact scenes from the original… #Upfronts

While this season will be Glee's last, it isn't clear exactly when it will return -- nor is it clear how much of the final 22-episode order will air. "The order currently is for 22, but we're actually going to sit down with Ryan [Murphy] and really talk about how we're going to end it and figure that out," he said, adding: "The advantage of having it on later in the season is that we don't have to feel the pressure of delivering. We can do them in a row. We're going to sit down and talk about exactly the best way to end the show and how many [episodes] that is." That the musical series got a two-season pickup the last time around was itself "a business negotiation," said Reilly, who was asked about the ratings tumble the series has taken of late.

Reilly pushes how both Gracepoint and Wayward Pines will tell complete stories and resolve mysteries in 10 episodes, "not five years."

It's nice that Glee will air without hiatus
ReplyDeleteEverytime FOX gets a new network president they all basically say "I am not going to be the one that cancels The Simpsons" lol....who knows when it will finally end.
ReplyDelete- 18 episodes for Sleepy Hollow sounds okay, if they have enough story to tell without stretching too much I'm fine
ReplyDelete- "A new Seinfeld", so I guess it will have a fairly weak first season then ? :P
- meh at Gracepoint being a carbon copy, then again: did we expect any different ?

ReplyDeleteAnd I used to bash Paul Lee.
So David Tennant actually has a passable American accent. The Gracepoint Trailer was admittedly eerily exact to Broadchurch. While I loved Broadchurch as it was very much, I do hope Gracepoint will deviate otherwise why even make it right? Broadchurch did air here in America on BBC America you know.
ReplyDeleteTennant's American accent has improved over the last five years. In '09 he did a pilot called Rex is Not Your Lawyer and his accent was markedly different then.

Yeah for sure! Though he kinda sounds a little Canadian in this vid. On further research this was supposed to be a Chicagoan accent, then for some reason the producers moved the setting to LA. That is definitely NOT an LA accent. Maybe a stretch for Chicagoan too, but closer. Yeah he is leaps and bounds better now. Got the gruff in there too that helps.
