Just because she's serious about marriage from season 1 onwards doesn't mean she always was. People make mistakes when they're growing up, an that'd be especially true of someone who went through so much turmoil.
Just because she had some rebel years doesn't mean her mind was wiped clean after she joined the force. She would had said something, or eventually when they got together...
Yeah, neither her, nor her husband, it's pretty common. Absolutely in character. Maybe we could learn that she was a stripper or a street hooker too? That is also pretty common with young girls with a big trauma and a disfunctional family background. And there are endless possibilities what she had done when she was completely drunk. Rob a bank. Killing baby seals in the zoo. Making porn movies. So many great episode idea.
I wonder whether what could be the absurdity level of a plot in Castle what nobody would want to defend as a good and plausible one?
Nope. In my 22 years, I have never woken up so hungover that I can't remember what happened the night before. And, in the promo you can see that she knows who he is, it was not just random Vegas night...
They could have dated and still not recalled getting married. Not saying it's not a tenuous story, but at the end of the day Castle has long been full of them.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
wow, really? beckett already married, omg who came up with that glorious idea *notice the sarcasm*
ReplyDeleteI really hope they have a good explanation for that, because ever since season 1 Beckett has been pretty serious about marriage...

Shows over
ReplyDeleteLove Castle and all of their twists and turns. Andrew Marlowe and company are sharp, smart, and incredible writers. Looking forward to this finale!
ReplyDeleteCan these new writers screw up Beckett's character any more? Let's turn Canon on its head! That will shake up the viewers!

ReplyDeleteI don't think two people that used to the could be oblivious to their marriage...
ReplyDeleteI don't know, I hope they have a good explanation for it...
