    Getting use to Oliver and Felicity but once again a DC show
    ruins the Dinah Lance (Black Canary) and Oliver Queen ( Green Arrow) love
    story. They are my fav comic book couple. It was once Lois and Clark but has
    changed my mind. Plus getting an awful actress to play Laurel Lance (love the
    character but was iffy about Katie Cassidy from day one). She looks nothing
    like the comic book character. (She had dark hair and blue eyes)

    I was thinking that too. They should make this poster better by having Oliver holding an arrow close to Slade's eye.

    I ship them together. I think Slade is gunning Arrow because he is secretly in love with Oliver.

    Maybe it'll bookend the Slade story. We get to see Oliver start all this by taking out Slade's eye in an island flashback and then, in the present day, we get to see him do it all over again to finish him off.

    That's a good way of thinking it. But to be honest I'm a little dissatisfied with the island stories. Too slow IMHO. If that happens with Slade on the island, I will think that it finally does have a good story.

    I agree. The island stuff story has really slowed down to a crawl, especially in the second half of the season. However, the Arrow producers said that some of the biggest surprises in the finale will be on the island so maybe that'll help turn things around.

    If that's the producers' idea of an island 'surprise' then they might want to reexamine the definition of the word. It seems like everyone has made that connection since Waller was formally introduced to the show. I really hope that's not the surprise they were referring to.

    You're thinking of the old version. Look at the new 52 version in Birds of Prey - her hair style and overall appearance is almost like Katie Cassidy when she's in character. Arrow is showing us a more up to date DLL like the one in New 52.

    Is there any chance that Blood's not dead? that somehow he took the mirakuru and will be around for season 3??? He could be a great foe to Oliver, knowing his secret and Oliver unable to do a thing bout him being mayor... Since Deathstroke is such an important character to the DC universe to be killed of, I wonder if Waller will capture Slade and use him as a member of the suicide squad...

    Well, in the new 52 they still haven't met. Based on that I'm OK with Oliver not being with Laurel, or Sara, even since he slept with both of them, it would be very awkward to be with Laurel again, IMO it's too much complicated to be with any Lance right now...
